Breakdown recovery
I had a major breakdown ( the half shaft snapped in two) at a junction on a small country road. I phoned the ETA breakdown service and told them i needed recovery. They pinpointed my exact position and told me that a recovery vehicle would be with me within an hour. They actually arrived in 45 minutes as ETA use the most local service available.I was regularly updated by text as to the recovery vehicles location. When the recovery vehicle arrived everything went very smoothly. My car was taken to the garage that would be doing the repair as it was very close to my home. And i got a lift home with a very cheerful driver in a massive lorry!

I chose ETA for my cycle insurance (2 expensive e-bikes) this year attracted by the inclusion of Cycle Rescue (which I already had) and the no nonsense clarity and fairness of their policy. Taking advantage of a special short time reduction it was a no-brainer, especially seeing as ETA campaigns for ethical transport promoting the views of cyclists in particular. So a good organisation to support.

Excellent service and price. I have used the recovery service and they bent over to help me when I was stranded with my dog, e-bike and trailer ten miles from home. I wouldn't leave home on a bike without this cover.

I had a punctured tyre Monday morning and called the ETA for help. From the start, their service was exceptional. I contacted ETA at 9am and was given an estimated recovery time of 10:40am. To my surprise, recovery arrived a full hour early at 9:40am, and by 10am, I was back on the road! I also really appreciated that ETA worked with a local recovery company, which made the service quick and convenient.

I had a serious issue with my relatively new carbon road bike frame, ETA were fantastic guiding me through the process of the claim far more helpful than the manufacturers were. If you need a cycle insurer you can trust you would be hard pushed to find one better, special thanks to Laure who was patient with me throughout.

I just like what these people stand for. The changing of some policy details was very easy to do.

I signed up for Cycle Rescue cover after being unable to fix a puncture at the roadside due to a new, very hard to take off "tubeless ready" gravel tyre. This cover gives me the confidence I can get home if needed. Cover paid for and confirmed by email in under 1 hour, very happy with the service from ETA.

Purchasing went well and the stated cover is comprehensive but as with ALL insurance the proof is in the pudding when you come to claim. I swapped from my current provider as the dropped the personal injury compensation and legal cover yet the price is still the same. ETA have given me roadside breakdown assistance, PI comp, legal expenses cover all for a few pounds LESS!.
