ETA Cycle Rescue is a lifesaver for e-bikes
I couldn't wait to write this review because I had the most amazing experience from ETA Cycle Rescue. I was 18 miles from home and had a flat battery on my e-bike. 30 mins after the initial call and I was picked up by an Uber XL (VW Sharan, all back seats folded down). Also, the ETA helpdesk assistant phoned me a couple of times to make sure I was near or at my final destination, I have never experienced such a heartwarming customer service in my life. To think that ETA has been running for 35 years, you're definitely doing something right and I think it's the customer service that makes you shine. I feel guilty paying only £24 per year when the Uber journey cost £36 and there's unlimited call outs anywhere in the UK, that is the stuff of dreams for only £24 per year! Amazing amazing amazing!

We launched Cycle Rescue as UK's first breakdown service for cyclists over 30 years ago - and we think we might still be the only provider of a true 24/7 recovery service. Returning customer
I had a very good experience with the ETA the last time I owned a car and they were my first choice this time. Having personal cover is great as I drive my husband's car from time to time. My only issue is that the website is not always easy to use.

The application form was simple enough, but was repeatedly rejected as were a couple of my attempts to make the payment . I tried again today and it worked first time.

We have offered compensation for the inconvenience caused, but if you remain dissatisfied, our policy wording includes the contact details of the insurance industry ombudsman, who can provide independent review.
Great cover ,good price and exactly what I need
I found the process of contacting and completing my application simple and informative. I chose the bike breakdown cover but will be looking into insurance too for my round Britain cycle. The price was very reasonable and the bike cover exactly what I was looking for.

Comprehensive cover at affordable prices. We bought a mobility scooter policy. ETA’s policy offered broader coverage and greater protection than any of the cheaper budget alternatives. Very easy to purchase on line and the customer care team are easy to contact and very helpful. Would recommend 100%.

Great insurance company
I have had my insurance with ETA for a while now. They have been great to deal with throughout. Easy to get in touch with and talk to when I was changing bike details.
