A fantastic day out!
Booking was easy online and when we needed to move the date of the booking, they were so helpful to assist with this. When we arrived at the site we were amazed on how well kept the site was and the staff were so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with getting my mom around the site in her wheelchair. It was a great day out!

great organisation, excellent customer service
This is a great organisation, they look after an immense number of significant heritage buildings and landscapes in England, spending a lot of resources and attentive care to maintain and preserve our historic assets. I’m very happy to help contributing with my membership. Also their customer service is excellent!

Ending of annual subscription
Recently ended my annual subscription just over halfway through the year. Had expected at least a partial refund.
No refund given. How sad to see the utter contempt big organisations & business have for their customers as oppossed to smaller ones & startups, who appreciate & value their customers. A little bit of goodwill will go along way. Still at least they had a sense of humour in expecting me to rejoin.

If you ended your subscription half way through your membership year and you pay annually, you will still have access to your membership until the renewal date, then it will automatically cancel down. We aren't able to offer refunds unless it has been within 14 days since it was last taken.

Shocked to arrive at Hailes Abbey to…
Shocked to arrive at Hailes Abbey to find it closed and only open one weekend a month, even at the height of summer. Lots of UK and International visitors like us expecting to visit were disappointed, despite the presence of a member of staff who could have easily opened the site and museum. This site is directly on the Cotswold Way and in all the guidebooks. Surely it's possible to open such an important and accessible site during the summer months at least, especially as there was clear evidence that it's being maintained? Why spend the money on staff, maintenance and museum curation but not give access to visitors?

I contacted customer services regarding bereavement of my partner, and to ask if his membership could be changed to my adult daughter, so that I would be able to continue with my joint adult membership.
The request was dealt with very quickly, with confirmation that the change will likely take 10 - 14 working days.
I found the staff member to be caring and helpful.
