Excellent Value
Does what it's supposed to, and at my tier, the pricing is free. When the business gets bigger, I'll be more than happy to pay these guys.
Meanwhile, MailChimp and others are happily charging away at a rate which doesn't really make it worthwhile to me.

Easy to use
I'm a new business owner, not very tech savvy and doing a lot on my own at this stage. I needed something easy to set up, takes away the headache of gdpr compliance, manage subscribers, automated emails etc. Email octopus is doing just that. Loving it so far.

One of the best Email Marketing providers
I've been a satisfied customer for years. Not only does the application work great, but the customer service is also excellent!
They usually respond within an hour, and you get answers that are actually useful. I've worked with several other email marketing providers before, and none can match EmailOctopus!

If you are on Mailchimp - SWITCH!!!
If you run a business and are using Mailchimp, I implore you to explore the possibility of switching over to EO! Especially if you're a small business. I was reluctant to switch as (by design) subscriptions become rooted into your business, however I was able to unpick myself from MC and switch over. It was a much easier process than I expected. The guys at EO were (and continue to this day to be) incredibly responsive, helpful and above all human! I'm so fed up with the impersonal attitude of businesses nowadays.
You can tell that this is a team of guys working together for a common goal and cares about its customers. Each time I've asked for help they've gone above and beyond to assist me with detailled personalise responses rather than being sent to FAQs or given standard templates. It always feels like I'm just being assisted by a well meaning human being which resonates perfectly with the business that I'm trying to run myself!! I saved a ton of money switching to EO and I find their interface is clean and easy to use. I may not be able to speak for more advanced features but so far I've not found myself wanting. their pricing is genuinely reasonable and flexible and built to allow you to grow gradually.

Reliable, easy to use, and fairly priced
I've been using EmailOctopus for a while now, and overall it's been a really solid experience. The platform is easy to navigate, and setting up email campaigns doesn't feel overwhelming or overly technical. I also appreciate that the pricing is fair and transparent; it's much more affordable than some of the big-name alternatives, but still feels reliable.
Their support team has been great too, quick to respond and genuinely helpful whenever I've had questions.
All in all, EmailOctopus strikes a nice balance between simplicity, value, and performance. It's a great option if you want something that just works without unnecessary extras.

Great tool - easy to use and many options in the free Starter plan. I have used mailchimp before but I prefer EmailOctopus - both are easy to use but I feel Emailoctopus works better for me.

Great tool
Great tool! Very intuitive for a beginner like me. Tutorial proposals (including video) pop up in the chatbot exactly when needed. The free version can meet the needs of a small non profit organization like mine but I'll upgrade as soon as I have a budget because I feel bad not paying for such a service. Up to now, the only room for improvement, on my browser (not sure the behavior is the same for all browsers), would be the accurate initial positioning of new elements in a template. It does not always end up exactly where I want but it's honestly so easy to reposition that it's not a big deal and I have not even complained about it to EmailOctopus.

This is a clear sign of problematic list-building and/or list maintenance practices and is against our Terms of Use. Allowing this type of activity would damage deliverability for all our customers, which is why we took immediate action. really good email marketing platform…
really good email marketing platform and super cheap. it doesn't offer native e-commerce integration which is a shame however with a few minutes work to export our contacts and few minutes work to setup UTM tracking we can monitor our campaigns easily.
well worth it and much cheaper than everyone else with no real loss in value.

As an ethical and responsible email marketing provider, we take spam seriously. Our terms strictly prohibit sending unsolicited emails, and we proactively suspend users who breach them, as you’ll see reflected in some of our other negative reviews on Trustpilot.
Every complaint submitted through our reporting form is carefully reviewed by the team who looks after compliance and are actioned within 48 hours.
We don’t typically respond on a one-to-one basis to those complaints with an update, but if you’d like to follow up directly, please email us via our website with the address the email was sent to and the date of the complaint.
