I moved to Email Octopus after the cost with MailChimp went through the roof. My emails don't bring in much money so it didn't make sense to spend an enormous amount every month. Email Octopus is a fraction of the cost with all the same important features. They also had a real person approve my industry during set up, which I appreciated.

EmailOctopus is easy to use, powerful, simple, and has first-class customer service. All at a price that seems very fair to me. It has been a great discovery. I use it mainly to send campaigns, and I also have more than 20 automations running that allow me to contact my customers based on their profiles and preferences.

great service, if I have questions, somebody will come back to me immediately and help me solve an issue. cool team, small, but very dedicated. simple interface, very easy to design and send e-mails. hassle free, for sure. it has become one of my favourite tools for growing my business.

The customer support is A+. They're always there with a quick response ready to help whatever the issue. I had problems splitting lists and they actually did it for me.

We made the switch over from Mailchimp to Email Octopus, which was very easy and we're so pleased we did! Since joining we've used the platform to help us reach our community in a number of ways from newsletters to creating more complex automations, creating segments within our contact list and so on. This has helped us to improve our engagement through specific targeted campaigns. The platform is also very easy to use - great for us non-tech minded folk at our charity!

This is an incredibly well-built application, that does what it promises and "just works" when you need it to. I'm able to add custom fields and workflows to my lists as necessary and there is no bloat compared to Mailchimp or Klaviyo.

Very easy to use and affordable, too! There is a bit of a learning curve to get it set up, but the customer service is super helpful.

Before I went to Email Octopus, I used several other paid email hosts and had to quit them because the costs didn't justify what I was getting. I started Email Octopus on the free plan, did that for years, and have recently upgraded. It's a great alternative and I recommend it to everyone.

EmailOctopus is an excellent solution to managing email lists. My use involves multiple discrete lists, with tags used to segment. I have not regretted making the switch to EO and would highly recommend it for cost-effectiveness and ease of use.

EmailOctopus provide a reliable service and that’s vital in any email provider. Deliverability is very good, and the support team are always prompt and helpful. The service has more than enough features for content creators and it integrates well with third party products.

We used this service to send emails to ~5000 contacts that we have. Apparently, they started charging us for 45000 contacts/month for nearly a year. When we asked to solve it, they arrogantly declined it and only refunded last 3 charges (the charges after we reported the issue, not actual solution).

Stay away if you are considering them because you will take their word on saving money. It will cost you a lot more. I wish we never used this solution, there are a lot better options out there.

Their platform clearly doesn't have means to deduplicate or deactivate duplicate contacts and they blame you for it.

So, the first month they charged us for 5000 emails. Second month, they charged 10,000 contacts( 5000+5000 from previous month ), third month 15,000 contacts (5000+5000 from 1 months ago+5000 from 2 months ago) and so on. It came all the way to 45,000 contacts/month. In fact, it is composed of the same 5000 leads that each of them was duplicated 9 times. And, they charged us for all that.

I have had a great experience with octopus, they are a great team and their system is reliable and easy to understand

I used MailChimp for years and I've also looked into other options for Email Service Providers. The others were always very expensive, didn't have enough features that I wanted, or were complicated to use. I find EmailOctopus is just about perfect for my needs. The only thing I'd like them to have is a visual builder that also provides access to the HTML. But I can usually just start with an external editor, then dump my HTML in and make any minor edits at the end. Overall, it's a simple tool that has a great price.

I get a great platform and customer service for a great price with EmailOctopus. I'd been with another service before finding EO and the switch was really a no brainer. I kept my subscription with the other service for a few months just in case I wasn't satisfied. Could have saved myself some money. EmailOctopus has everything I need.

I love that the platform is so intuitive for non-techies. The company is readily available for support. The data reports are extremely useful for click through responses etc. And the email open response rates are just about as good as I've experienced with other systems.
