Minha experiência com a El Monte RV foi excelente do início ao fim.

O motorhome estava em ótimas condições, muito bem conservado, limpo e totalmente funcional, o que trouxe segurança e conforto para toda a nossa viagem. A retirada foi organizada e a equipe demonstrou profissionalismo e atenção em todos os detalhes.

Durante toda a viagem, o veículo se comportou perfeitamente, permitindo que aproveitássemos cada momento com tranquilidade e liberdade. Viajar de motorhome pela Califórnia foi uma experiência incrível, e a El Monte RV teve um papel fundamental nisso.

Foi uma experiência memorável, que certamente ficará marcada para sempre, e com toda certeza escolheríamos a El Monte RV novamente.

Rental was in off season FEB, so all aspects were fast an efficient. Went to a couple rv parks and spent 3 nights boondocking on very remote beaches in Baja. Everything worked as advertised. Reasonable rates AND a 20% discount!

We rented an RV from El Monte RV for a 5-night trip, and our experience was completely overshadowed by multiple frustrating and unacceptable issues, making it an extremely disappointing rental overall.

The Problems We Encountered:

Excessive Pickup Time: Despite having a scheduled pick-up slot, it took us an unacceptable three hours to get the RV. This was not due to paperwork, but rather a significant lack of efficiency on their part, as we spent most of that time simply waiting.

Lack of Cleanliness: The RV was notably unclean upon pickup. My kids' white socks turned black within a minute of walking inside, indicating the floors had not been properly cleaned.

Stained Bed Sheets: The bed sheets we rented from them were visibly stained, which was unhygienic and completely unacceptable.

Outdated RV Model: The RV model provided (Class A Pursuit) looked nothing like those advertised on their website or in their instruction videos. It felt significantly older and less modern than what was portrayed, leading to a feeling of misrepresentation regarding the vehicle's condition and features. Additionally, the wear and tear in the interior was simply not acceptable for the prices they charge and the advertisement they make.

Suspected Incomplete Fuel Tank: We cannot say for certain, but the gas tank did not appear to be 100% full when we left the rental place. The fuel indicator dropped very quickly shortly after departure, an experience that did not occur when we refueled the RV ourselves during the trip.

I would definitely avoid renting a RV from them in the future as it was not a positive experience overall.

Rental process was easy, the cost was competitive, and the RV itself was clean and had no maintenance issues.

This was the second time I rent an rv from here. The service was great even after I told them they for to empty the tank before they gave me the rv. We had to find somewhere to dump the water when are trip started. They apologize and gave me credit. The second time was not so great. The slider was coming out as I was driving. I had to pull over and call so they can help me put it back in. Only one side was out. The lady was great help me figure it out and we put it back in. I took another two hours to get to Mr destination. When it opened again. My kids screamed and I hit a parked car. There was damage to the side of the road. I called in again and told them what happened. They told me they will send someone to fix it. They never did. A guy with another rv show me how to wedge it so that it will not open as I'm driving. I drove back to California. I made it to the dealership. When I dropped it off and told them what happened. They kept calling people to go see it. Two men where looking at the damage then called a supervisor, then a manager. They told me s that cold not happened if I had video. I explained i was driving both time it happened and pull over on the side to try to fix it. I did not take video or pictures because I was on the phone. The hole tile i felt I was being interrogated. Not one person said "are you ok."" Is your family ok", I have 6 boys that got really scared when it happened. After I dropped it off the service was gone. I glad I bought extra insurance. I felt they cared more the damage than my family's safety.

We had a problem with the door that was very difficult to open. I called customer support several times, but no one was able to help us. The van was not in good condition.

I pick up the RV when checking things out the refrigerator wasn’t working and never work they never test the slide out didn’t work I call roadside assistance tuck long time to return my call went they call back I have to do resetting control system I thing is not acceptable is a vacation i soupost to have good time not work Al so the propain gas tank was broken can’t refill I think for the next person don’t relice rv the is in not working is sad

Had rented for years at the Van Nuys branch, always great. It closed so we used the Firestone Blvd HQ. Absolutely horrible experience. Check out wasnt bad. The RV was rough with a lot of little things wrong with it. The Fridge stopped working after a day. Mirrors wouldn't adjust, doors didn't latch well. The return was as the worst. Park the RV in the turn in lane. Wait 10 minutes, nothing. Go inside, wait 10 minutes to be told that someone will be out in a minute. Wait 10 more minutes, use the phone outside that connects inside to be told "well everyone is on break." Less then an hour after they opened? Finally get someone out to turn it in and when I mentioned the fridge they said that the best way to solve it is to "turn the fridge off for 24 hours." So what's the point of having a fridge? I can go on, about the staff arguing that it is a "Brand New RV, we only got it last month" with 45K miles? I rented annually, now never again from El Monte. They buy year or two old RV's that have high miles and run them into the ground before they sell them at a premium. Never again.

I have rented with El Monte on 2 occasions now and bot times the vehicle was modern, comfortable, and easy to adjust to... and more importantly the costumer service was fun and excellent.

Rented a Class C RV to take g-kids on a short vacation. The rental experience with El Monte was great. From initial reservation to that final check in was seamless. The RV was clean and well maintained. My third time as an El Monte customer. Price was competitive, would consider renting again.

The trip was amazing but please make sure to check everything over and confirm it’s all in working condition. Arrived to pick up motor home and they wanted to give us a unit that had front tire tread wear to the point of a possible blowout, if we had not noticed it for ourselves. The girl helping us was very apologetic but the technician as just complaining “we have to take it to the tire shop and it’s going to take hours” as if that was going to make me change my mind and take it that way. The girl helping us got that all worked out in about 45 mins and continued to be apologetic. On the trip, we were using the bathroom faucet and it appeared to be glued together under the counter and was falling apart. But the biggest issue we had that changed the trip comfort level, was when we were attempting to empty the sewage and come to find out that the unit didn’t have a sewage hose, only (2) water hoses. The sewage box was there, but had an additional water hose inside the box for a total of 2? Upon calling customer service, they advised me to go buy one and they’ll reimburse me. Great! I want to drive around on my vacation and try to find a sewage hose when this should’ve been on the checklist when the technicians go through the unit to confirm it’s ready to rent out again, much like the two front bald tires. Please do better with quality control and repairs.

From start to finish El Monte RV was amazing. It cost a fortune,(worth it) and we got a flat tire 30 miles from home….. but the customer service was lovely. Got someone out on a holiday. Zero issues. Ram van was so comfortable, with plenty of space. We were in a rain storm and could not step out onto the muddy ground, 24 hours inside it, totally relaxing.

After being assured all was set to go, we drove 2.5 hours to our location only to discover later that evening that the oven, water heater, and TV wasn’t properly functioning. When we turned on the shower, the water smelled terrible too! We had to run the water for awhile before it seemed ok. With limited water, that seems unacceptable. We were given the runaround when we reached out and had to continue to try contact them (in an area where service was spotty). Luckily they had company representatives at the event we were at and eventually they brought over an RV to replace the one we had but we lost an entire day of our trip trying to get this squared away and all our belongings transferred. Even in the new RV, the oven and TV were not functional but at that point hot, clean water was really all that mattered. Still, for how much we’re charged we should expect all the things that are touted to be functioning properly. Lastly, on the drive back our phone connection to the GPS system kept going in and out whenever we hit bumps in the road (because of the system; it wasn’t a cord connection) which is a safety concern when driving such a large vehicle on the freeway!
In hindsight, we should have spent as much time as we needed to check all of these things ourselves before driving off the lot (and will definitely do that if we ever rent an RV again).
