I made the mistake to switch to Elite Home Warranty. They are very expensive therefore I thought they were a better company that would take care of my needs. They have been nothing but problems. They always find a reason to deny your claim. It's incredible and disappointing. The customer service managers are rude and unprofessional. I had an issue with a hot tub. it took over 6 months to get the issue kind of resolved. They charged me every time. Then they had to recall the tech like 3 times. It took so long, meanwhile the hot tub sat empty. When I was able to fill the tub back up the pump didn't work. They denied the claim because the reason for failure could be that there was no water going to the pump. The hot tub was completely off no power to it while they repaired it. They made the decision and close the claim without talking to me and then call me today to tell me they closed it yesterday and there was no way to change the decision. They said "I am the manager there is no one else to speak to" everyone I talk to is supposedly a manager. Absolutely terrible business, unprofessional and a scam. Go with a different company. I am leaving the review FOR OTHERS NOT TO MAKE THIS MISTAKE. This company is supposedly accredited with the BBB and they should not be.

I closed on my new home in the state of Maryland on February 18, 2025. As apart of my deal, my seller paid for a one year home warranty. I selected ELITE Home Warranty based on the advertisements. I moved in my home on March 1, 2025, and after reaching back out to my Title Company and Agent, I learned that the home warranty information was sent to my agent. My agent sent me the information on March 5, 2025. She thought that she was cc'd as she had been on every document related to closing. Hence, ELITE had never sent me my policy information. In March 2025, I noticed a leak in my hot water heater so I called ELITE. I did not know that I had to pay $70 to file a claim. I paid it. They sent someone out and called me with a ridiculous offer compared to what I would have to pay. I got a second estimate from Michael & Sons and it was agreed upon by all parties. I have been awaiting this $220 check since March. Every time I call, it's a different estimate on the timeline (regular days vs. business days). Today I called back because I know that I am wayyyyy past 45 days. I called to inquire about the check and how to cancel because this service is horrible. The guy put me on hold to contact finance, who said that I should have the check by June 3, 2025 because of Memorial Day and the Post Office. I told him okay but it sounded as if they hadn't even mailed it out and that I am interested in seeing the post mark date. I then asked about cancellation. He explained that if I cancelled I wouldn't receive the check. I asked for an explanation since it had allegedly already been mailed. He then said that they would void and cancel the check, EVEN THOUGH I PAID FOR THE CLAIM and this occurred during the term of coverage. I asked for someone in leadership and he claimed to be a supervisor. I don't understand a claim/warranty taking almost 90 days meaning the item that is broken can cause additional damage to the home. This is a horrible way to scam new home owners.

The company does not pay the bills. We had a tech go out and find the problem on a no heat call, called EHW to let them know and were instructed to fix the heat. 4 months later still cant get paid for services after get approval over the phone.

This company trys everything they can to not approve your claim, worse experience I've ever had with a warranty company, my first claim 6months into a 13month contract denied for something they are supposed to cover but do anything they can to deny it, took having to wait over 2weeks for a answer #1 waste of money #2 horrible customer service! #3 scam! I'd recommend for u to check there BBB! Choose a different company choose a company that cares about the everyday hard working family's! Cause this company doesn't! Real review from a real person!

April 23, 2024 I purchased a warranty from Elite Home warranty for my retirement house I purchased in Brandon, Mississippi (this is not a rural area). It was $850 with the pool equipment and high end appliance plans included. In August, I had a claim for a clogged toilet and paid my copay, they couldn't find any plumbers who would work with them - so I got my $70 copay refund and I fixed it myself. I thought is was a fluke that they couldn't find anyone, maybe everyone was on vacation. Fast forward to April of 2025 the pool heater went out and I called in this claim and paid $150 copay for them to send someone out to fix it. And again they couldn't find anyone in our area that would work with them. They refunded my $150 copay. At this time I figure it out - they have sold me a worthless policy that they have no contractors lined up with to ever come to my house and provide services. I asked for all of my $850 back, as it is fraud to sell services you cannot provide. I have talked to 3 people trying to get my $850 back and the last gal said she is the top of the line - that anyone above her is management and they won't talk to me. She said if I had asked for my money back earlier they could have given me a prorated refund - but since my policy expires May 29th they will give me nothing. I reminded her that this is fraudulent business practices to take people's money and then not have the ability to offer the services that the customer paid for. She said they will not refund my money.

The company is reliable, kind of slow on communication, i.e. they didn't contact me to renew, but when I had an appliance issue they responded and remedied as promised.

Do not use this company , they take the money and don't render service ( they simply subcontract other companies and then tell you that the item is not covered under warranty).
It happened to me already and also in another instance they made me wait on one appointment, and no one showed up. When I called they said that they would investigate but no one did anything or called me back , just a different supervisor every time i ask for one.
Like someone else noted they are just a bunch of kids answering the phone. And every time there is someone new answering the phone ( many people there leave because they realize what's going with that company).
When I realized how bad they were, I asked for a refund because of their unavailability to render decent service, and they would not refund me, even if I had not used their service once because they bailed on me.
I filed a complaint also with the BBB against this company.
Do you research and see how many bad reviews are out there for this company and don't believe what they advertise that they have no negative reviews.

I would give less than 1 if that was possible. Absolutely the worst Home Warranty company in the US in my opinion. Their super aggressive salesperson sold us a 3 year warranty and we have had 3 small claims (one with the HVAC, one with the oven and one with a washing machine) so far in the last 14 months. They have denied every single one saying the problem is not a covered item!!!!!!!! You end up paying for the repair yourself and the $70 to them. I tried to get a refund for the remainder of my policy and they told me I would only get $600 of the $1600+ I gave them because they deduct not only the pro-rated portion of the premium but they will also deduct every penny they had to pay on the claims!! The claims that were EXCLUDED. This company is horrible. DO NOT buy this warranty.

I had a great experience with Elite Home Warranty! My AC issue was handled quickly and professionally by the technician they hired everything was fixed properly and without any hassle. The customer service reps were also incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. They kept me informed, followed up regularly, and made sure everything was taken care of. I really appreciate the support and efficiency. Highly recommend Elite Home Warranty!

Refrigerator Repair - Included Compressor on their coverage list. They charge you $75 to have someone diagnose the repair but then make the excuse that the Compressor is part of the sealed system. Also says Leaks of any kind. Tech never even checked compression or for leaks in the compressor. No OIL coming out anywhere of the compressor. DO NOT SIGN UP, DO NOT PAY IN ADVANCE ANY FEES!

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. Absolutely Do Not Recommend. My experience with Elite Home Warranty has been nothing short of a nightmare. I contacted them on March 5 regarding an issue with my AC/Heat system and specifically requested they contact a company I trust to handle the service-I was told when I signed up that I could use my own choice of technicians. I made this request to two different representatives. Instead, Elite contacted a completely different company without my consent. That technician replaced a connector, which fried my entire system.

I ended up having to pay out of pocket to replace the whole unit—something that could’ve been avoided if Elite had simply followed my instructions.

Even worse? No one returns calls. I’ve reached out multiple times, and the communication has been sketchy and evasive. When I finally got through, they told me they wouldn’t take responsibility and that I should try to get reimbursed from the company they hired. Absolutely unbelievable.

I was told when I signed up that I could use my own technicians—that was a lie. I’ve asked to cancel my warranty and get a refund. I paid for three years in advance and they are offering to return $300 even though I have paid thousands. I asked for a manager to respond to my emails and it's been a week with no response. I'm so disappointed.

Save yourself the stress and money. I would never recommend Elite Home Warranty.

I had 2 have the shower head replaced due to a leak. After the job was finished they refused to pay saying that replacing a shower head is an upgrade. They left me with a $450 bill. I will never do business with them again. I was with them 2 years after paying $82 a month. I went back to choice home warranty. I went over the bill with them and they said they would have covered it.

I wish I could give ZERO stars. I signed up for Elite Home Warranty in September 2024, believing their promises of comprehensive coverage for all my appliances, regardless of age. The sales rep sold me on their "top-rated" BBB status, claiming they were better than all other home warranty companies. Based on these claims, I forked out $2,300 for a 3-year contract.

The reality couldn’t have been more different. When I received my 31-page contract, I was shocked to find that the first few pages 1-3 were filled with useless ads, like a free home security system, etc. pages 5-7 was the agreement and in large bold max payout per year for each appliance. And the rest of the "service agreement" was buried in fine print on pages 8–31. What’s worse, the large, bold coverage terms they advertised were intentionally misleading. I never expected to be hit with so many hidden exclusions buried in fine print.

In March 2025, when my water heater broke, I called them expecting to be covered up to $2,000, as promised. I paid the $70 service fee, thinking the rest would be handled. A plumber came out, determined the heater was unrepairable, and submitted a $1,850 quote for a replacement. After waiting hours, I was told Elite would approve only $750—completely contrary to what was clearly stated in the contract.

When I questioned this, the representative told me to refer to page 26 of the contract, where it states that water heaters over 10 years old are only covered for $750. This was never explained during the sales process, and the contract buried this crucial information deep in the fine print. It’s clear that Elite Home Warranty intentionally misleads customers into thinking they’re covered for major repairs, only to hit them with drastic payout limits when the time comes.

Elite is nothing but a scam! They will lure you in with empty promises, then leave you high and dry with small payouts and countless exclusions. They don’t care about their customers—they care about collecting your money. I’m stuck with them for two more years, but I’m done trusting anything they say.

I wouldn’t recommend Elite Home Warranty to my worst enemy. The sales representatives are dishonest, deceptive, and clearly have no interest in delivering on their promises. If you value your time and money, stay far, far away from this company!

I have been paying them month since February 2024.Only gave one star because I had to. This was the worst company I ever had to deal with. I call for dishwasher on January 3,2025. They said I have to wait until.15th which is my monthly payment day. The tech comes said I new a new machine. Elite would call me. They never call . I had to call them . Said they were going to send a check next business day. Call back it got change to 30 days.Call again it got change to holiday included. Call again weekends too. On the 34th day after the kept bullshit me. Mind you my dishwasher is sitting in my middle of my kitchen. I called and they said It's still being processed. So 2month 15 day still no check for me to buy dishwasher. .But They want me to make another monthly payment again. This is breach of our contract. They are are just theive !!!.I BBB because they gave accredited as good company. Well can't trust them now either.March 24,2025. They sent me my check for my dishwasher. The date on check was March 5,2025. I thank you BBB fm& Trustpllilot for help making this right.

A provider was found quickly to fix my dryer, the provider had great communication and worked with me to come at a time when I would be home. I appreciate that the warranty company worked with the provider to fix my appliance the same day! It always helps getting life back to normal and everything working properly. Bryan coordinated everything for me and was very good at keeping me informed
