The quick response and completion of the work order. Paul and Bryan were super helpful and when there was a brief snag it was all straightened out quickly.

They do not cover AC/heat units for your home. In fact, they cover very little. It's a scam, like so many of them. I would never use this company. They just rejected my claim for my 11-year-old AC/heat unit. $10,000, and I get no compensation for the home warranty. NOT COVERED.

I spoke with Mr. Ray Kahn, who was extremely patient and explained everything and took time every step of the way! Offered all the helpful advice I needed! I’m looking forward to being with Elite for years to come!

I joined because of the good reviews. First experience so far is horrible and I would not recommend. It’s clear they’ll take your money and not honor your claim. So disappointing. Stay clear.

After doing research on home warranties, I narrowed my selections to Elite Home Warranty and 2 other companies. I received a phone call from Robert at Elite Home Warranty who articulately described the plan's features and pricing. I was impressed by both the depth of the plan's coverage and Robert's friendliness and expertise. Robert informed of plan term and pricing options which made my decision to select Elite Home Warranty more appealing. After brief consideration, I signed up. My whole experience that included the selection of Elite Home Warranty that is top rated, and my pleasurable interation with Robert was nothing short of perfect. I felt completely satisfied and confident in making this decision.

I hope you read this before hiring them, rather than after realizing they are not what they promise to be.

I contacted this company after seeing positive reviews on this site and hired them for two properties. The salesperson thoroughly explained what was covered, and I specifically asked about cast iron pipes in case we had that issue. He assured me it would be covered.

When we had a clogged toilet in one of the houses, their technician arrived and asked the tenant if this had happened before. The tenant mentioned a past issue, and the company declined service, claiming they don’t cover recurring problems—even though they had never serviced the house before. Hours of my time were wasted on calls, and after multiple delays, we decided to cancel the policy. Again, they wasted more of my time, promised to call me back to finalize the cancellation but never did. I had to follow up, and now, 10 days later, I still haven’t received my refund.

Meanwhile, at the second property, where a family with children lives, we had another toilet clog. It took them four days just to send a technician—not to fix it, but only to assess the issue and provide a quote. My tenants were understandably frustrated. Then, the company called me, saying that their plumbing partner was charging them too much and they could only cover about 60% of the cost—which, by the way, was more than double what a regular plumber would charge me to fix it.

I reminded them that I paid for a warranty and a $75 service fee so I wouldn’t have to deal with this in the first place. I refused to pay extra. They called back later, offering to lower the amount I had to pay just to get the plumber out. I reluctantly agreed, but by then, it was already Friday, so they scheduled the repair for Monday. Come Monday at 4 PM, the plumbing company called me to reschedule for the next day—and that was the final straw. I called my own plumber and am now cancelling the second policy with them.

This company completely defeats the purpose of a home warranty. Instead of providing peace of mind, they delay everything, make you wait for their overpriced contractors, then come back asking you for more money because their partners overcharge them. Meanwhile, your issue remains unresolved. As im writing this they just declined paying me back the $75 service fee I pad for this recent call that the plumbing company was not able to provide today.

Save yourself money, time, and frustration—stay away from this irresponsible company.

I just looked in to this service today in regards to the uncertainty of the times of our Future and ALL OF THE UNKNOWS, WHAT IF'S & THE WHO,WHAT,WHY,WHEN? ECT...AND WITH PRICES ON THE RISE IT'S NOT CHEAP TO LIVE ANYMORE. AFTER SEEING AN AD FOR ELITE HOME WARRANTY AND CLICKED ON THE WEBSITE AND JUST READING AND PUTTING INFORMATION IN TO GET A QUOTE ONLY, NO PRESSURE CALL. I HAD THE CALL WITHIN 2 OR 3 MINS WITH JACK C. AND WHEN I ANSWERED I BLUNTLY STATED IDK IF I'M GOING TO BUY ANYTHING AT ALL I WANT A QUOTE, JACK WAS AN AWESOME REPRESENTATIVE 1,000% FROM START TO FINISH. IF THERE WERE ONLY A MILLION AND ONE MORE JACK'S IN THE WORLD THINGS WOULD GET DONE!!! AND I HOPE THAT THE SERVICES ARE JUST AS IMPRESSIVE AND STRAIGHT FORWARD AS JACK!! If I could give zero stars I would. STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY- they will use every tactic in the book to deny you. Small print says even if you have a claim on a covered item, at their discretion, they can CHOOSE not to pay out or they can opt to give you a small portion of the value. Total total scam.

I previously wrote a review on Elite Warranty. I stand by my review however I would like to clarify that I worked with several different Elite Customer service agents. Although I am unhappy with Elite as a Company and how they handle warranty issues I would like to express my thanks to Michael personally. He was absolutely wonderful. He was great and showed great compassion, professionalism, and follow up. I GREATLY appreciate him. As far as Elites coverage policies, I find them appalling and unworthy of what they really cover. I have had many home warranties but NEVER HAD SUCH DELAYS DUE TO THEIR “review board”. I spoke with a supervisor, Mr Jenkins who was anything but professional as well as rude and didn’t know how to deal with a customer who had been frustrated after 5 days of unresolved issue. Also, he said he would personally call me back but had Michael call me instead. Don’t say you will do something and as a supervisor not do it.
MICHAEL, THANK YOU FOR BEING THE BEST PART OF ELITE WARRANTY. Other agents should learn from Michael on how to handle phone calls and return calls.

Horrible company to do business with. There main objective is delay and denial. I submitted a claim to have a leaking laundry angle stop replaced. They sent a plumbing company who “diagnosed” the problem, they agreed it needed replacing. They had to send paperwork for authorization to repair. I was told it would be 24 to 48 hours for the home warranty company to decide if the claim would be approved. I heard nothing so I called the home warranty company and they told me that they were waiting for information from the plumping company as to the reason for failure (it’s an angle stop), and the cost of supplies and what it would cost to fix it. I’m still waiting to hear back from them. This is going on two weeks now. I would highly suggest steering care of this company. They certainly do not have the home owner best interest in mind.

I encourage potential customers to read the Google reviews on Elite Home Warranty. There is a distinct difference between how nice the sales and customer service people are and the actual work they do.

I am extremely dissatisfied with Elite Home Warranty's handling of my recent claim. When my AC unit began making knocking and squealing noises, I proactively contacted a local HVAC technician who diagnosed impending failures in the fan motor, contactor, and run capacitor. Following this, I opened a claim with Elite Home Warranty.

Elite denied my claim, citing a lack of maintenance. After presenting my maintenance records, they shifted their reasoning, stating that since the unit was still operational, it wasn't eligible for coverage.

Choosing not to repair a still-functioning unit, I awaited its inevitable failure. Two weeks later, as anticipated, the unit failed entirely. I filed another claim, and despite the urgency of below-freezing temperatures, Elite failed to dispatch a technician within their promised 24-48 hour window. I had to intervene by providing contact information for my local HVAC company. When the technician confirmed the fan motor failure, Elite offered to cover only $385 of the $546 repair bill, again referencing alleged maintenance neglect and prior notification of the impending failure.

I spent nearly three hours on the phone with customer service, who consistently attempted to evade their contractual obligations. While the representatives were polite, the company's policies are designed to exploit fine print and avoid responsibility. They frequently cite reasons such as "lack of maintenance," "waiting periods," and "misuse and abuse" to deny valid claims.

I strongly advise against using Elite Home Warranty. Their practices are deceptive, and they fail to honor their contractual commitments, leaving homeowners unprotected and frustrated.

Called to get a quote and associate was not pushy, clear and polite. A great experience.

I found Elite sales rep Jonathon to be extremely helpful and not high pressure. He was able to answer all my questions regarding coverage. I like that Elite has more flexible approach so I was able to taylor coverage that meet my needs, rather than a larger plan covering many things I don’t want/need….in turn my premium represented only those things I wanted , and not a bloated with many things I don’t want/need

Robert did a good job of explaining the plans and found me the best plan for our budget.
