I paid a fortune for 3 x months subscription which i took as directed. Absolutely no difference - no reduction in appetite - no weight loss - nothing. Elcella will tell you - ' it takes time'. But with no result after 3 months & over £ 500 i certainly wasn't going to continue. No i certainly wouldn't recommend. I truly feel like i've been scammed. Very disappointed

I found that i achieved no weight loss and the experience for me was a very expensive waste of time. I would personally not recommend Elcella and would advise using one of the proven weight loss drugs instead.

I've been taking a half dose for 8 months and I have lost a stone. Down a clothes size, and find that I drink less alcohol and walk past the free kitkats in the office where I work without picking them up.
I generally feel healthy, and bowel habits are fantastic. Given that I had major gut surgery a few years ago, this isn't something I take for granted.
You have to stick with it for the first month, and listen to what your body is telling you - not a silver bullet - but it does reduce appetite without reducing the enjoyment of food and wine. I'm sticking with it for the forseeable future and very happy with my subscription.

These pills made absolutely no difference to my appetite- literally no change. I took them for 3 months, entirely as instructed (this was a pain as they are large pills and the timing needs to be accurate) and they MADE NO DIFFERENCE.
I also found it difficult to cancel the subscription.

Elcella has truly made a difference for me. It really helped me get my portions under control, and I noticed my appetite and cravings for sweet treats reduced almost immediately. Within a couple of weeks, I started to see my weight gradually dropping, which was so encouraging.

I started on Elcella 6 months ago and I was skeptical, although I knew it was backed by significant scientific research. I started to feel changes after 4/5 weeks, less snacking and started to feel full when I was eating my meals. Lost a couple of cm off my waist but no weight loss. The amazing thing for me was that I then lost 12kg over the 10 weeks when I reduced my dosage to 2 capsules twice a day. I lost another 2 kg in the next 4 weeks and the reduced my dosage to 2 capsules once a day. I have continued to have reduced cravings and eat smaller meals. I have maintained my weight loss, while feeling energised. It does take time, but it works

Didn't work for me
I had high hopes for Elcella having read various positive reviews and marketing. The first week I took it I had a reduction in appetite and lost interest in sweet foods. However, after that my appetite returned to normal. I gave it two months, but with no change I just couldn't justify the expense of carrying on.
I know they say to take it for three months, but having read through a lot of a reviews, it seems to either work for people almost immediately, or not work at all. I haven't seen many people say that they started to notice changes after taking it for three months.
Clearly it is effective for many people, and that's great, but just be aware there are a lot of people who have no reduction in appetite when taking this supplement, so in that respect it doesn't seem like an alternative to GLP-1 which works for most in reducing appetite.
I know they have spent many years and a lot of money researching and developing this product, but I think the marketing is misleading and is going to dupe a lot of people like me.
I've given it two stars as I like that it's a natural product and I did have a couple of positive side effects such as glowing skin and some mild improvement in digestive issues. However it is just not worth the money for that sadly.

Progress after ten weeks on Elcella
After reading about Elcella in a Times supplement in November I decided to purchase the 'Awaken' course of pills. After about a month I noticed that I had stopped eating between meals. Now after ten weeks I have dropped a couple of kilos, even though my wife and I have celebrated Christmas, New Year and a special Birthday in the meantime. I expect to lose more weight by the end of the ninety days and will then choose my next course. I am delighted with the progress I've made. Elcella have stayed in touch by email and phone and I know I can contact them if I have any questions.

Good experience
I have been really surprised by Elcella. It was an expensive investment and I was dubious but liked the science behind it. I have bile acid malabsorption and have struggled for years with poor digestion etc and I also wanted to lose some weight. I’ve been on it for 2 months now (2 bottles) and my digestive issues are stable, my skin is very good and although I’ve not lost weight yet, in the last 2 weeks my sweet cravings have really tailed off. I believe it’s helping the restoration of a healthy gut and will stay on this dose for another 3 months, when I think I will start to see weight loss too.

I’ve been on Elcella for about nine weeks - and my primary reason was to give my gut an overhaul and try to address snacking and lifelong sugar cravings. As a happy consequence I’ve lost about 5kg - I’m very active and really not overweight so this wasn’t the main reason I wanted to try it - but I’m also navigating perimenopause and in the last couple of years am definitely eating more and feeling so much more hungry! I have been taking Elcella for 17 days now, and have already lost 3.8kgs. I have a mean sweet tooth from time to time, and have found that my craving for such things has been reduced and I find myself not eating as much as I would usually. I take Elcella fasted in the morning, and the second dose at about 16:00 just before dinner. Highly recommend, and will be happy to update the review once I have completed the full 12 week run.

As a cyclist I've been looking to drop weight
As a cyclist I've been looking to drop a few kilos over winter to start the new season as light as possible. The best gut health supplement
I am 10 weeks into my Elcella protocol and delighted with the results. I started Elcella for the gut repair benefits but in the process have lost an inch around my waist and an inch around my hips. I’ve struggled with gut issues and intolerances for almost 15yrs and tried every diet and gut health / de-bloat supplement in this time but never managed to find a lasting cure. I’m generally a very healthy eater but at night experience food noise and cravings and tended to overeat. A few days into taking Elcella I noticed the food noise and cravings almost immediately disappeared, and now 10 weeks in my bloating has reduced by about 90%.

Goodbye 3pm cravings!
I wanted to wait until I’d gone past the 12 week mark before I reviewed - even though I noticed changes around 1 month.
When I started this journey I was looking for something that helped my overall gut health, and helped me eat more intuitively. In the past I often turned to sugary snacks, especially during certain weeks of the month which then affected my hormones. It’s been a vicious cycle, which often led to emotional eating.
As someone that loves food, I wanted to enjoy eating instead of feeling like I needed the fix to boost my energy levels and mood.
I can happily say that I am now eating a well rounded diet and the 3pm sugar craving no longer rears its ugly head. I feel like I’m naturally choosing more nourishing foods and taking the time to cook.
What has also been a real game changer is having more mental clarity in my daily life. It’s great starting the new year feeling like I’ve worked on my health from the inside out.
And although I didn’t go into this specifically looking to a drop dress size, due to the lack of sugary snacks, I have noticed my clothes fit better and I’m more comfortable in tighter fitting clothes.
