Very straightforward
Very straightforward, pay in advance then they contact you to book an appointment. They had availability within a couple of days and when they came to do the appointment they were professional and quick. Great price too as we had been quoted more than double by another company.

Shop around
From beginning to the end a disastrous experience, firstly payment of £169.00 payment,before anybody came to my property,then i had to chase around to get an appointment, from then ,a work man on the 3rd Sept arrived,he did what he needed to do for the report,when finished I asked if I had passed EICR, he smiled and said his boss needs to give clearance,but said it seems OK,5 days later after chasing for report, your company claimed it was unsuccessful, with a future bill of at least £1500 pounds + gut institution made me take advice ,as to the report,I had a second electrical report passed no issues. I think to say the least I was to be taken for a ride.As for a review I would not recommend your company to anybody

I’m so sorry to read about your experience – I can completely understand how upsetting and frustrating this must have been for you, from the upfront payment through to the appointment booking, and then the confusion and distress caused by the outcome of the EICR. This is absolutely not the standard of service we want to deliver, and I sincerely apologise for the stress and inconvenience caused.
I’m concerned to hear that a second electrician carried out an EICR and passed it without issue, when our report had suggested otherwise. To help us investigate this properly, I would be very grateful if you could send us a copy of the second EICR you received from the other electrician.
If you could email it to info@propcert.co.uk, our Electrical Manager will personally review it against the report carried out by our field worker, and from there we can determine the next steps and how we can put this right for you.

Avoid if you can
Being a landlord I have been using this company for EPCs and Gas Safety Certificates since 2015 and will never use them again.
EPC rating for my property was downgraded from C to D and when I complained about this I have been asked to provide relevant certificates and evidence of work conducted at the property. I did this and still nothing happened.
Afterwards I have been contacted by the company again and the issue was eventually resolved to my satisfaction.

total nightmare
total nightmare. I wouldn't use them again and I wouldn't recommend them. They answer the phone to take your order, but after that It took hours on hold trying to get them to actually do the work. Then it was ages again before the certificate arrived, and when it came the information on it was wrong.

Shoddy service (and not worth the mark-up)
First of all, this company seems to trade by many different names. From their emails, two names: PropCert and EnergyPerformance Certificates. When I phone them, they appear on my phone as TT Skate Properties. When I review them here on Trust Pilot, they appear as EcoApproach.co.uk. This doesn't inspire confidence.
More importantly, their service: While they did match me to a local provider (who seemed nice enough) to do the EICR, you have wait a long time on hold and then only reach operators who don’t know much. A big business.
After the inspection, I had to contact them to get my report. I was instructed to find the it in my online account. It wasn’t there. I tried to reach them by phone and email. After a couple days, they emailed me a report -- someone else's! Another couple days, more emails. Finally, I got the correct report.
As all this company (whatever it's called) does is match you to a local electrician and then add a big markup, for poor service, why not just use Google and go local directly?
