Rented 2 cars from them during our vacation to Cancun. Office was a bit away from airport but they came to pick us up and dropped us off.
Everything went smoothly.

Everything was fine: we were given an instruction for pickup, driver met us with a sign, car was ok

But we were told that if we dont buy additional insurance car deposit will be 3000 USD (for the smallest car). With additional insurance (10 USD per day) deposit was just 300 USD. So we took insurance

We reserved a small car for 14 days in December - January and got a fiat mobi. We opted for full coverage insurance. Everything went well and we had no problems with the car.

Everything was easy, from the airport pick-up to the check-in process to the return. EasyWay was recommended to us by our AirBNB host, and we are so glad that she did.

Reading the reviews of rental car companies in Cancun, it seemed like a nightmare experience was inevitable. Hidden insurance costs that stack up to a huge fee, scams to charge extra for repairs, long waits only to find all cars are rented out, fraudulent charges to your card, etc. But a friend recommended Easy Way, and I found them professional and mostly reliable. The cost I was quoted online was exactly what I paid, the delivery came right on time, and the representative was helpful, professional, and bilingual.

There were a few challenges: The website advertises GPSes but the Cancun office doesn't have any available. The rental office in Tulum is closed for renovations and so to return the car I had to meet the representative in a bank's parking lot, which I had trouble finding (but the company didn't charge me for being late to return the car because of that). And it didn't seem like there was great communication between the rental office in Cancun and the return office in Tulum—or maybe the representative who delivered the car to me said he was making note of the existing damage to the car but didn't do so—so I had to show photos I'd taken of the damage when I received the car in order to avoid possibly being charged for it.

Definitely make sure you take photos of any and all damage to the exterior and interior of the car as well as the spare tire in the back at the start of the rental, but otherwise you should be well taken care of with this company.

I've had really good luck here. Great service and reliable. Wouldn't use anyone else as there's a lot of bamboozlers renting cars in Mexico.

Unfortunately, one of the places I parked in Tulum had a series of vandals which scratched several cars one of which was our rental. No problem, Easyways full coverage protection saved the day.
