I used ELR last month and was very happy with their services. Michael attended in person for the initial consultation, Nick came the day before moving day to pack, and Andy K and Mike C carried out the move. They were all punctual, polite and friendly, worked solidly and did a great job. It was a very stressful time but they made it a lot easier. No complaints, I would use them again.

Steve, Wayne, James and CJ were absolutely fantastic removal team from heaven. They all worked tirelessly as a team and nothing was too much trouble, work quality was nothing short of excellent. A resounding 11/10 from me👌

Dave and Connor made our move so stress free. They arrived promptly and immediately reassured us that everything would be fine. Nothing was too much trouble and they made light work of loading the van. This was a move which required a drive down the M25 and the Dartford Crossing, yet Dave and Connor arrived at dad’s flat at exactly the time quoted. Despite having to unload and carry the majority of dad’s belongings up two flights of stairs they both remained cheerful and positive, through a very hot day. One bookcase proved very challenging due to the sharp corners on the stairs and low ceilings but they were determined to get it in for us, and so they did! I cannot recommend the company or these two gentlemen highly enough - they managed to make a very difficult day for a gent in his 80s and two very anxious daughters so much better. Thank you both!

Has a great experience with East London Removals in September 2026. From our first call to get a quote we were impressed with their services. Their prices are reasonable, their communication is clear and they were brilliantly professional. We were really impressed with how they visited our home before giving us a quote so they could be as accurate as possible and explain everything that we needed to know. And on the day of the move the team of James, Vic, Michael, Steven and Terry were incredible. 100% recommend!

Very pleased with the service we received from Billy, Luke C, Micheal and Victor. They got us moved out and in, ahead of time. Nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend!

I couldn't be happier with the removal service I got from Mick and Wayne this weekend. They were friendly, polite and very respectful of my belongings moving them with tremendous care. They worked so hard and got my move done incredibly quickly!

Couldn't recommend East London Removal/Chelmsford Removals enough. James N, Terry, and Tom A were absolute gents from the moment they arrived - really friendly, personable and down to earth guys, which they maintained throughout the day even when they had to go up and down 3 flights of stairs! They ran a very efficient operation, taking really good care with all my possessions. Honestly, they made a stressful day way less stressful, and if I moved again, I would absolutely use these guys. The cherry on the top was Terry recommending the best pubs in the area I just moved to!

After our original removal company cancelled on us, Chelmsford & East London Removals really stepped in and saved the day.

Tom, the surveyor, came round promptly and provided a quote very quickly after the visit, which was really appreciated. The booking process was also simple and stress-free.

A big shoutout to James N, Dean, and Dan P, who made what could have been a very stressful moving day so much easier. They went above and beyond, doing everything we asked and more, which made the whole move run smoothly.

I would highly highly recommend the teams from Southend and Chelmsford removals. Super efficient, professional, friendly and made what could have been a very stressful day a lot easier. That extends from the guys who came and packed up the entire house, to the removal team themselves. They were outstanding particularly as we had to wait a while for the keys and they were still unloading late into the evening. Massive thanks to Andy, Ben, Dan J, Terry and Mick and the two guys who packed up before hand!

The final cost ended up being higher than the original quote. I would have appreciated clearer communication about potential extra charges.

Lee arrived on a day before removal to complete our packing. He was cheerful ,polite and hard working.
