So far been buying Vamelo and GGA reeds. I thought Vamelo had perhaps a longer duration quality and GGA kept a little edge on the quality of the sound. Dudukhouse reeds might be the best reeds so far, really clean build that will probably last as long as Vamelo and the sound has something of a fluid GGA and even from the first reed played from an unknown type when buying my first duduk (could be from dudukhouse). Also the price was in pair with the best deal provided by Vamelo. So far so good !

They shipped my order fast and the duduk is beautiful. I was replacing a less expensive duduk and reed, and the difference in sound is lovely.

Everything was safely put in a rigid cardboard tube. The duduk was in a nice bag made of fabric, separate from the reed. It also came with a handwritten certificate.

The duduk is of very high quality, and since it had a faint smell of cold cigarette I guess it was hand-made. It feels very smooth, the colour is exceptional so the wood must have been carefully selected.

And of course, it makes a very warm sound and it is a delight to play.

Ordered a few (soft) reeds, one of which wasn't working properly, and without asking they sent a new one free of charge!

I wanted to order a Duduk to Norway, and I had some questions. They were very helpful, kind, and responsive during our communication.

Despite the busy month of December my order "Vamelo Cromatto" arrived reasonably quickly in the Netherlands. The duduk is normally in a red suitcase but they arranged for me that it arrived in a beautiful black suitcase. Unfortunately there was a mistake with the reeds. After some correspondence they arranged for me that the makers would send new and the correct reeds. I knew Dudukhouse because they are the only ones who supply great books for duduk, a good company!

The quality of this instrument is undeniable. I was able to produce a beautiful tone almost immediately. And before it arrived I had emailed questions about my order which was responded to promptly. I will order any subsequent products from here alone.

the reed is on it's own level
I have other reeds from well known Armenian masters
but this one is amazing. sound projection and stability
is so good. easier to play half tones for sure.
still needs to be played some more to reach its optimal sound but it's really great already.

I emailed the company as I was concerned the book we had ordered would not arrive in time for Christmas. They got back to me straight away with a friendly email to assure me that it would and that they were printed to order. It arrived in good time just as they had said.

After two weeks I’m still preparing the reed for good us.e The sound is warm and rich but tuning is still difficult. The (basic)reed opening is not on par yet.
The extra tax I have to pay is €21,00. So this is a very expensive reed after all. I hope it works out well in the end.
