I received a gift certificate that I was not suppose to see until Christmas. I saw it in my email and asked about. So I chose a duduk that was on sale in case it wouldn't be at Christmas. But when it arrived, I only got to briefly examine it to make sure it arrived safely. I reluctantly handed it over to be wrapped and opened at Christmas. LOL From what I saw and briefly played, it is far superior to a cheap one I purchased on Etsy. Come on, Santa, deliver the goods LOL

There a some nice melodies in Duduk for beginners. As for me you can skip the pages on music notation. Someone who wants to play the duduk sure has elementary knowledge of that. What I do miss enormously in the book is an extensive explanation of how to handle the reed. What to do to keep it in good shape. Why and how to put tape on the sides. Is it possible or necessary to scrape the reed and make it thinner etc.

Outstanding customer service. I bought my first Duduk (apprehensive because I had never played one) but I received good advice from staff over email. My new Duduk arrived about six days later to the UK.

Duduk is exactly what they said it was, it plays beautifully. I got a tune out of it within a couple of hours. Very happy to order from these guys again.

After a lot of shopping around and one return to scamazon, I found this Duduk site. What an incredible difference having a quality instrument makes on playability! I am completely new to the Duduk and I knew it would be difficult.
The first one I bought from Amazon, I was hardly able to get sound out of the reed and even when I did, the intonation was so off that it sounded terrible. I thought maybe it was just me, but I decided to give it another shot, and I'm really glad I did! The Duduk from Duduk House was a world apart from the Amazon one and I was able to get sound within seconds. I am terrible at playing it, but with the intonation being on point, I'm actually enjoying the practice. Thank you!

I put 4 stars instead of 5 only cause the black série is completely black on the picture on the website and the one i received the cap reed was not black but wood color traditionnal.
But doesn’t change quality, simply i was expecting a complete black signature.
