I like the fact that It’s an all-in-one dna study. I like the fact that i can gain insights through different models. The mtDNA and yDNA are well priced. My only issue with it is, I know for 100% fact that my Y Haplogroup is I1-L258, not I1-Z138 as I am positive for marker rs760079339. Other than that, I think it’s great and I can’t wait to see what they can do after their reference panel gets larger.

The initial countries I think are modern populations. My maternal grandmother was Jewish and they’re the first to have spotted it in my DNA. Even got the right area on the map. I’m in the Western Hemisphere with ancestry here but this company helped me Identify in my DNA what I already knew about my ancestry in the Eastern Hemisphere. I didn’t go in expecting a lot concerning my ancestry here bc most European based companies would naturally focus on the Eastern Hemisphere. I retested with another company and I plan to upload those results as well. I’m retesting bc my initial results from the first company (not DNAgenics) were actually nearly impossible. That’s what led me to try this. Looking forward to future updates. 👍

To few samples from Denmark. It is not possible as a Dane not to have a single match in Denmark but gets lumbed together with Swedes and Norwegians instead

Illegally charging people on a recurring without an order is totally illegal, what we uploaded from 23 and Me with your results was so not worth it, it was like a repeat of what 23 and Me and their results had with a bit of your data. SMH Return my money that you keep recurring without my authorization.

The results are different than Ancestry and others, but little is offered to explain it (outside of "different methodology". Also, the "ancient" ancestry stuff is just a page of boilerplate. No real information.

The report I got was fast and quite accurate for me, but I also discovered something new to continue my research on. That’s a huge advantage they have a lot of tools like DNA Matches, Admixture, where they have lots of calculators to run, and DNA Kit Studio, where you can convert, analyze, compare and combine your raw dna files. I am pretty satisfied with my results and service I got.

I was glad for the re-enforcing data and some new data that supported my experiences with DNA testing. I had a difficult time understanding my results but will spend more time on it at a later date.

Where shall I begin? Either this year or last year, I corresponded with at least one individual from one third party company and I was informed that simply the algorithm or mathematical equations does not work for me in terms of DNA interpretation of ancestral background. Consistently all third party companies either miss a significant part of my genetic ancestry or they add many many ancestries which are simply false. I was told my case is an outlier. I was going to upload my mother's raw DNA file to DNAgenics but after seeing my results, I thought, "why bother?" Of all the reports offered, only one is reasonably accurate, which is the Deep Ancient Current Era Ancestry report. According to the analysis, I and the samples from certain eras "share a similar genetic signature" (the countries listed included DR Congo-well my ancestry doesn't include West Central Africa, but in the same continent- my African side is mixed West African- as well as Spain, Sweden, Italy, and Denmark. My ancestry as confirmed by DNA testing, chromosome painting, and cousin matching and family knowledge include mixed West African, Sicilian, Iberian (both Portugal and Spain, and the British Isles). On a chromosomal level, the segments identified seem to mostly match gedmatch's results. (I have seen many errors on other chromosomal breakdown from other companies which simply misattributes regions, for example, a segment is labelled British and Irish, yet I have found Iberian matches). Now for the funny and outrageous results. According to the Deep modern ancestry report, it claims I and the samples "share a similar genetic signature". The countries listed which make sense include Gambia, Italy, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, United Kingdom, Senegal, France (this makes some sense as the Southern French are genetically similar to Spaniards so I have been told), and Spain. The countries which simply makes no sense and are false include Australia (I am assuming indigenous Australians), Russia, Pakistan, China, and Papua New Guinea! Time after time, many of these third party tools are saying I have Russian, Chinese, Pakistani, Indian and even East African and I have no such background. None of the major commercial companies have EVER assigned these regions. To conclude, I am very disappointed in almost all of the reports and are therefore not useful for my genetic genealogical research.

I came on here to get my coordinates for Global 25. Uploading my autosomal data from a previous DNA test was simple. DNAGenics gave me a coupon code that I could use. My results came in pretty fast. 1-2 hours. I used my coupon code for the Synthetic Global25 Coordinates. I got the Coordinates quickly. I would say within an hour. Overall, it was a simple process.

Dna matches would be helpful. Better breakdowns of ancestry.
