I like the product & the team
The UX to get the requested RAW DNA converted file was a tricky thing to me. I did not succeed to find the converted file in the Dashbord on my own due to non concrete instructions.
However, the Team rushed to support me with that & now I am totally happy, after I succeded to upload and interpret my Raw DNA file to FamilyTreeDna service.

DNA Genics support is excellent! Very clear guidance. In addition, their ability to upload raw DNA data is excellent and then they provide extensive interesting analysis about your results - way more detail than I expected!

Absolut zufrieden!
Als erstes möchte ich den tollen Service erwähnen. Meine Nachrichten wurden immer sehr schnell beantwortet und auch so, dass ich genau wusste, was ich als nächstes machen muss.
Mit der Umwandlung meiner großen Datei von BAM in RAW hat alles einwandfrei funktioniert. Jederzeit wieder!

I’ve been a ged match user for years…
I’ve been a ged match user for years and just recently learned of g25, the concept and effort is awesome , (prices not terrible either ) however both tests Samples from ftdna and ancestry I uploaded , the conservative estimates just lump me at 100 percent of European ,(not remotely true) the intermediate results seem to be most accurate from my years of other research of my ancestry, but I was disappointed with what I paid to not have chromosome painting for the intermediate results. Regardless great project and I think it’s worth people checking this out for sure .

Thank you for your feedback and for trying our G25-based analyses. Different models (such as conservative vs. intermediate estimates) are designed to emphasize different statistical approaches, which can sometimes produce varying interpretations of ancestry.
Regarding chromosome painting, availability depends on the specific analysis model used. We appreciate your feedback and are continually improving the platform and expanding features as new datasets and methods become available.
Ethnicity Diversity
I was impressed with just how much more detailed the calculators are for determining admixture. Being able to fine tune my ethnic background opens up a whole new set of tools in tracing my ancestry.

According to dna genics I had a certain MTHFR mutation which I don't have. I spent a lot of time researching this mutation so that was a big waste of time. They did give me my money back.

As we indicated, our reports are based on your RAW file. We cannot guarantee the quality of the content of the file you upload, since the company you have been tested with may have generated errors in the generation of the file for various reasons, such as genotyping problems or quality controls on your DNA company.
We helped you to resolve the issue and we refunded your second purchase since you purchased the same service twice.

Ethnic definitions are not clear in many admixture and G20 projects. Shared modern ethnicity could contain more subethnic groups and be more representative.

better then many other...
great reports like the "Human Leukocyte Antigen" Report, the "Centromeres and Low Coverage DNA Regions" Report. The Deep Ancient Reports with Samples ar very helpfull to understand all the Results and the own Heritage. I like the Admixture Studio and the powerful G25 Studio. The imputation Service of RAW Files is a great feature too. i miss the DNA Match Service, but i see he will coming soon :)

Interesting algorithm
The company showed to much Scandinavian in my Irish father. The number that I find reasonable is around 10%. Finding Jewish in my mother was interesting though as this is the only test to find it. I wonder how your algorithm is set up to find it. I wonder what the unidentified Asian is meaningful for.

I usually get a little less than a fifth Native American and on my unimputed i get 21%native American and on my imputed results i get 25 +% Native American.....on Ftdna, ancestry DNA, myheritage, living DNA, CRI-genics on all of these companies i get less than a fifth Native American... and I get 80 plus Iberian... because my father was a Spañard from Spain and my mother was from New Mexico and she was mostly Iberian and with some Native American heritage... so I am disappointed because it is a lopsided result... but North Spain is correct 💯

Dnagenics phasing tool
I putted it the middle bc I find the initiative very good but I results very bad. I firstly thought it could be real but after putting parents/phased raw data with mine I could see clearly they aren’t correct
