I had a disappointing experience at this retreat. The space was very unwelcoming and dusty, making it hard to enjoy the beautiful nature surrounding it. The host was unfriendly, which added to the discomfort. If you have allergies, be prepared—bring your Zyrtec, inhaler, nose spray, and eye drops, as the area was covered in allergens. Overall, not a place I'd recommend.

They have nthe worst tour guide ever. I regretted going on a tour with them when we have problem with the police they denied us saying that we are not together. I wish we can give them Zero rating.

Our guide is also a great photographer, he not only helped in finding the perfect location & landscape but also helped in designing the posture for a specific place to get an amazing shot!! Also the food was/ Lunch box simple it was great and the speedboat and all the crew did their job very well. Highly recommend Discovery Komodo Adventure company for your vacation.

My husband and I recently enjoyed the 2-Day Private Tour with Discovery Komodo Adventures for our honeymoon, and we both wished we had booked a longer stay. We were delighted with our guide and driver—they made an excellent team. The tour was flawlessly organized from start to finish. Our guide provided us with captivating insights into life in Flores and attentively catered to our interests, making our honeymoon experience truly special.

Our Discovery Komodo tour was outstanding. The operator expertly managed our group, getting us to each location ahead of the crowds for a much better experience. The snorkeling was amazing, with vibrant coral, sea turtles, and manta rays. Though we didn’t see the whale sharks up close, the four guides for our twelve-person group provided exceptional support. This tour exceeded expectations and is a must-do for anyone’s bucket list.

The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome and cared for throughout the journey. I recently booked a trip with Discovery Komodo, and I was very happy with their service. They were friendly, helpful, and took care of everything for me. The trip was well-organized, and I got to see incredible places with them, including beautiful landscapes and unique wildlife.I highly recommend Discovery Komodo if you want a great travel experience. The experiences were fantastic. Snorkeling, hiking, dragons, sunsets, etc.
The boat did not match the pictures. It was much older and not in best of shape. Couch and lounge cushions were all badly stained and had cigarette burns. The towels were all very worn and there were not enough for a 5 day sail. We had to ask crew to clean decks as they got very slippery after snorkel and sunscreen. We would generally expect bathrooms and common areas to be cleaned when we were on our 2-3 hour excursions, but they were only done when we specifically asked. The boat ran out of water on day 4, which should have been expected given our longer then normal 5 day vs 3 day sail. Staff constantly smoked inside and outside and while we realize it’s cultural, we always choose to go places that are non-smoking. Overall, Food was good. Staff was friendly. Captain did a good job on one occasion that sea got rough. Overall the excursions made up for shortcomings of boat, but the opportunity to make the boat experience better was missed.
