TL;DR:
-Good and fast support;
-Good server interface;
-Server setup wasn't instant. It seems they don't have it automated as it took a few hours for my server to come online;
-Server performance was bad and it was unable to handle 1.13 Vanilla in a fresh world with only 1 online player. Support claimed it was due to Vanilla being poorly optimized, but the same server ran fine on Realms and on my new host (one I rented after this one and used same settings I had on DeluxeNode). Spigot improved server performance, but still not perfect. All this led me to believe that the hardware may be under heavy usage or that you may have "just enough resources" to run your server. I didn't press the issue any further with support - since the first answer was for me to wait out until PaperMC released - and decided to simply change to another hosting company and everything is smooth now;
-Due to a responsive support, I would try them out again in the future. They've seemed to run out of stock shortly after I purchased my server with them, so maybe the servers were crammed at the time of my renting.

Full story:
When 1.13 was released, I decided to create a fresh world to play with my GF and the occasional friends. Due to the limitations of Realms, I've decided to set up a new private paid server where I could bypass it's limitations, like the server rendering distance config.

I specifically came to this hosting company because of all of the good reviews here specifically stating that the servers are great. I however, did not experience this. The support, however, was good and fast, and they partially resolved my issue - even the partial was because I kept pressing the issue and asking for solutions.

I still have a download of the last world I had when I switched from Realms to DeluxeNode and started having the server performance issues. We had just started, so we basically had nothing. We had a cow farm with about 28 crammed cows and a monster trap about 16 chunks away from my base (none of which were a problem on Realms, my future hosting company server and my local computer).

On contacting the support about the issues, their first response was that the "Vanilla Minecraft servers are still poorly optimized" and that I should wait for them to announce when PaperMC (alternative more optimized server) got released and that should fix my issue.

I am not a person that complains for the occasional lag here and there, however, it was hard to enjoy the game as the server was performing poorly and, once I reached The End (and got disconnected after entering it), I decided to try to resolve this before dying on the Void due to lag. Some of the issues I was experiencing with the Vanilla 1.13 server:

-Frequent "An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host";
-Random but frequent "Can't keep up! ..." which usually led to several successive disconnections;
-Random disconnections being unable to reconnect for a few minutes;
-Random lag spikes;
-Not being able to stay AFK on the server overnight. When I woke up the next day I had generally been disconnected.

I asked again to support if nothing could be done and they suggested that I install Spigot, that solved the "Can't keep up! ..." issues and the server became much more stable with only the disconnects and lag spikes here and there.

Overall, good and fast support, but in my experience the server couldn't really handle anything when I rented it. All this led me to believe that the hardware may be under heavy usage or that you may have "just enough resources" to run your server - maybe it was crammed. I didn't press the issue any further with support (even though they told me to let them know of the results - which I did) and decided to move on to another host and everything is running smooth now.

Honestly , dont think I could have gone with a better host. Especially at the price point they offer!

My plan : Minecraft Enterprise : Silver. 21 Euro/month for 6gb ram , 4 Shared vCores , 15gb NVMe SSD (They can give more storage if you need it) , 1GBit/s bandwidth and 1660 Gbps DDos protection.

Server sheer performance : 9.5/10 (I had to a 150k sphere of tnt in order to decrease the tps , even then commands ran instantly.)
They also run these servers on cpu's with higher clock speed than most other hosts! (Ryzen 2700X @ 4.5GHz for normal plans and AMD Threadripper 1900x @ 4.6GHz for Enterprise)

Server support : 10/10 , I asked for more storage and they gave me 15gb for free! (My plan comes with 15gb so thats already 2x more) and I am sure that they would still give me a little more if I really needed it (Within reasonable amounts of course , also subject to the node's available storage , and they respond within minutes sometimes! (if they are asleep , usually in less than 12 hours at the very most.) never come across support this great.

Panel : 7/10 , The panel looks and runs faster than most panels but still lacks a few features (Most notably the ability to check storage without having to use essentials and restarting the server.) but they are still working on it and hopefully will be much better , honestly thats about the only thing I can complain about and its still above-average. ( I will change the rating when they roll out updates for the panel)

Pricing : 10/10 , Amazing performance , even better support and an above-average panel for.... 1 Euro/GB or ~3.5 Euro/GB w/ Enterprise plans, judging from other reviews the normal plans seem to be almost just as quick and amazing as the Enterprise. This server runs better than the beastnode premium server I had and was paying nearly double for! (The beastnode server crashed right around the 80k tnt sphere point , yes thats how I test servers) The main difference between Enterprise and Standard plans were that Enterprise had less people on each node , though the standard plans arent oversold at all and are still just as quick as the Enterprise.

Never in my life have I come across a host thats as honest , affordable and powerful as Deluxenode. They dont oversell , their CPU's are faster than most on the market , their support team is amazing and will help you overcome any obstacle and they dont ask for $10/gb (Unlike some hosts that DO and still OVERSELL)

11/10 Would recommend to who wants to run a minecraft server.

If you want to host a server , don't be afraid to go with Deluxenode.

Servers are great, fast and great support! But they ran out of servers so i am not very impressed with that factor. Overall a great service! (When they have it!)

I had a lot of trouble migrating my server to DeluxeNode. The worldmap had to be migrated a few times and they just helped me without any signs of being annoyed. The server is running really smoothly, although I pay more a month, but that's really worth it!

Great host! I use the lowest plan of the Enterprise Minecraft section. They have fast support and good servers. I had an issue with corrupt chunks and it was fixed within 15 minutes! That's insane response time in comparison to my old host which took 24-48 hours to respond. Then a few days to fix the issue.

Most of my players are in the United States and the server is hosted in Europe which you would think would cause terrible lag but it only gives a slight difference.

I definitely recommend!

Update: Some players do have connection issues / lag and some don't. I am one of the people that lives furthest from where it is hosted and yet I have better connection than some of my players. Thus not entirely sure why they are lagging after we switched to DeluxeNode. However, I do still recommend the host if you can look past the change in ping (if you live in US).

I've seen and been through many hosting companies and this is one of the very few who have direct support. They are very to quick to solve or help with any type of issues and the server's performance is better than advertised!

Deluxe Node is a brilliant hosting provider. They provide minecraft servers, virtual servers and web hosting.

They're extremely cheap for what they have to offer. Plenty of other hosting providers are overpriced and don't even have good support or even good systems.

When I bought web hosting. I uploaded my web files and everything was working. If you buy a domain name however. You need to update your nameservers. I had a few issues with the name servers but I went to support and literally immediately got a response and my issues was sorted.

If I were you, I would not even think about going to another hosting provider as this one is the best I have seen:
