Altro sito di hosting, altro problema.
Ho deciso di acquistare (noleggiare) un server di hosting per Minecraft Bedrock edition (smartphone/windows 10).
Da subito ho riscontrato alcuni problemi con i pagamenti, cliccando paypal mi permetteva di fare solamente abbonamenti e non singolo acquisto.
Ho fatto l'acquisto ed ho poi cancellato l'abbonamento da paypal.
Ho poi avviato il server il che' ha iniziato a dare un po di problemi vari mentre giocavo.
Alcuni problemi di gioco, altri di lag (connesione).
In particolare: alterazione velocita' giocatori, alterazione fov, lag durante lavorazione di alcuni oggetti. Inoltre i "mob" (entita' che i giocatori devono uccidere per sopravviere non nascevano).
Quest'ultimo dei problemi si e' rivelato * un problema del server (serviva un estensione (plugin) per far nascere le entita'.

Cio' che mi ha portato a fare la contestazione e' il modo in cui il servizio clienti funziona.

Eccessivamente lenti nelle risposte, ogni volta mi toccava dover descrivere da zero il problema e, come risposta all'enesima domanda sul perche' la velocita' dei player fosse aumentata mi son sentito dire: "Non c'era nulla da dire a riguardo"
Ma davvero? Uno ha un problema e rispondete cosi? "non abbiamo nulla da dire?"
Dopo aver lamentato problematiche con il server e lentezza dell'assistenza loro mi han risposto con:
"Se continui, Spostero' questo ticket nella coda a bassa priorita' e ci mettero piu' ore del necessario per finire"
"Nessuno ti sta forzando ad usare i nostri servizi"
Benissimo, ormai innervosito dalla questione e dopo averlo scritto sul loro discord (app d'assistenza alternativa) ho chiesto un rimborso.
Subito dopo mi hanno bannato (bloccato) dal loro sito di assistenza alterntivo
Leggendo le recensioni su trust pilot, anche un altro ragazzo ha fatto la contestazione per lo stesso motivo (lentezza dell'assistenza)

Downtime is unbelievable, Servers and web hosts.
They locked their discord and shut down their website when some of their servers stopped working so no one can criticize them.
It's nearly a scam, DO NOT work with them, Even the worst host you can find on Google is better than these guys.

I highly recommend it, I use it for ShareX and I've not seen speeds beat it so far.
Uploaded photos almost always upload in 1.3~ seconds versus gyazo's 4 seconds~.

Don't go with Deploys.io, owned by 17/18 year old, The commands (apt..) take days to display on the console, uncommanded disconnection, long reinstallation, random bandwidth, logically in SSD I find myself with an HDD of 60 GB with poor performance.
The founder boasts that his services are superior to those of OVH, for example.
But it would nevertheless seem that OVH remains leader in the market and clearly above in terms of quality, I have just verified it, having several years experience on Linux and server management. I think I know the field at a minimum.
Moreover, the company is very recent, probably while waiting for the transition to the majority of the founder (1 year.)
Although they praise the expertise of servers and the novelty of equipment, it seems that OVH is always in the lead and clearly competitive in terms of server quality. I am on a VPS, the Game 4 precisely, I suspect that I do not have all the power of the machine, which is logical for a VM, but it is difficult for me to know which processor we have, since we are on a virtual machine. Just like the promises of the SSD disk, the processor may not be the right one, at least a low-end processor.
Concerning the CPU, It was 50% constant, after a new reinstallation of the machine, no process, absolutely nothing. Little concern of virtualization?
The Discord support is reactive, but unprofessional to be sincere, we have the impression of talking to friends of the counter, with the respect that goes with it. Not amazing for a service said professional to go through a Discord, yes it allows to discuss in real time, but I prefer a more formal and serious way, tickets for example and very long support as say the majority
I noticed with amazement on her discord, on the other opinions, tons of positive emojis for the corresponding opinions and a kind of tarp for the negatives. It is absolutely unspeakable.
And also, they remove too negatives opinions, censuring discord..
Nevertheless, I must admit that in the rare periods of server stability, with a good internet connection and a mastery of Linux for years, the performances are present. I have to say it.
But the bandwidth the ping-pong server, the recent appearance of the company (I suppose for the majority of the founder), the HDD disk and a potential instability, I do not recommend this host, at least for the moment.
Oh and also, like others, my Minecraft server brutally crashed, with no reason. All is fine on other hosting (Online.net, OVH and others..)
The connection what interrupted brutally, with 1.14.2 version and Paperspigot well-optimized, with absoluty nothing on the server, just my Minecraft server, good for the players...

Je viens à l'instant de le tester, avec un serveur VPS Game-4, je vais éviter de recopier le gros pavé formulé à leur égard. Pour faire simple, l'hébergement est très récent, le disque SSD indiqué sur la page est en réalité un disque HDD de 60 GO avec des performances minables.
La bande-passante joue au ping-pong, des crashs, des instabilités (bien qu'étant habitué à Linux depuis des années) et le ping s'envole au Niagara, avec une bonne connexion fibre Orange, l'Allemagne et la France sont pourtant bien reliés.
Il n'y avait rien sur la machine, le processeur était à 50%, sans aucun processus après une réinstallation, absolument rien. Puis, intervient le crash de mon serveur de jeu, la connexion est brutalement interrompue, le néant.
Le fondateur de l'hébergeur vient tout juste d'avoir 18 ans, l'entreprise n'existe que depuis 1 an, (sans doute pour attendre le passage à la majorité du fondateur.) ils n'ont encore que peu d'expérience dans le domaine, raison de plus.
Le support via Discord n'est pas professionnel, nous avons l'impression de parler à des amis de beuveries, avec le respect qui va avec. Je préfère une méthode plus conventionnelle par ticket, et de ce côté, ils sont plutôt lents.
Nous ne savons rien d'autre concernant le datacenter, les équipements et j'en passe.
Il y a une zone d'ombre sur tout cela, sans compter que le support Discord supprime volontairement les avis trop négatifs, une forme de censure apparente. (Ou des petits smileys moqueurs..)
Je n'ai pas pu tester la protection DDos, mais de là à concurrencer l'Anti-DDos Game..
Brefouille, il n'existe effectivement aucun autre hébergeur en France qui propose le même genre de service, je vais rester encore un peu avec mon chouchou OVH.

I had a lot of issues with random timeouts (down time),and the bandwidth 1TB limit is hidden (i can't find anyting on website about this). I can not recommend this hosting..

Cheap and reliable but importing files is tedious.
Honestly it's cheap and reliable. The only issue is that it's tedious to import files when you've already created a server before. Otherwhise it's easy to drag everything file by file.

You can not force a positive image
Second Edit: After first pretending to reach out to me out of customer care, they have now after months decided to flag my review falsely as a false review. I am sending Trustpilot the necessary proof to get this reinstated. Do NOT let this company get away with censorship.
Edit: I have marked edited parts of the review with [] to clarify some things they responded to - I do not wish to further engage this personally as I've since found a service I am more happy with and their response time was rather slow last time, so to anyone reading the review, take their will to communicate for what it's worth.
Deploys.io is very clearly an ambitious startup.
Their web presence is one of the best I have ever seen which prompted me to give them a try to begin with. Unfortunately, a fancy bootstrap 4 page isn't everything in server hosting.
In terms of pricing, Deploys.io are very cheap in the VPS area as well as the web area.
However, with Deploys,io, the devil is in the details.
First of all, 1000 GB is [very low in today's standards. They indeed do not claim unlimited bandwidth but also do not further specify on their promotion page up until purchase point where the limit is in fact mentioned in rather small text.] Deploys.io seems to be more focused on small personal servers rather than businesses so this is not entirely unreasonable, but it is still [questionable] marketing.
Their web-presence also tends to fall apart as soon as they bring in 3rd party web interfaces that are in stark contrast to their own web presence, there is also some missing icons that don't really help with looking professional. [When cancelling a service and during booking, PayPal also mentions a personal name rather than company name, and it looks like payment is only cancelled manually upon request,] which just doesn't look good.
They also have their server cluster set up in a way where manually setting up an SSL certificate seems impossible, because the server already has some wrong certificate from a "cPanel" from their site. [According to their response they automatically generate SSL certificates which is fair enough, but really just a headache if you want to deploy your own certificate, especially since I've not seen this mentioned on their promotion page nor the client area personally. This method] disallows me to set up some of the stuff I would usually be able to set up (e.g. a GitLab instance) [at least until their service updates itself - and unless you can manually change the certificate it is also quite the pain if you actually have a paid certificate by another CA]
In terms of product and service I would probably give Deploys.io 2.5 stars.
The real reason I am giving them one star is because of their team.
First of all, the support, while savvy, is slow. It is very slow through their tickets, and they also have a discord server with a ticket system, which is, however, also slow and inconsistent. You may wait 2 days for a one-line response, post a follow up question within minutes, and go unanswered for another day. All the while you can see clearly underage people arguing in their general chat, ridiculing each other, it's quite the watch.
You may see their very positive trustpilot score which they flaunt quite a lot. The main reason I have decided to give them 1 star is that they actively censor trustpilot reviews. You can see this by simple going through other reviews and their report responses. This is not a correct way to deal with negative feedback and together with my bad support experience and slightly disingenous marketing is why I am giving them one star.
Hopefully Deploys.io will be able to raise their service to the level that their web presence promises at first.

Please Read Review before judging! (Updated)
Update: While the below statement remains true still, they've been speeding up their reply times, and have become more available. Their service still remains at the top of my recommendations, and I will vigorously tell everyone who needs something server based to be in contact with this team.
Overall, the products they offer, the service, the user interface, and many more features are wonderful, intuitive, and overly simplified and easy to navigate. A 10 year old could do it!
While the service provided, and many more of the aforementioned features are wonderful, the customer support is lacking, but let me go a bit more in-depth.
When they help with a problem, it goes by incredibly fast. The problem is how long they take *to* help with the problem. They will take hours, and days to respond to one message, or several of. This however, does not necessarily diminish the value of their products, or services. When there are no issues from the customer side, or managing the server, (again, mostly customer side) that require immediate, or at least relatively fast answers/help, the company maintains a high 5/5 review. However, the review I am placing is due to the lackluster support offered to the customers. As any company they are obviously very busy, but having to wait to solve any type of issue, (especially monetary) for several days for a clear response is not worth a 5/5 review. Needless to say, the support I've gotten, and the service they provide are of the best quality I've had. But the customer service is a definite down-side to this project. Hopefully they will become quicker with help, or at the very least use some sort of automated system to quicken the pace of some of the issues. Honestly, great service! :)
