I contacted Daewoo last week regarding a faulty product …

I contacted Daewoo last week regarding a fault with my air fryer . They responded within 24 hours of my initial email . After corresponding a couple of times regarding my issue , Daewoo have kindly replaced my faulty air fryer with a brand new one. Their customer service is absolutely excellent and I would have no hesitation in buying or recommending Daewoo products to anyone

Excellent item and great value

Excellent item and great value. Much prefer it to my airfryer.....does more(large pizza for a start) efficient and easy to clean. LOVE IT!

Had an email to say that this heater…

Had an email to say that this heater was now in stock after waiting some months. Heater delivered but had a fault. Contacted Daewoo who said they would replace item. Short time after received another email saying they didn't have any more stock what a shambles.

Ignored by Customer Service with the Fridge Freezer Response

I bought a steam mop from Daewoo, registered the extended warranty and then needed to claim. I jumped through all the hoops of photos and video evidence. The replacement seemed to have been issued and finally I get tracking details from Evri. Evri are supposed to make three delivery attempts. From the photo with the first attempt it is unclear if they were at my property and part of my address was missing on the label, so Daewoo didn't address it properly. They made a second attempt which failed also. On each occasion Evri asked for contact from me and new instructions which I followed. For the 2nd attempt, I gave instructions which would facilitate delivery for the third attempt. Instead of doing the third attempt, the courier's manager told her to reject the parcel. I know this because she came to deliver another parcel for me, from a different company, the next day after the 2nd attempt. She gave excuses about my phone number not working and tried to claim 3 attempts had been made. Evri in an automated message say I asked for the parcel to be returned which is a blatant lie. Now I am emailing Daewoo about this, asking what they will do to fix this and all I get from them is an auto-generated response titled "Your Daewoo Fridge Freezer Query" directing me to an affiliate and saying the matter is closed. Each response has a new ticket number, completely unrelated to the ticket number my claim is under. I am so angry with both companies. I needed that steam mop urgently in relation to health reasons. I will never buy from Daewoo again and you shouldn't either. Incase they actually respond to this, which they probably won't, the ticket number is 226337. Daewoo, are you going to redeliver my replacement steam mop, which is now on it's way back to you, or are you going to continue ignoring me, cluttering up my inbox with rubbish about fridge freezers?

I will come back and update this.

Fantastic Service

I must commend Daewoo for their fantastic customer service. When our vacuum cleaner stopped working after 13 months I contacted them. They immediately arranged for a replacement cleaner to be sent. Fortunately I had extended the warranty on line but , even so, I did not expect such first rate service. Thank you.

Uneconomical with the Truth.

Further to your reply to my review. You stated that Extended Warranty can only be done by EMail or Post. I told you I sent the EW back and it must have got lost in the Post. As a Company you now also lie about how your EW Works. People think again about buying from this untrustworthy Company. This is how this Company treats Pensioner's. I PROVIDED YOU WITH PROOF OF PURCHASE SO PLEASE HONOUR YOUR PROMISE.

We have done a full manual check of all warranties from the purchase date and an additional 4 weeks prior / after this date but unable to locate any correspondance.
Please note no warranty card is required to register the product as one is not supplied we simply need the proof of purchase and your address / email address ?
We offer a free extended Guarantee which is in addition to your statutory rights however this is down to each individual customer on whether they decide to take this out as to the terms provided in the instruction manual that came with the appliance and on the artwork.

There was a fair bit of choice available and also payment options to suite everyone's budget which to be honest was actually an added bonus. The items came sooner than expected too so was well impressed and will definitely shop again with Daewoo

Replacement air fryer

Short-lived kettle

I bought a Daewoo stainless steel kettle (model SDA1167) around a year ago and was initially delighted with it – fast-boiling, easy to fill and comfortable to pour from. A couple of weeks ago, though, it became apparent that one side of the hinge attaching the pop-up lid had failed. It's still usable (just) but now very awkward to open and close.
It had never been dropped or strained. The thin plastic strut on one side has just let go with no provocation. There really can be no excuse for this – it can only be the result of poor design and/or materials.
I would have taken it back to the retailer (which I'm pretty sure was Robert Dyas in Bromley) but I can find no trace of my receipt or any other proof of purchase. I guess I'll just have to put it down to experience and avoid the brand in future…
[EDIT] NB The kettle was bought shortly after the chaos of a house move. I may well have registered it under the maker's warranty scheme but any record of this has also been mislaid.
Since posting this review I have replaced the defective Daiwoo item with a Bosch product, with which I am so far entirely satisfied…
