Don’t use this company!!!
If giving this company less than one star was an option I would. I ordered a watch in August. They took my money straight away. A month later the watch still hadn’t arrived. I contacted the company and, after two emails, the response I got was that the watch was on the way to them and they should have an expected delivery date soon. Another week goes by, still no update and still no watch. I contacted them again and was told that “I can see that at the time of your order we did not have this item in stock and that is why the delivery date is labelled: Call us”. Now, a week before they’d told me it was on the way and now an email saying this. Why sell a watch if you don’t have it to sell? At this point I start looking elsewhere and see on every other website the watch is marked as sold out. At the start of October I request another update and was told that they would expedite my order. Another week goes by and no watch. So, I requested a refund. I was told that this would be processed and I would be refunded within ten working days. It’s been ten working days, and I still haven’t had a refund. Why sell a watch and take payment when you don’t have it? Why not mark it as out of stock?!! Why not say expected delivery date is four to five months?!! And why do o have to continuously chase you to get my money back for a product that you didn’t provide. My husband loves watches and this was an expensive watch. I wouldn’t ever buy from your company again, or your sister company Jura, and would reccomend other customers to look elsewhere. What a completely rubbish customer experience.
Appalling customer service
Placed an order for a Barrington 4 watch winder, for 10 days we kept being told it was en-route from Barrington direct but when we called Barrington they said it hadn’t been despatched as they hadn’t received the monies from CW Sellor. When confronted with this we were told that couldn’t be case but they would look into it. Needless to say we cancelled the order for a full refund and haven’t heard a word from CW Sellor. Don’t buy from this company.

I canceled the order because of your promises, you promised that I would receive the watch within 2 weeks and after 3 weeks I did not receive any notification. I called you and you said that it is not known when I will receive the watch. I canceled the order on June 11, you promised a refund within 7-10 days. Today is the day. On the 13th day I did not receive the money. I will report the matter to Obusmand and my bank about fraud on your part. I have read hundreds of negative opinions about your store and costumer service, I am shocked how many people write negative opinions. Don't give people's money back and you don't send items on time but Today I will report the fraud to the bank and Obusmand about the fraud you are doing. do not buy items from them, they cheat people with orders and refunds. A Nightmare Experience with C.W. Sellors - Avoid at All Costs

I purchased an Oris watch from C.W. Sellors on July 30, 2023, and what followed was an infuriating and utterly unacceptable experience that has completely shattered any trust I had in this company.
Upon receiving the watch on August 1, 2023, I noticed that the warranty card provided did not match the serial number on the watch. This discrepancy became evident when I tried to register the watch on the Oris portal for an extended warranty, only to find out that the serial numbers did not match.
From that point on, I embarked on a nightmarish journey with C.W. Sellors' so-called customer service. I contacted them multiple times through emails and web chats, and they kept replying without addressing the issue until February 16, 2024, seemingly just to buy time, hoping that I might give up the chase. After that date, I was met with complete silence until I approached V12 Finance. This level of unresponsiveness is beyond unacceptable for any business, let alone one that claims to specialize in luxury items.
Throughout this ordeal, I was in contact with several C.W. Sellors staff members who repeatedly fobbed me off and replied without addressing the issue or my request. The staff I contacted via email included Jxxk (alias Jxxk P), Exxa, Hxxy, and Lxxh. During web chat sessions, I interacted with Hxxxxxt and Jxxk (alias Jxxk P). Even after escalating the matter to their managers and head office, I received no response, which is disgraceful. I also tried using their website's returns query form, but did not even receive an automated acknowledgment, let alone a contact from their team.
The incorrect warranty card provided with the watch represents a blatant breach of contract under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which mandates that goods supplied must be as described at the time of delivery. The mismatched warranty documentation completely undermines the authenticity and integrity of the watch.
To make matters worse, on April 29, 2024, I discovered that someone had deviously activated the warranty on the Oris portal using my watch's serial number without my consent. This suspicious activity raises serious concerns about my privacy and the integrity of C.W. Sellors' operations.
Only after escalating the matter with V12 Finance and informing them that I was prepared to take legal action did C.W. Sellors finally decide to obtain a duplicate warranty card and send it to me to save their skin. Despite finally receiving the correct warranty card on May 16, 2024, the extreme delay and the painful process have left me thoroughly dissatisfied.
Despite numerous negative reviews online about C.W. Sellors, especially concerning products in their sales section being dodgy, such as customer returns or items missing parts, I decided to take the risk. Unfortunately, I paid dearly with my time and stress over nine months. C.W. Sellors seems determined to flog their dodgy items onto customers and make it extremely difficult to return them. I regret not using my credit card, which would have allowed me to leverage Section 75 for a refund.
Despite all this agony, C.W. Sellors showed no remorse or any sort of acceptance of their mistakes. There were no true apologies or gestures of goodwill to make amends for the distress caused. Their behaviour was disgraceful and unprofessional at every turn.
I urge potential customers to stay far away from C.W. Sellors and consider other reputable dealers before making a purchase. This company trades under various website names, so be cautious and do your research. My experience with C.W. Sellors has been nothing short of a nightmare. Their abysmal customer service, lack of timely communication, and failure to promptly address a clear breach of contract are unacceptable. Despite paying for the watch, I was unable to wear it for nine months because the whole situation seemed dodgy. This company is a disgrace to the industry, and my experience has been an utter disaster from start to finish.
Junghans Mega Force Watch
Purchased a new Junghans all ceramic Mega Force Watch, I suffer from a skin allergy and this would be ideal for my condition, lovely watch. I needed to remove a link from the band and found foreign contamination between the links, could this watch be a customer return or a shop soil, I will never know.
Worst experience ever
Worst experience ever! Ordered a bracelet for my birthday and has been told that delivery will take place 3-4 weeks. As soon as I paid for the item I received an email saying that it will take 2.5 months to deliver my order! I contacted them numerous times but they ignore all the messages! I still haven’t received my item. Never buy from this place! It’s a scam!

I had an item left in the basket and radomly had a call next day from the CW Sellors asking me about the item I had left in my basket and then offered to discount the watch which was around £600, to be fair if I got the watch as expected be no issue with that, however i was under the impression they had the watch in stock as I paid for next day delivery but it ended up being an item to call for delivery which the lady whonsold me the watch never advised, so they just want your money.
The customer support team also made the buying experience into my first automatic watch such a bad experience but after being prepared to wait a further 10 days, I heard nothing, it was always myself chasing and emailing, they never gave me an update on my order or replied to my emails, they simply didnt know where my watch was or when i would be getting it and then finally after a month of nothing I requested my money back which again never had a reply to my email and had to chase this up.
I did also make a formal compaint in writing but again didnt even bother replying. I ended up getting the same watch at Ernest Jones Hemstead Valley for the same money, and was able to get watch same day and the staff there where brilliant.

C W Sellors who refused to take it back because they claimed there were signs of wear. The watch has not been worn other than trying it on once.

Extremely disappointed with my recent experience with CW Sellors. I purchased an expensive watch which unfortunately did not fit well. I was well within the return window and I promptly returned the item with their provided authorisation no. However, despite wearing the watch for only two mins to test the fit, they refused to issue a refund, claiming there are scratches and fingerprints on the watch. It’s concerning to see how other buyers have also faced similar issues with returns. DO NOT purchase from this seller as their return policy seems unreasonable and unfair.
Poor customer service and distribution
I have had other items from them in the past and never had an issue, in fact they have sent things very quickly. However, this was a very different experience; I ordered a Georg Jensen ring in the sale, which the website said was in stock. Within days I had an email to say it was out of stock and would be 3-4 weeks. I waited and then started emailing and calling, I was told it was 'in transit' after multiple phone calls someone actually looked into and realised it was missing in a delivery from GJ. I then waited whilst they tried to find out when it would arrive and chased as no one called me back. Eventually offered an alternative ring at an additional cost, which I paid and they promised to send it next day delivery. 3 days later I chased, hadn't been sent. Promised next delivery again. 3 days later it turned up. It was the wrong ring. I sent it back, they promised to send the right ring on receipt. They didn't, so it went out of stock again. Eventually I asked for a refund, which to be fair they did straight away. Over the entire 4 month period I did all the chasing, not once was a phone call returned and only once was a promised email sent.
Take order & money for items they don’t have!! …
Ordered a Georg Jensen ring in the sale and heard nothing. Rang and checked on order a few days later and was told they were sourcing from one of their stores. A further week/ ten days went by and I rang again. Told the ring was on order from Georg Jensen. Another week passed and no ring so contacted again. Told the ring was discontinued and would I choose something else instead. I said no refund please! I’ve now had another email asking if I want a refund!! Again I said yes asap you’ve had my money long enough! Still no refund.
Please avoid I will be raising a dispute with Mastercard if no refund by Monday. They’ve had my money weeks and comms terrible. Never again!

Im shocked how this awful company are still in business. Discussting business practice. I returned an item to them and they denied me a refund claiming it had wear marks on it. When i didn't even take any plastic of it. I notice other customers have complained about the exact same thing. I've now reported the issue to my payment provided. I would highly suggest you think twice before giving them your hard earned money. There customer service is simply dreadful.

DON’ USE THIS COMPANY (C W Sellors/ W Hammond). I just wish I had read the reviews before I bought from them. I bought a watch that upon trying it on found the face looked too large on my small wrist so under their 30 days returns policy I posted it back to them the next dayfor a refund. A few days later I received an email from them to say the watch had evidence of being worn, was scratched and had sweat particles on it, therefore they would not be issuing a refund, they sent the watch back to me so I took it to my local jewellers who looked through his magnifying glass and said there was no evidence that it had been worn and the scratched shown on Sellors photos they sent me were not to be found on this watch. I have now contacted PayPal who are looking into it for me 🤞Next step Trading Standards, I will not give up we are OAP’s and £199.50 is a lot of money for us. Hope my post saves somebody else from making the same mistake

My wife’s expensive watch stopped working so they collected it for repair approximately 12 months after purchase.Watched fixed after a month so I contacted them via email & phone for delivery…waited in all day surprised when watch not delivered.Spoke to them via phone explaining if it’s not delivered on my specific date next time I would like a full refund , there member of staff told me I wasn’t entitled to a full refund. I emailed again giving them another chance to deliver the watch ….Shocked when the watch wasn’t delivered a second time . Stay well away from using this company. The staff are incompetent the service they provide is terrible.

Only giving two star as lady from customer care team who gave refund was lovely. After three weeks of waiting for the delivery of a Clogau ring and (after chasing) two weeks of not being told ring was out of stock. Then two weeks of being told I would get a refund and being told it was the banks delay, I wasn’t a happy bunny. Need to do much better as a company if you want to survive these tough times.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.........Bought my husband a Clogau wedding ring in 2021, the ring broke a few months later, Clogau issued a replacement which again broke within 3 months, told them I wanted a refund as per my statutory rights but they have told me that I need to wait to see what Clogau say...sale of contract with Sellors & not Clogau. Issued a final refund letter as been going on months now but still not received refund within time period in letter so looks like taking them to a small claims court. Shocking customer service, this is my husbands wedding ring, I thought I would support a local business, how wrong was I
