I’m really impressed with the new…
I’m really impressed with the new shower head. I live in a very hard water area and the water is definitely softer, I noticed a difference to my hair and skin the 1st time I used it.

Much better design than others I've tried. Easier to change the filter, no leaking and better water flow.
Its too early to comment on the benefits yet as I haven't had it long but so far I'm really pleased with it. After trying multiple alternatives, all of which had issues with water flow or leaking, this is already a massive improvement.

Great products & Amazing Customer Service
I had a small issue with my order, and I can’t fault the customer service from Curo Skin. The team responded incredibly quickly, were genuinely helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Everything was sorted out straight away, and they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy.

This company is ok until you have…
This company is ok until you have issues with the shower head/filter. I’ve been using this shower head and filter for a while now and it’s been great but the last filter I received was dodgy , only used a few times and the limescale was present from the off compared
To the previous filters I had. I mentioned this to Curo and rather than just taking ownership, they’ve somehow flipped it on me. Yes the waters hard but the first few filters I used did well in filtering. The last one did not. I’ve also been a subscriber, what would have been great to hear was “hey not to worry we’ll send you out a new filter you can try” but instead blame my end. This brand is only good UNTIL it goes wrong. Be aware of this.

I have to say, for you to have interpreted my email as us not taking any ownership and trying to flip this on you is disappointing to be honest.
In our first email I offered you a new faceplate to get around the issue in the short-term and meant you didn’t have to look at the build-up every morning, and asked you to soak the faceplate it in a water/vinegar combination and let us know whether it comes back or not after giving it a clean.
You could well find that this could be 6-months of limescale finally showing itself, which is why I offered the new faceplate and asked you to clean the current one to investigate for us. It could also be that what you said was correct, and for whatever reason the most recent filter hasn’t softened the water as much as the first two, but there’s no way of knowing this without carrying out the steps that I sent across.
Because I haven’t sent you a new filter out immediately you’ve left a 1* review to tell people they need to ‘be aware of us’ as a business. I put hours into the customer service of Curo despite running this company by myself, even responding to you at 9:58pm the evening of your initial email.
If someone hates our product and truly feels like it’s worthy of a 1* then I can accept that, but having previously left us a positive review (which you’ve said you're now taking back), to leave us a 1* star because you never got a filter immediately is just sad on all accounts to be honest...
As I said on our email; we are more than happy to work through this with you to investigate, so do let us know if you wish to continue and we’ll see if we can discover the cause of the issue.

Big improvement on my hard UK water
I know it works when my soap lathers better and my skin doesn't immediately go dry when I get out of the shower. My shampoo and conditioner last longer.
While it doesn't make my water the softest I've ever experienced, it's still genuinely making a big difference, big enough that I'll remain a customer. I also love not having to remember when to change the filter because it arrives every 3 months!

I have put off writing a review for approx 4 months now but the obsessive mailing list keeps asking me for one so here it is.
Pros:
There is a noticeable improvement in the pressure and spray of the shower with this design of showerhead. It is 100% above and beyond what we had before and makes for a more luxurious showering experience.
Cons:
I have seen very limited improvement in the quality of my skin and believe strongly that the issues I face may be related to the hardness of the water and not the specific minerals that Curio claims to remove. Curio is not a water softener and does not claim to be - however its broad claims that it does wonders for eczema prone skin are somewhat unfounded in my first person experience.
I commend them on their successful marketing and branding.

Firstly, I'm really pleased to hear that you've noticed a significant improvement in the pressure and overall showering experience. Equally, we're sorry to hear that you haven't seen the improvements in your skin that you were hoping for. As you mention, everyone's skin and water supply are different, so experiences can vary from person to person.
One thing we'd really like to understand is your comment about being "obsessively" emailed for a review. We only send a single review request 14 days after purchase, so we'd be grateful if you could let us know what other emails or reminders you received. If something has gone wrong in our system, we'd like to investigate and fix this as the last we want to be doing is annoying people.

Not big difference. Water in UK is very bad as I was expected Curo can slightly help but my eczema is still same and I can’t see any difference in the quality of my hair.

Everyone's skin, hair and water supply are different, so results can vary from person to person, and in cases with eczema, we've found that it can take customers up to six months for it to fully clear up.
While our filter is independently tested to reduce chlorine and other contaminants commonly found in tap water, it isn't a true water softener and you may find that if you're in an area with hard water the minerals could be having a negative affect on you.

Very easy to install, and so far so good after 2 weeks. I do feel like my hair and skin are a bit softer, and look forward to keeping it up!

Definitely noticed the difference in my hair and skin. Before both were dry with irritation on my arms, legs and scalp. All gone now! I felt I was bathing in chlorine but now my natural skin barrier feels more intact. I only wish you didn’t have to pay for replacement of filters but the technology isn’t there yet. Definitely worth the investment for healthier skin. Still have to drink water and eat well but no longer stripping away all my natural skin barrier/oils. I recommend this product.

I have seen a huge improvement in both my skin and hair since switching our shower head over to Curo. Their customer service is also fantastic. Unfortunately our shower head broke and I received a response within two mins saying we would receive a replacement the next day. Highly recommend!

After becoming fed up of really hard water I decided to try Curo. So far I am so pleased and wish I’d done it sooner. The shower head itself gives great pressure which has resulted in less water being used and also less shampoo & conditioner being needed, so long term a real winner. This is in addition to the less drying effects of the water. I’m hoping to see improvement in my hair this next time it’s coloured. I’m only a month in, so really hoping the showerhead and filter continue to perform, but so far can only say positive things about the brand. Great customer support too. Thoroughly recommend the company.
