Starting with a valuation and right through to completion. Communication is so important during this process and the team at Curchods excel at this! We will only ever use them for selling! The experience of selling the house was affected by the extended time it took to find a buyer. Curchods did their best but their agency had ended before an offer was made by a couple who saw the house for sale through Curchods but did not make an offer at the time. Thereafter things went well helped by the fact that Curchods were also involved in the sale of their house and after being supported through anxious times Curchods secured both deals and the move was on. I would have given Curchods a higher score had the offer come earlier i.e. during their agency

My wife worked for many years with the old agency - Burns & Webber in Cranleigh so when we were looking to use an agent to sell one of our investment properties we looked to the re branded office in Cranleigh - Curchods. Clive came out and valued the property and we agreed a price. Even though their minimum fee was higher % fee than we had been quoted by other agents, we decided to go with them thinking that the service would be 'as good as it was before' working on the understanding that you get what you pay for. Well, we had 2 viewings and 2 offers. All sounded good until Neil took over and then it all went down hill from there and the whole experience started to become very painful. We had to chase for updates and the buyers were First time buyers so were no 'house purchase savvy' not their fault everyone has to start somewhere. I'm a mortgage broker so have held many a FTB hand through the buying process - something Neil doesn't seem understand it would appear, he kept asking them questions rather than going direct to their solicitor. At one point it ended with me telling Neil what he should be doing - is this what we were paying for??? Then after Neil got side lined Garry took over - a little better but still not dynamic or impressive. Even our solicitor had to chase them for information. So overall, WILL never use them again or recommend. I would of thought because both myself and my wife were 'in the game' that they would of done a really good job - however, I guess this is how they treat their normal client's. Use them at your own peril and if you are soo chilled that you are almost asleep and you won't notice the level of service that they provide. Good Luck with your sale or purchase - you'll need it!

She was an absolute pleasure to work with, taking us to view several properties over just a few days and really helping us narrow down what we were looking for.
