I was looking for holiday insurance at the expiry of my existing insurance. I was recommended to the CSIS through the NFOP. I was not disappointed. The application process was really efficient, the customer advisor was friendly and informative. He took great care to explain the policy and how it applied to existing medical conditions. The extent of cover was explained and how cruise cover worked. Whilst not the most comprehensive cover in terms of missed ports it provides excellent value for money.

Purchasing car insurance by telephone was made easy by the CSIS agent I spoke to. Overall the service I received was excellent.

If I could give less than 1 star I would.
This is a typical case of don’t go with these because they’re cheaper, because there is a reason why they are.
My claim has so far taken 8 weeks and I just got told they need more information!
The online system is so antiquated it’s pretty much pointless.
I am frustrated and very angry at the lack of interaction from the company, when trying to send a query using the online system, many options send you to your online portal to check your claim. This then gives you no information whatsoever.
I will NOT be taking a policy with them again and am so pleased I didn’t switch any of my other insurances over to them.

I wasn't sure if I had the right extension but Lee reassured me straight away. She continued in a very welcoming manner, asking pertinent questions without rushing my answers and explaining this new experience in a very clear way. She had to speak at length regarding conditions but it was easy to understand her voice and the content. She also didn't mind when I asked for clarification. I was very happy with the whole experience... surprisingly so and will pass this on to my colleagues. Thank you
