We booked my sisters hen party in the mermaid house, top service, top house, had a lovely stay!

I think crown gardens are a reputable company and indeed, unlike another Brighton holiday agency, actually return your deposit on time. We stayed at 9 Lansdowne Place in Hove, the flat was very comfortable and we think represented good value for money. The only drawback was that directly opposite there are major renovation works being carried out on the old Lansdowne Palace hotel. This meant lots of noise and dust form the work being done. If this had been pointed out before hand we would have booked elsewhere, this work will go on until September. I did inform Crown gardens who tell me they will bring this to the attention of future renters.

The lack of a shower or even taps with shower head made for a slow start every day but there was plenty of space, beds were great and it was lovely and quiet.

The reality doesn't match up with the images of the flat. The grouting of the bath top was discolored, the plug holes were rusty, some of the carpets were spotty and the beds almost filled the width of the room, leaving just five or six inches to squeeze by.
The main problem was that the upstairs neighbors were noisy during the early hours.
On the positive side, the location is excellent. The management team were friendly and helpful. A defective water heater was fixed promptly.

Had a fantastic stay in Dukes lane Brighton ! House had everything u would need in a fantastic location , will def be back !

Excellent location but the renovation of the interior was not first rate

The bedrooms were good but the kitchen and lounge lacked atmosphere, the kitchen being dingy and not the place to watch tv?

Very easy to organise and great response times from the staff. Everything was explained clearly and the house itself was lovely - exactly as advertised. The security deposit was returned promptly. I would certainly recommend this company to anyone.

Friendly reception and professional company regarding communication and payments etc.

However, this house is advertised to sleep 20 and only had enough water pressure to run one shower at a time. The kitchen is very small for catering for this number.

Good location for easy access to town and beach but for the spec of the property and postcode it is considerably overpriced.

Brilliant service and great communication - would certainly use again. House was lovely - met all of our needs and more.

Fabulous from start to finish. Crown Gardens are a delight to deal with, extremely helpful, swift replies and really accommodating.
The Brighton beach apartment is amazing, even better than the photos. It's ideally located for exploring Brighton, walks on the beach, bars and cafes, and a bit of vintiquing around Kemp Town. The facilities in the flat are second to none, the kitchen is especially well equipped, seriously impressed!
We'll be back, thank you!
