création crate is amazing i learned to program and do electronics 👍 and got a lot of arduinos 😉

My son and I enjoy working through these. I really like how the lessons are put together and are easy to understand. I contacted customer support about a missing create and it was quickly answered and resolved.

This project has been fun and a great learning event for me and my son. Been in Engineering fields for 20+ years and this was way easier to follow and understand than most of my classes in school and work. However the best part is the customer service. Had a minor issue with our crate. They answered my question on a weekend and provided a quick solution.

I studied in Computer and Networking Technology and had learned the basics of electronics at that time. Something I wanted to share with my autistic daughter. The first creation crate delivered everything I needed to make some of the basic circuits I knew and even design a few others that work as well... Pretty exiting stuff... my daughter powered her first LED light just after watching our first video together... the smile on her face was the stuff of dreams... thank you for that... I am hoping, that although we are low income we can find a way to order more crates... this has been an awesome experience so far and we haven't even completed our first project yet.

What a fun project, or projects I should say, to work on with my son. After a rocky start and lots of one on one troubleshooting with David (we learned we had a bad Arduino), we were finally able to make our MoodLamp work. From there it was smooth sailing. The final project really brought the concepts together. Thanks Creation Crate!

I started with Creation Crate in February, and it's been a top-notch experience. The projects are challenging, entertaining, and very well thought out. I've had some basic coding experience in the past, but I always struggled with visualizing some of the abstract concepts that were presented. Creation Crate has proven to be an invaluable asset to getting an actual idea of what actually happens as statements are written out. This is hugely beneficial. I especially like some of the challenges offered with the coding; it's not just a copy/paste and forget about it kind of thing. You can actually write it out, and figure out how to modify and adjust what you have with the challenge exercises.
Physically building out the projects, working with breadboards and other components, has also been a great experience. It's really given me a solid background that's come in very handy in the Embedded Systems class I'm currently taking at my college.
And last but definitely not least, the customer service interactions have been stellar. Even in this challenging COVID-19 landscape, Nasseem M. has been a pillar of support and positivity, and I'm truly grateful for his help in tracking my orders, sending out a missing component, and helping to order the correct projects. He's gone above and beyond, and I really appreciate it.
Overall, I can't recommend Creation Crate highly enough. It's a thoughtful project, it provides invaluable educational experience, and it has a great support staff. Looking forward to future projects!

Love your subscription boxes! My son loves the projects, good level of challenge but doable without frustrating him.

So I worked with CC about getting the missing parts - and my son and I have done 2 projects - And they worked GREAT! My son enjoyed the experience and he was engaged.

Shipping can be a little slow - response can be a little slow -
But!
Working with them and viewing the content - you can tell they are working to make a great product to educate people. If you have the right expectations it's a great kit

So I got the 1st crate in a reasonable time - Once I opened it the project was the Mood Light but the pamphlet was for the Project 2 with the wrong code for redeeming the Instructions.
I had to wait 2 days to get the "right" code.
Once I had some time to try it - when I had time with my son - the code didn't work - So now it's twice my son and I made time to do the crate and twice we couldn't
This makes it difficult to keep his attention - I finally after a year of asking if wanted to do some Arduino projects got him to agree - and this looked like a good way to foster that - and now it's 2 negative experiences.

Honestly, I think I am going to do it myself at this point so I don't damage his interest anymore.

The whole redeeming the course with a code seems out-of-place - I am not sure what's that supposed to accomplish and I've never had to deal with that in any other crate I have gotten. All it's doing (especially when accompanied with 2 days to send a code) is causing frustration

I ordered 6 projects for my nephew on Dec 23rd. It was supposed to arrive in about a week. It is now Feb 16th and has not shipped. I didn't even know he hadn't received it. The company charged my credit card immediately, but never sent an email that the shipment was delayed. I have sent an email on their website, but as of today haven't received a reply.

Horrible customer service unless you somehow are able to speak with the cofounder. Been waiting 6 months for my next box. The regular customer keeps telling to be patient and wont give me any updates. I have paid for 12 months and recieved only 7 boxes. It's been about 15 months, when can I get my next box. 6 months is too long to be patient.

I signed up a while ago to get the monthly projects but did not have time to do them when they arrived. Now, I have started in, and with a few bumps of my own doing from not reading directions, I am up and running. Very fun way to get more experience with Arduino. The projects are easily digestible and still push me to learn a bit more each time.

I placed my order on 12/4/19 and the web site stated the first package would arrive BEFORE Christmas. I got an email that my order shipped on 12/16. The tracking number says it's been in Pre-shipment since then and today is 1/6/20. I have reached out to the company 5 times with NO reply. You have to send an email through the web site. There is no phone number to call.

This was a birthday gift for my grandson who was so excited and now he is extremely disappointed. Disappointing my grandchild is not something that makes me happy!

I have just sent another email through their web site telling them to cancel and refund my payment. We'll see how long that takes.

UPDATE 1/20/20 My grandson finally received his first kit last week and is building it with his dad. So far they are having fun with it. We had a rocky start with Creation Crate, but seem to be on the right track now. I'm hoping the next two kits will ship with no problems. The whole idea of stimulating kids minds is wonderful and kudos to the guys making these kits!

I had an issue with a missing part in my box but customer service quickly took care of the issue. I was greatly impressed with how much they cared to make sure that I had exactly what I ordered. I'm looking forward to watching my son dive into these projects over the coming months.

I have not received the crate yet but I am extremely happy with the customer support I have received so far. I ordered my crate to be shipped to my school, but the post office had difficulty delivering the package at a time when the school building was open. They ended up returning the package to the sender without notifying me. I contacted creation crate and they immediately supported me with everything I needed and even reshipped my package to my home address as soon as I contacted them, before even receiving the returned shipment. I really appreciate this company’s support and can’t wait to test out their product

My parents got me a 3 month subscription. Received my first box and completed it within 24 hours. Very fun! The tutorials are well planned and very helpful! Customer Service is very good, perhaps the best I've ever experienced!

Quality parent-child time - a mutually satisfying challenge. Took some time to create smaller projects to demonstrate each component, building to the final project. Now we're hacking the project at will, making our own creations. Eager to engage in the next project.

It took some time for my kid to get interested in it. I helped him with the 1st two month kits and after that he got interested and did the other kits. It's very suitable for kids grade 5 and up. He has started doing some small projects by himself now. Great customer service.

A very good way to learn the arduino, the team behind creation crate are very cool!

The experience was decent. There wasn’t a lot of problem solving in building the kits and the instruction manual was somewhat confusing to follow. The coding aspect was decently put together but the website you are required to use to get instructions didn’t work well with me. Overall it wasn’t a great experience. I would rather drink a tall glass of water.
