We decided to make this purchase to stay connected with our daughter whether she was with her grandparents or at home and away from a parent and wanted to chat. It has been a great way to stay connected.

The Jr. Track 4 is a great watch for kids who are getting more active and visiting friends on a more frequent basis. Being able to call or text and find out where they are, or where they are going is great. The watch is easy to use, allows for the parents to approve contacts, and keeps kids feeling like they are being trusted more and more. The only reason the watch did not get 5 stars is for the gps portion of the watch. It is not overly reliable or accurate, and if you want live tracking, it drains the battery within a few hours. So if gps triangulation is what you are looking for, this watch would not be what you want.

Good alternative to cell/smart phone - provides older children a way to communicate with parent-approved contacts without the unnecessary bells and whistles of a phone. Generally happy with product, minor issues include:
- the strap broke within 3 months of purchase
- call quality is so-so

This watch is great! This is the third watch we’ve tried and this one has been our favorite so far, it tracks much better than the other options and doesn’t require a separate app for texting but doesn’t allow non-approved numbers to send/receive messages. We also like this charging port/cable better since it’s magnetic and connects easily without being bumped off easily.

There are a few downsides we’ve discovered: the parent portal app is not super easy to navigate, the watch itself is a little clunky, there’s not a way to find the watch with a tone when it’s lost in the house, and the service is more expensive (but the better tracking capabilities make it worth it).

The pros of this watch outweigh the cons and cosmo seems to regularly ask for feedback and actually tries to implement new features requested by parents.

The JrTrack 4 Cosmo watch was been wonderful so far! It is easy to set up and actually seems durable. The watch is kid friendly and a great starter. I love that there is no social media access and contacts are controlled. I did a lot of research before purchasing and spoke to customer service. They helped me make my decision. They answered all of my questions....even the silly ones! Highly recommend.

So far, so good. My 9-year old loves it, and it's a good first step towards responsible technology use. It's nice to be able to keep tabs on him as him and his friends play around the neighborhood and provides easy communication. A few things keeping it from 5-stars are the battery life (lasts less than 24 hours), voice call quality (can be hard to hear), and charger connection (easily loses contact). I'm excited to see where the Cosmo JrTrack 4 goes from here.

We have loved having the Cosmo watch! The app for parents works great keeping up with accurate location and settings. We are happy with how they're continuing to update things, add new features, etc. The only thing I've noticed is the volume on the watch for calls seems low and can't be turned up any higher. And I do suggest that they make the voice to text that sends to parents available to work the same way with ALL contacts.

I was so excited when my friend introduced me to this product. I wanted to have a way to contact my 10 yr old son however at his age I was not going to purchase him a cell phone. I love the fact that there is no access for him to be exposed to the things on the internet however he is able to listen to the Christian music. The price is very affordable for what is offered. I did purchase ours on the Black Friday event sale. When I ordered this for Christmas my shipping address was incorrect and they immediately fixed it at customer service with no hassle or delay. I definitely would recommend this product to parents that also want to be able to product their children from things of this world with efficiency of staying in contact.

I bought these watches for my kids for Christmas and so far we really love them. The GPS isn’t perfect but compared to other watches it seems to do pretty well. I love the parental controls and I really love that I can send/receive messages from them in my normal text messages. I don’t need a special app. Overall we have had a great experience so far.

Bought this for my daughter, love the school features and inability for others to contact her that are not in her contact list that the parents setup, and it is pretty easy to setup. Battery life goes by FAST, for something that spends most of its time not being used at all, that’s not good! Also I would say my biggest problem is there isn’t a way to ping the watch, kids are prone to lose things as well as 2 younger siblings to aid in ruining things…we spent a solid 45min looking for it one day before a vacation.

With after school activities becoming more common we needed a way to stay connected with our son without getting him a phone. The cosmo watch is a great tool to keep in touch, while staying safe and limiting exposure to any social or internet dangers. The watch also gives him an opportunity to learn tech responsibility including both school rules and just keeping it charged. We love the contacts management features. Call quality and battery Life could be better.

I did a lot of research on smart watches for kids. The biggest selling feature for me with the Cosmo watch was the customer service.
I love the watch. Its easy for my daughter to use. We use it for texting, calling and GSP. I can monitor everything through the parental app on my phone. I like how she can only text people that I program into her watch. Great product!

I purchased 2 watches for my kids for Christmas 2024, one i needed to send back for a replacement after a few weeks of usage b/c the battery was not charging to 100%, even after using different chargers, and house outlets like Cosmo recommended. Their customer service was great with the replacement & return, if you are going to have an issue with anything new you want it to be that simple so kudos to them for that. The watch does lack some features such as voice to text. As it stands now, it sends an audio file AND translating text along with it. We need a feature where the kids speak into the watch to write a text message and it translates to actual text. We also purchased the screen protectors that Cosmo sells, not aftermarket ones on Amazon, and we find our little ones cannot use the screen without swiping several times or using some force, in short, the screen protectors are not sensitive enough for small fingers. Lastly, when i asked what material the bands were made of (there has been alot of talk around silicone and other plastics in the news recently) i was told they didnt know and were not able to find out. As a parent, with young children using these products, i have a right to know what is going on my kids wrist. Beyond that the battery life could be better as others have stated, and the app needs some improvements as well. I should snot have to go to the website from the app for additional parental options, just build it into the app. Lastly, when naming guardians or contacts, we should not be “required” to use last names. “Grandma” or “Grandpa” should be enough, right now we have to put a “.” as the last name so it displays as “Grandma .” which should not be the case. I know this is a long review, but that is why i titled it “the honest truth”. In closing do i like the watches, yes, are their improvements needed so i stay with the platform? Also yes. I do overall like these watches. Although, I don't have any experience with the other brands of kids watches, as these are the only ones I've purchased, but I did do a lot of research before purchasing choosing/purchasing these. I bought 2. Here is my honest review after 2 months of use:

Cons: The one watch I purchased has slight lagging and issues with charging at times, but not enough issues to return it. The 2nd one I purchased works with no issues. I gave it 4 stars because there was a programming issue with the one watch, where it needed erased, re-activated remotely, and a new phone number after 1 week of use. This was a headache process to say the least. I also do NOT like how these charge. The charging cord that comes with the watch is just like any new charging cord (wrapped tightly and hard to straighten). But instead of "plugging" the watch in, it's a weak magnet. If I bumped the watch while charging, the magnet disconnects and stops charging. Since the chargi g cors is so twisted, it sometimes pops off the watch diconnecting it from charging. I ended up purchasing the charging stands, which my kids and I love, but they were an additional $25 each. I personally have a Samsung smart watch, which also charges magnetically, but the issue with the Cosmo watches is the magnetic port is so tiny, it easily disconnects, and with the cord being so twisted (out of the box) it's really tricky to get them to charge. The location feature is good, but I do wish it had a more accurate "update in real time" feature. It lags ALOT when I refresh the app to see where they are while on the bus to/from school. It often can't pinpoint their location, so I have to close the app and re-open it to get their location.

Pros: I do love that my kids have a way to contact me for any needs, without getting them a cellphone. These are the best option IMO when compairing price (watch and monthly plan), features, parent app, and overall ease of use for me and my kids. They love them! The connection for the watch band is exactly the same as my Samsung watch (20 mm quick release watch band) so there are many different types of aftermarket watch band that can be purchased to fit your child's individual personality. Each watch also comes with 2 screen protectors....my kids already have scratches on the screen protectors after 2 months, lol 🤦🏼‍♀️. Overall, I do recommend purchasing these and will recommend them to my friends/family.

We chose Cosmo because of the price and safety features. It’s a great way to communicate with my daughter while she is at school and/or activities. However, the GPS notifications are always about 30 minutes delayed and the call quality is not great, mainly good for texting.

The watch is a good size for my son and has a lot of features that other watches do not have like a camera.
I have found that the phone calls have a lot of static and sometimes the location finder is not always up to date. It could be the area in which we live in (West Virginia).

This watch is wonderful I can keep in contact with my kids who are not quite cell phone age. I love the safety features and parental controls for the contacts list.

Bought this for my 9 year old for Christmas. It’s worked great for seeing how far his bus is on his way home from school (since his bus is always late.) He loves sending me sweet messages during the day. It’s also been handy when he’s playing with the neighbors and I need him to come home.

Customer service is amaz8ng and very helpful. However, the cell service is terrible. By the time my child leaves home with me, I dont get an alert that he has left the safe zone until he is already at school. Since the location alerts are not in real time it could be a big concern for people who depend on the tracker for real time location. Save yourself the headache and get a watch through your cell carrier.

I don’t think my son should have a cell phone yet and he plays a lot of sports so this watch is perfect for him. The service is pretty decent and he likes that he can take pictures with it.
