poor packing - delicate items at bottom of boxes and when unpacked found cruched/ broken. Marks/ scrapes on furniture where stacked on each other in lorry.
Lovely people but removeal quality poor, would not use again

Awful company…… moved us only to find they had underestimated the cubic load then demanded we cough up another £500 otherwise they would drive off with our furniture. They damaged so much of our furniture. The aftercare was appauling….. they couldn’t give a toss! Do not use these cowboys!

UNPACKING TAKES A WHILE.. WE USED THIS 'COMPANY' A WHILE AGO AND WEVE COME TO UNPACK A FEW MORE BOXES TO FIND THEYVE STOLEN SOME RARE COINS FROM THEIR PACKAGING AND THEN PACKED THE RIPPED OPEN PACKETS! UNBELIEVABLE. IM DISGUSTED TO SAY THE LEAST.

THE MOVERS WERE COWBOYS THEY DROPPED STUFF DOWN THE STAIRS, COMPLAINED THE DRIVE WAS TOO FAR AND NEEDED TO GET HOME. THEN DEMANDED A REVIEW ON THE SPOT WHICH I DIDNT LEAVE AT THE TIME.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND GO ELSEWHERE.

We used this company in 2021 and they were great so decided to use them again however it is impossible to get a response from anyone I have called and emailed but nothing. I have paid a deposit and we are supposed to be moving in 3 weeks but no one is responding. If you call the number on the website it just says they are busy and the mobile number for George our advisor goes to VM every time you try calling.
Feel very let down and disappointed this is my last attempt to get a response from them but I’m guessing my deposit is gone as is my move with them!!

The guys were amazing. Remained patient when Solicitor was slow. Really hard working and helpful throughout. Thank you.

Like another has posted, this company is a SCAM.

They don’t deserve one star. My family were relocating and decided to invest £1.8k on a removal company to make the transition as smooth as possible. People told me it would be “the best money you’ll ever spend”- what it actually turned out to be was a horror show and truly traumatic- NEVER, EVER USE THIS COMPANY.

I initially shut the door on the packers as they looked so dodgy- I honestly thought they were drug addicts trying to get in my house. Our belongings were just practically chucked in boxes without a care - new sofa has a hole, wool rug has a hole, over 100 year old heirloom oil paintings just left out on the street and their ceramic frames broken despite me highlighting them as very important and fragile. White sofa just chucked in the back of a dirty van unprotected even when I saw it and specifically asked for it to be protected, it wasn’t. I couldn’t keep an eye on what the team was doing as I was working my arse off trying to do their job for them as they were so late in getting anything done.

Our belongings didn’t fit in the vans and we had to cram stuff into our car, we had to leave a lot of our belongings at the old house long after the new owners had got the keys.

Movers had no idea we were relocating 45 mins away and on arrival threatened to leave with our stuff as they deemed the access too hard. I had previously sent numerous photos of the property and warned them of the access yet no site visit was made and they assured me everything would be fine.

My husband and I had to break our backs lugging our stuff in as they were just sitting there complaining and laughing. When they did start helping, they came to us with problem after problem which we had to solve- boxes were all put in the wrong rooms. We had payed for an unpacking service but that didn’t happen. So much of our property was broken, damaged and scuffed and stained. We had to work incredibly hard in the dark and rain to get our belongings in the house as I honestly thought they’d just take all our stuff and drive off. There was no respect what so ever, we had bought them lunch and they chucked the wrappers in our front garden- and threw rubbish on top of our hedges.

I ended up losing it and screaming at them, I was on my knees sobbing my eyes out and yet they were asking me to fill out a 5 star review in their presence. I felt really intimidated but refused- they then text me to say they still hadn’t seen the five star review posted. I’ve sent a complaint but heard nothing back from their complaints department. In this day and age and after the email I sent I would have expected an email back immediately. After reading these reviews I have no faith what so ever.

I’ve had 1.8k taken from me just to have one of the most traumatic days of my life. If it’s not made right I am very tempted to go to the press.

SCAM COMPANY! THEY ARE NOT MEMBERS OF THE BAR (British Association of Removers) STAY AWAY!
I was sold a scam, a "care package" and 50k insurance if any damage occurred. I needed to move a large Arcade Machine, the main reason I looked for a professional removal company. What turned up was 3 Eastern European guys in a van with no lifting equipment, the van didn't have a tail lift and they had no blankets to cover my furniture.

My arcade machine was dropped down the stairs and could have killed the guy underneath it. His arms were badly hurt and he was out of action all day.

Most of my walls have marks all over them, my kitchen floor was left with a hole in it. My new fridge freezer has damage marks, my dishwasher needed repairing and the items were literally dumped around the house (see photos) I paid for the dismantle and assemble service, but after the shambles my wardrobe was "assembled" in, and after being told it wasn't their skills it was my floorboards, I had enough and asked them to leave. I spent 2 full days fixing things that they left in their destructive path.
They drank bottles of energy drink and threw them on my home floor and left cigarette ends and lunch waste outside my front door.
I was forced to leave a good review immediately while they were lingering around me.
Jack the manager will sweet talk you that all will be repaired. Then you have to deal with the insurance team, well I was told she was the best Denisa is her name, so far after over 1 month, I have received 1 email stating she's looking into my claim and will be in touch. Well, that was 14 days ago now. Nothing. So I'm now warning anybody thinking of using this company to go with a BAR registered one and not this joke of a company. They also advertise they are members of the Safe Contractors Trade Association and they are not accredited with them yet and the association has requested for them to remove this from their website. I paid £1.5k thinking I was getting a professional company. This is FAR from that in all aspects.

31.08.2023 update, still nowhere near getting anything sorted. I requested a call last week Tuesday and today the following week Thursday I received an email, not a call as requested. Offering a couple of hundred pounds for an arcade machine worth 4.5k, which is another unprofessional blow from this joke of a company.
The reason for the long delay, that they are experiencing a high demand of claims currently, well NO SURPRISE THERE, if sending unprofessional people to do a professional job, you'll get damage of property and claims.

Avoid this company, they will subcontract your move the the cheapest man and van. Scammers

This was the second time we’ve used Cornerstone in as many years. We had different people come this time with a truck and the service was 5-star again! Claudio and Marin were outstanding, very friendly, efficient, and genuinely good people. George on the phones was also brilliant and very helpful. They were more than happy to collect from two addresses at no extra cost. I would happily recommend them to anyone that requires a moving service and have! Hopefully we won’t move again for a while, but if we do, I’ll be calling Cornerstone!
