Success in the end! It was a bit of a struggle but not due to your program or instructions so much as to my capabilities now entered my 9th decade!
The only unresolved problem I had/have is that having generated my CSV file from my old SAGE(2000) "Instant Accounting" program still going strong on Win7-64bit (as rest of my work), the figures for total sales and total purchases did not transpose correctly. I got round this by altering the refs from "G" to "H" columns and manually entering the whole £ into the CSV file. I did wonder if it was anything to do with SAGE giving these totals in ££.pp not whole £s.

Impressed that you responded and quickly! I'll have a look at my CSV data and commas, etc., before the next quarter and "clean up" anything necessary - and hopefully try your update by then too.

100PcVatFreeBridge is a fantastic piece of software. I was dreading the changeover to MTD for my four companies, but this software removed all the stress and was as easy as pie to use with full, clear instructions. All I have to do is set up one CSV file (template provided) for the quarter end with four figures in it and the rest is automatic.

I've been using this for 2 quarters now and it works seamlessly with my own Excel spreadsheet . Thank you. I am retiring next year so the thought of having to pay out and re-design just to satisfy HMRC was quite daunting. Easy to use and clear instructions.

VatFreeBridge is an excellent piece of code with excellent documentation.

VAT free bridge is excellent. Easy to use and with support if you need it.

100PcVatFreeBridge is simple and brilliant. I'm a one-man company and still using Quicken 2 running on VirtualBox hosted Windows XP (yes! and yes, I'm a mean Scot). When I had to eventually use MTD, I didn't have the stomach or finances to learn a new accounts package or pay monthly subscription. 100PcVatFreeBridge let's me continue using my easy to use Quicken 2. So glad I found it.

Comsci VatBridge makes the MTD nightmare go away.
Without it, MTD was a dismal nightmare. With it, I'm done in 5 minutes per quarter. I am very grateful.

Update after 2 years: same comment. Setup took maybe 15 minutes — I use a spreadsheet for my bookkeeping, so adding the required field names was easy enough — but using it each quarter after that is literally 5 minutes from start to submission.

I am a technological dinosaur but found this program incredibly easy to use. Instructions are clear and they work! Thank you - Happy to contribute to a great project and Highly reccommend.

Straight forward and does exactly what it says it does. Perfect for me and I am recommending it to anyone that needs a simple excel add-in to resolve their MTD concerns. Big thumbs up.

100PcVatFreeBridge is a great piece of software - I used their sample spreadsheet to get my first quarter VAT return set up and it was submitted to HMRC - worked first time! And I checked the HMRC site - all was tickety-boo!

This is a simple to use and free piece of software that links a spreadsheet with VAT calculations to HMRC's website for uploading. Highly recommended.

Fantastic - no nonsense, no data tracking, straightforward and free! I liked it so much I made a donation. A small point to watch out for with CSV files, my Sage output export had embedded commas in the text which throws the parsing out by one column each

Excellent and simple. If you already using excel to for your accounts and VAT then this is the easiest way to convert what you used to online, typing the numbers from your spreadsheet into the HMRC online form, into "digital" VAT. Just name the cells, 100PC grabs the data, AND shows this to you so you can fix any typos you made, before it sends it after you tell it that it is ok to send.
