this is the easiest tax software to use and the encouragement to donate to some very good causes is the right thing to do. Support this as the best way to do your VAT online returns!

The software is very easy to use, it took me 30 minutes to modify my Excel spreadsheet to work with it. (Could've been quicker but I was a bit fancy).
It automatically does the registration with HMRC also, again very simple.
Seems genuinely free (asks for a donation - ok fair).

I use a simple homemade Excel cashbook spreadsheet with four linked VAT worksheets. The "4 Quarters Spreadsheet" facility was perfect for me and I was able to set up this programme without having to change my spreadsheet. I use this system for two businesses and have now made returns for two quarters without any problem. I can recommend this for its simplicity.

Very easy to use software for small companies completing making tax digital VAT returns. A godsend that saves money and time. Highly recommended.

As a small Ltd business keeping my own spreadsheets and filing VAT returns myself I was pretty scared about making tax digital. I found this bridging software on the HMRI website, and it seemed better than anything else for someone with modest needs like me. I downloaded it and it worked perfectly first time with my existing spreadsheets. I even surprised myself how quickly I got the Q2 2022 VAT return filed and confirmed. I was very happy to be fully compliant with Making Tax Digital without monthly fees, accountant support, or the like. I left a small donation on the link.

100pcVatFreeBridge works well for small businesses submitting VAT returns, and it really is free. No need to buy expensive accounting software. Used it successfully for more than one year.

I've been using 100PcBridge for 9 months now and am very happy with it. Have never needed customer service (a recommendation in itself!) and find the software very straightforward to use.

100pcVatFreeBridge really works with open office and it does not require disclosure of password to third party and it's free! what's not to like? You do need to figure out how to define/name a cell. Very pleased.

This is a great bit of software that works and is easy to set up in Excel. The UK Government has made submitting VAT returns more difficult for small businesses who do not want to get tied into cloud and or subscription based software.

This is quick and easy.

Aged 78, running Quick Books 2013 on Windows 7 Home Premium - it just worked. Ok, I did read the instructions but if it worked for me it should work for you.

Does what it says without any problem, thanks for providing such a helpful little tool when HMRC is forcing even the simplest declaration to use a full software... For my use-case it would be even better to have a simple form to fill-in the numbers instead of mapping a CSV/XLS, to avoid creating a temporary CSV just for 2 numbers.

Does exactly what it says on the tin - follow the instructions!!!! and it all works so smoothly

Excellent. Initially I was a little annoyed the govt. had forced me to use third party software, but by setting up an extra line of automated calculations in my trusty Excel sheet, and linking its cells to 100PcVatFree, making VAT submissions now is even easier than it was before. Don't even need to log into the GovGateway, just open the app, click 'prepare', check it has grabbed the right numbers and then click 'submit': all done! First time around I wanted confirmation from HMRC that all was well, but having received this I am now perfectly relaxed.

Our VAT registration in voluntary, so I was among the last group to be forced to comply with Making Tax Digital. My main concerns were that it was going to be complicated and costly. However, once I found 100pcVatFreeBridge it was all surprisingly straightforward and completely free, so I needn't have worried. I would definitely recommend 100pcVatFreeBridge to anyone looking for an easy and simple piece of bridging software. As a result I am more than happy to donate to their exemplary causes. We used another VAT submission tool from a big firm, it was really time consuming and we stuck with it for a couple of years but eventually thought there must be a better way, there is!

100 percent vat free is fantastic, really simple to use and works every time, we've now been using nearly a year and just done our 4th return, it only takes a few minutes, as it should do if it's written by someone who codes well AND understands the process which I'm pleased to say must be this firm, don't hesitate even though the logo looks a bit, erm, designed by a techie...

Excellent program. I tried a couple of the other free programs available on-line but they were all too complicated, (and I'm not sure they would have been all that free with normal use)
This program just pulls the information from my Excel Spreadsheet which I've used for years. I'm a one-man-band Company so my VAT is very simple. But since it pulls from your usual VAT accounting program the I guess it can work for comlex returns too.
