I was so excited for the clothes to arrive as they looked great online. They took weeks to get here (from China, not London!) and when they arrived they are an awful material, so cheap and not the right sizes. I've been trying to return them for two weeks, the company wouldn't give me a return address and kept offering me a % cash refund. This communication has all been with an AI chat bot. I have ended up giving in and accepting a 80% cash refund and now they have blocked or deleted their email address. So I am having to see if I can get a refund through my bank. All of it has been awful.

I have been scammed just like the other reviews. Ordered dungarees. The quality of fabric and the make was awful. Requested a refund and like the other reviews I was told to keep the item and they would send me a credit code ( in full). Code didn't work, the next 5!weeks I have been emailing them back and forth, and now emails are bouncing back. So no credit, no refund.
PLEASE AVOID. DONT GET CAUGHT OUT LIKE WE HAVE

Do not buy from this company, not who they claim to be…. Not two sisters in London……
I Was unhappy with my purchase- poor fit / quality , when they finally replied to my emails they offered a credit note as couldn’t return to china, then the website is suddenly non existent….. will be reporting to trading standards

After being sent the wrong size of the shoe I ordered, I was told that returning it would be expensive. They said they would refund 50% of the cost and I can keep the shoes. Although not ideal, I agreed. It has been 3 weeks and I’ve still not received the refund. On emailing, the response is that there is an issue with their system . Note that the delivery of the item was delayed and I had to chase. The shoe quality is really poor.. The worst customer service I ve ever experienced. Please don’t order anything from them!!!

I bought an item from Clareandkate. I wait for delivery 3 weeks! Apparently arriving from London.
Poor quality of the product is one thing, I wanted to return it thinking I receive money back. Customer service informed me I have to £25 to send it back!!! Where is the guarantee 28day policy! When I kicked off they offered to refund me only 80%. Disgraceful , unreliable , absolute rip off your money! Someone took they money and run away

Please do not use this company, terrible quality clothes, that you cannot return. I ordered the linen/ cotton looking relaxed dungarees. They did eventually arrive but were made of polyester, so thin you could see through them and huge. Say they are based in London but you have to return items to China, registered delivery. They make it impossible to send items back. Offer a store credit or partial refund which you will be lucky if they actually pay. I,ve looked on Companies House and cannot find them, so I'm guessing they are a Chinese company. I have actually reported them to Trading Standards via Citizens Advice, not holding much hope as you need an address. I have just managed to get my bank to refund the money via something called a Chargeback, as they did not supply what they advertised. Highly recommend avoiding! ** SCAM **

If I could give 0 I would. Steer well clear of this company. ‘Catfishing’ products. Not based in the UK despite their AI website & address. Clothes are very poor quality & ‘easy returns’ is a lie.try & fob you off with unusable store credit & refuse to give a returns address. Claiming excessive posting costs to their ‘international hub’. Have reported to Trading Standards & as soon as my bank got involved a refund was released. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

SCAM DO NOT BUY.
I bought dungarees faulty, they don't adjust on strap, don't look anything like pictures, terrible material that's really static.
Not giving me an address to send back to. Offering to send me another pair and keep these but I don't want them. Feel gutted I got scammed how do we close companies like this down without them opening up a new company under a different name?

Based in Netherlands maybe and by off Temu maybe as orders take ages to arrive and not of good quality for the price.

DO NOT ORDER from this organisation - I have just experienced what I consider to be pre-calculated Consumer fraud.
A dress I ordered because visually outstanding quality and design in the advertising images arrived & turned out to be a very very inferior product. Company write up on the Clare&Kate London website in ‘About us’ had led me to believe the Company was UK based, Now I have requested a full refund have been told that dress has to be returned to company’s International hub at my expense which will cost as much as the dress itself.
Being offered credit notes but what would be the point if products ordered from the site are not as visual appearance in the advertising images.
With so many British Consumers clearly being ‘had’ by set ups (SCAMS) such as this I would like to know why UK Trading Standards are failing to protect us from such criminal practice.

Do not buy from this site.
The items come from Asia.
The items I purchased are of extremely poor quality. I tried to return but they refused to give me the return address. They offered me a 30% refund, I refused. They then offered a 60% refund and stated they are a small business and can’t afford full refunds. I accepted but no money has been returned. They are now claiming my bank must have lost the money.

Don’t be fooled by it appearing to be uk based. It’s in Asia and 7 weeks on from order I am still chasing mine. It’s not arrived, if it does I have no chance of return because its location and I’m not been given a refund

Wish I saw those reviews earlier, items looks lovely as do the reviews , same as any one else my all in one suit advertised as £79 reduced to £34 , it was ok if you brought them at a cheep retail store but they were never worth £34 I saw them later advertised as £112 same issue as getting refund told the same stories as others , you are dealing with Ai settled on a 50 % refund and a full credit note purely because I haven’t the patience to deal with it and basically accepted my loss , also once I started researching saw very simular setup

The items were not as advertised. Clothing made of cheap, thin polyester: certainly not as either the written info on the website of the photos. The bag I ordered was damaged. The shoes way smaller than the labelled size.
It’s been impossible to get a refund via the company. We agreed a 65% refund. Not arrived in my account. I have had to go via my bank for a refund dispute to recover the money.
Seriously, do not order from this company.

So disappointed. This dress was nothing like the picture on their website. It was baggy. The fabric was cheap and nasty. It was too big, despite ordering the right size. Also, customers were lead to believe the dress was coming from a designer shop in London, whilst I see from other reviews people were ask to send returns back to the far east, at huge costs. Will be contacting trading standards if I don't get a full refund. ATM they are not even answering my e-mails..

If I could rate this zero, I would. This is essentially a shopfront for an online retailer based in Asia. They make you think that it is an actual store in London. Their products look great on the website but they are nothing like the pictures. I ordered what I thought was an embroidered dress in a lovely chiffon type fabric. What I got was printed, cheap and nasty material. I feel I have been duped. They offered me a store credit, which I have declined as there is no way I would buy anything from them again. Returns are at the buyers cost and have to be sent back to Asia and you are responsible for any import/export duty. You have been warned.

The dresses I bought took a while to arrive and are nothing like the picture. They are cheap polyester printed imitations of the photos on the website. This site is clearly a scam. I wouldn't buy from here!!!

The items were nicely made, but cheap, not really in keeping with the impression from the website, (there are multiple websites selling the dungarees I bought, with the same format). I wanted to return them, they didn't quite fit. They said I was to pay postage, and they are a little veiled about the fact they go to an international address, which, when asked for, they are reluctant to give. I said I would pay postage but they kept trying to do a deal with me. Eventually, as the items were not as described, i.e. adjustable, and the straps had not buckles, just a cheap button, I said I could return them without cost to myself, as the items differed from those advertised. They were good in their communication, but persisted in trying to do a deal. I stuck to my side that they were not adjustable, (therefore, consumer rights, not fit for purpose). They moved from 20% refund right up to 85% and I keep the items to donate if wanted. I went for this last option ultimately as someone in Oxfam may want them. I haven't checked to see if the money has returned yet.

Poor quality items. Listed as £115, reduced to £34.99. Material, stitching, fastenings all very low quality and colored differed to color request. They did deal with my 'return' by offering me a credit note. Limited stock on webpages and i am unable to find anything i want to buy. Some items I have seen on Temu for fraction of the price.

UPDATE: I’ve still not received my refund and now their email address doesn’t work. I think they’ve relaunched and Daniel and Laura London so BEWARE.

I don’t know where to start….! Their clothes looked amazing online and I ordered 2 pairs of dungarees. It took a good few weeks for them to arrive and when they did the quality was appalling and the items NOTHING like the images. Trying to get a refund is made unbelievably difficult and the constant threat of expensive returns costs is their “sales” pitch to try and get you to keep the item or accept a 30% refund. I’ve currently told them 4 times I would like a full refund and I keep being offered alternatives.
I cannot spell this out any clearer, but DO NOT BUY FROM CLARE & KATE LONDON.
