David Wilson at CheapTicketsDeal - interesting experience
LIKES: 1) their pricing was $100 less than the next competitor 2) they answered the phone without a lengthy hold
DISLIKES: 1) although David Wilson confirmed my seat, had to wait up to 24 hours before a definite confirmation 2) had to provide a copy of my credit card 3) the confirmation did not show the cost of the tickets
I had been communicating with another company to get a last minute flight. This other company called and when I said I had purchased elsewhere. After asking with whom, that agent suggested I call the airline directly as companies that offer lower prices are often scams - saying you are confirmed when in fact they have just taken your money and you have no reservation. I was concerned because of the delay in firming the reservation, so I called Porter Airlines and was in fact on their flight manifest complete with a booking number.
I would use David Wilson again, but hope reservations can be streamlined so once confirmed, you actually do have a confirmed seat. And get rid of the need to provide a copy of your credit card.

Exactly as described and simple
Honestly it’s one of the few occasions when you get more than you expected. The process was easy and I got great tickets, considerably cheaper than elsewhere at short notice. I had to travel for a family emergency and expected the worst in terms of fares or compromise in service but everything was perfect.
