Beware! Chinese counterfeit scammers!
Rip off of the real charabanc.com who I thought I was buying a home diffuser from. And a dreadful cheap scent. You buy this product and you are helping dodgy counterfeiters.

In response to your faux response and your claim to be operating legally in the UK - I have just looked you up and can see that Brittanic Spectrum’s registered office since 2024 is some shuttered building, as has been commented elsewhere, with an astonishing 83,323(!) companies registered to it, and Charabanc Aroma only just registered with another virtual address that houses over 5000 businesses. Very suspect.

Both companies are registered in the name of two Chinese nationals who reside in China. My parcel was also shipped from Guondong, China so forgive me for suggesting you are a Chinese company. Nothing wrong with this of course, unless the business is shady. And I would say the evidence is there for everyone to see that there is nothing remotely British about your brand or product so why are you claiming otherwise? That's not just suspect it amounts to false representation.

You may think it legitimate because you were able to buy a number of companies with a virtual address but I also looked up the trademark you say you legitimately trade under and the only trademark there belongs to the original Charabanc brand, so you are clearly trading illegitimately and dishonestly on the back of their brand, as evidenced also by your sponsored ads on Google which is where I unfortunately found you. It was only upon receipt of the product that the alarm bells rang because it is so laughably poor for the price you charge (as others have commented).

NB: I only leave reviews when businesses have scant regard for their customers or try and rip people off. Thankfully most businesses don’t, unlike yours.
So buyer beware.

Shipment arrived very quick, well packed but unfortunately not working. I contacted customer service and after couple of tests and video they sent another base. It's the best aroma diffuser we have. Thank you

Had a problem with a diffuser not operating correctly and after trying the cleaning process as described on the website no improvement. Diffuser glass replaced by Charabanc with no issue, excellent customer service

For coming from a far distance to get to my place in Mississauga Canada, it didn’t take very long. When I opened the box, I was quite surprised to see the quality of the packing and the product. I’m very happy with the unit. I also bought the eight scents I haven’t tried them all, but I am working with the citrus one at this point and very happy.

The diffuser is great, works well. Slight hiccup with an order for a 60ml bottle of no.17, customer service where on the ball to sort it out. Where very responsive and helpful.

I was lured by the Insta ads, led to believe this was a lovely hand crafted thing. It is not. It comes from China, and it is cheaply made. The huge clouds of vapour you see coming out of the bottles in the videos is NOT what you will see happening in your own machine. When I first started using mine I got a thin wisp, which, after some use, disappeared altogether. I contacted the company via Instagram, and they suggested I add some warm soapy water and run that through the machine for a while. This did the trick for a couple more weeks but now even that doesn't fix it. Mine just bubbles and stutters now.

I love when people come up with unique businesses, and this one is a great idea, but if you're going to be charging over $100 for this machine, please consider upping the quality of your product - or at least do rigorous product testing before you start selling it to ensure it continues working beyond a couple of months. My essential oils even had a spelling mistake on the labels (oil was spelt "iol"), as well as other grammatical errors on the packaging.

And please don't mislead people by suggesting that the product is from London, which it clearly isn't. The London address you've listed as your location is simply a registered office address you can rent to give the impression of a prestigious London location. People reading this review can see this for themselves by googling the address. The Sydney store that is listed as "coming soon" on your website is accomodation for university students, and the Sydney warehouse listed is actually the location of a Sendex fulfilment centre. All of this makes your company look very dodgy indeed.

I wish I'd taken the time to investigate further before spending my money. To people reading this review - don't be fooled by the ads, the spin, or the attractive website. I really wanted to love this product, but sadly it is terrible quality.

This is as classy as it looks in the video. Very impressed. I would definitely recommend this, make sure you order in advance mine took a week to deliver, but it’s absolutely worth it.

The diffuser quality is great and diffuses the fragrance smell within just minutes of turning it on and will spread across the room. Looks stylish and their fragrance oil is of great quality as well.

I requested the device without wire , it should be with batteries but ended up with wired device

This thing is a piece of junk. It is impossible to tell what the setting is for the strength of scent is set at. Barely any vapor comes out after trying to get it set correctly. Absolutely a waste of money AVOID!

After two weeks of use (you can only use their oils) the bottle stopped producing mist. Initially emails came back advising me to clean the unit, This didn't work and the 'helpful' emails dried up - a bit like the scents themselves. It's a nice design but cheaply made. Customer service is paper thin once issues start showing.Which they probably will. Please avoid this company and look elsewhere.

Great diffuser, aesthetically beautiful and very functional, by far the most powerful I have ever tried. Within minutes you can already smell the fragrances. Excellent quality and quantity of fragrances.
Last but not least, I accidentally broke the glass cap and the service department sent me a replacement with the simple purchase of a new fragrance. Bravissimi!!!

I was really excited when I ordered the product, but the delivery was very slow, and the service from the delivery company was poor, which made me receive the item later than expected. The product itself is fine, but it seems different from the wooden material I saw on the website, and the bulb has some scratches, which was disappointing.

The smells are devine and travels round the whole house every one complements the smell at my hand when they were in I have bought three diffusers one from my daughter-in-law and two for myself

I had a issue with mine but the customer service and the fast response and with all the help and information and this was resolved in less than 24 hours great communication

I will be purchasing more they truly are outstanding from the design to the smells

Oh, what a treat this was! I shelled out nearly £70 for the Charamanc Aroma unit, lured in by a Facebook advert promising a solid wood block with high-quality craftsmanship. What did I receive? A delightful lump of cheap, flimsy plastic that could barely pass as a toy, let alone a premium product.

The whole thing oozes “bargain bin” energy – plasticky, nasty, and about as premium as a melted lunchbox. For nearly £70, I was expecting a touch of class, but instead, I got something that wouldn’t look out of place in a pound shop. Honestly, I wouldn’t pay a tenner for this.

A masterclass in false advertising. Bravo! Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy paying luxury prices for absolute tat.

Absolutely wonderful! Sometimes (aka often!) products are never as good as the ads show. Or if there is an issue, they just ghost you. Not in this case. My diffuser arrived quickly and firstly the boxes were beautiful. But most importantly the unit itself is stunning. It works beautifully and looks stunning. After a few weeks however I noticed it was still operational but no longer misting. I emailed them and Kooklen immediately replied with advice on what might be the issue. When I couldn’t resolve it, without question, she sent a replacement glass. It’s now working perfectly again and I was also given heaps of advice and tips to keep it working beautifully.
Don’t use thick essential oils! Needs to be the right consistency. I will be sticking to their oils from now on!

This company not only produce a beautiful product but are really passionate about customer service. The pieces are beautifully made. I could not recommend them more highly. I just wish other companies would be take a leaf out of their book!
