Wish the glasses weren’t super easy to scratch up and then later on get a weird line on the lens part. Wasn’t so happy with customer service from there on I never bought glasses from this company again they need to work on their product

Aura is perfect!

The Aura is my favorite sunglasses EVER!

I can’t begin to tell you how great these glasses are. Each tint is perfect. So happy with this purchase.

Still use my Music Shield for my daily bike rides with my Pandora Channels. And the Dusk Classic has been great since day one.

5-Star Product, 5-Star Customer Service

I apparently finally decided to pull the trigger on some Auras at the same time as everyone else in the world, which understandably led to some shipping delays. These things can't be helped - it's part of doing business with a growing company.

What can be helped, though, is the customer support and experience in these situations. Thor was phenomenal in this regard, always responding kindly and quickly and making sure I was kept up to date on my order all the way through delivery.

The product itself is actually very high quality and incredible to see in person. I 100% thought the ads and videos I had seen were edited to some degree - maybe just cranking the saturation to make the colors pop, a cheap & easy trick nobody would have held against them in an ad for a product about color - but no, the Aura videos really aren't edited. The colors actually are that bold in person.

I don't think there's anything Chamelo could have done better here. If anything, I just wish they had more products available now that I'd be interested in ordering. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for their future releases. Hopefully the success of the Auras helps development!

So far I have a great experiance with…

So far I have a great experiance with Chamelo Falcons during the bike rides. They glasses are really hi-tech and offer great protection against bright light. But most of all they are super comfortable and sit great on the nose with quick on the fly adjustments when needed. At some point a few stains appeared on the left lens. I thought they were permanent but they disappeared over a few rides. In the meantime Chamelo support was helpful with the issue. However, I did not need to return to glasses for service. So far, so great Chamelo, thanks!

Not even a week and got damaged

I ordered the Chamelo Dusk glasses back in March. Once they finally arrived in Ecuador, they didn’t even last a week before developing strange “electronic ink” stains on the lenses. I contacted support immediately, and they admitted it was a defect. They promised to send me a replacement Dusk model.

Months went by, and instead of honoring that commitment, they later said they had no stock. Then they asked me to choose another model. I requested the Prime, but again they said it wasn’t available either. I asked for a return label and a refund, but apparently, refunds are not even an option for such a poor product.

This is unacceptable:

Product quality: failed in less than a week.

Delivery times: excessively long.

Customer service: unhelpful, unresponsive, and unwilling to solve the issue.
Overall, a very disappointing experience. I cannot recommend Chamelo, neither for their product reliability nor for their customer service

I ordered on 2nd July the dragon…

I ordered on 2nd July the dragon sunglasses, these are yet to today not been delivered (9 September). Multiple mails to the customer services, always a nice reply and saying it was delayed. They offered me a 20% refund on 11 August and said it will be deposited within 14 business days, either your business days are longer than mine, or there's something wrong. Ive not received my glasses nor my refund, but my patience is running out slowly

No type of update. Beyond disappointing it’s been more than a month and still no refund and nobody will update me. They give you a 15 day refund to hit your bank and it doesn’t. Save yourself the $300. They don’t refund you when they say they will.

Chamelo is very untrustworthy

Chamelo has terrible communication. You’re left in the dark about product updates, and the refund process is completely unreliable you never know when or if you’ll actually get your money back. This company is a complete fraud! I placed an order online on June 6th, and they never delivered the product. After continuous follow-ups from my side, the only response I received was that the delivery was “delayed.” It has now been three months, and still nothing!

I would never recommend this brand to anyone. They are totally dishonest and unreliable.

Overnight Shipping

I recently placed an order for the aura a couple days ago with overnight shipping but have yet to have the item be shipped.
UPDATE: I've been refunded for the overnight and it's pending with my bank. And a shipping number has been added to my order. And now I await for delivery. The customer service team has quick responses.
UPDATE: They arrived and got delivered within less than a week. These are truly amazing

Will never ship anything and just keep lying

Placed my order in May (Order #20611). Fast forward to the end of August and I still have not received even a promised shipping date from the company. They continue to keep lying about the shipping date as they have no actual inventory and I highly suspect they dont even have an actual product. I was promised a discount that would be put back onto my original payment (card) and yet weeks later I have not received this refund. Stay away from this company! They will never answer a single phone call (on purpose they said) (I imagine this is because they are great at making false promises). I have sent multiple emails and have yet to get any actual real information out of this ghost company.

Update: Did finally receive the glasses. The tint function works. The audio is pretty terrible however which was expected based on other reviews. If you order a pair expect to take a while.

They made a mistake but eventually fixed it

This company is a scam. Their customer service consists of AI chatbots who keep promising to ‘resolve’ your issues but nothing ever happens. I ordered a pair of their sunglasses for GBP230 in mid July. They then told me they were out of stock (but took my money anyway). I told them I couldn’t wait for a restock so I cancelled my my order and requested a refund on 18th July. It’s now 28th August and NO REFUND.

I have had about 10 responses from their AI chat bot customer service pretending that they are actioning my refund, which is a lie as it shouldn’t take over a month to refund a credit card purchase. I will now be making a formal claim through my credit card company. Avoid Chamelo at all costs. They are out to rip you off and steal your money.

UPDATE - After escalating the matter over several weeks, I was finally refunded. Chamelo could do with improving the timeliness of their responses regards customer service and refund issues as the initial response time was unacceptable.

I placed an order for the Dusk Lifestyle bundle back in June. After months of spotty communication with “customer support” I was finally promised that my order would be shipped by the 3rd week of August when the product came back into stock with a small 30% refund. To no surprise, my order still has not shipped. Keep in mind the dusk glasses have been listed as in stock on their website the entire time so I can only imagine how many people are getting scammed out of $300. I know they’ll reply to this review with an excuse, but there is no excuse for this long of a delay with no communication or compensation.

I am updating as a response to the company’s reply to this review.
As far as “generalizing” every customer’s experience with this company, I am not. I can only go off of what I know from experience and what I see. Based off of the terrible reviews, rating, and other people having the same issues with multiple products that are listed as in stock on their website, I do not believe I am “generalizing” this company.
I am also loosely using the word scam, but as far as I am concerned, charging someone, saying their product will be shipped out shortly, and not delivering after 3 months is a borderline scam. I can see that some people actually received their order, but I stand by my statement and say it is a huge gamble to purchase from Chamelo.
Customer service did respond to one of my emails saying they would process a refund if I provided the order number and reason for cancellation, which I included in EVERY email including the one that said I want a refund. After that, radio silence. After reaching out over a week later, I was given the false promise of August and the small discount.
I stand by my statement and recommendation to not order from this company.
I have requested another refund and I will update this review stating wether I get the refund or not.

Radio silence from customer care

Placed order on August 21st. Order number #26678. It said it will be processed in 2-5 business days. I had placed it as a birthday gift and was looking forward to delivery. Instead I got an email saying it might get delayed due to high volume. Since then I have tried multiple ways to contact the team. Dropped emails and calls. Silence. At least let me know what the current timeline looks like. Will it take a week more? A month more? Why is the customer care not responding to anything?

If I could give 0 stars I would. It seems like they aren’t a serious company and they definitely don’t care about their customers once you buy something. I have been trying for over 3 months to return a pair of glasses I was sent. I showed them video proof that the glasses weren’t working and they told me they’d send me a return label but they never did. And trying to contact support is just a joke. Often times they don’t even reply to your emails.
