Ordered online Midleton Cork
Ordered online. Order went to Midleton Cork where they decided to send out only half of the order. I tried calling them but no answer. I am now chasing the second half of the order with 2 weeks and will probably will need to pay for delivery again.

Info on online store not accurate. Poor customer service.
I placed an order online for delivery. It said delivery was gonna take 2-3 days. Received a phone call the following morning telling me that the board strength I ordered wasn’t available but a thinner one. After I agreed to the thinner boards and a refund of the price difference I was informed that delivery was only gonna happen the following week (5-6 days). We collected the OSB boards ourselves instead. The staff at the store was very friendly and said to contact Chadwick’s to have the delivery fee refunded. I emailed both, the store and the general customer care, addresses asking if I could get the delivery fee refunded however did not receive a reply back at all after 11 days.

Chadwicks Santry Highly recommend
Seen a fence online that was great value but I wanted to see it before buying. Went to Chadwicks in Santry and Tommy was so helpful seen the fence and was happy with it. Tommy also helped me pick and order a suitable alternative to the concrete board that goes below the fence, as concrete would not be manageable with the weight of it. Tommy sorted everything with the order and arranged delivery. Delivery was as scheduled. Highly recommend Chadwicks Santry.

Fence panels
Ordered fence panels but they were out of stock. Gothem elsewhere. Employee was very responsive via e mail and kept me informed. Card refunded immediately.

16/07/2026. The Sales Rep., Michael Kelly, was honest about when the delivery could be made. As we needed the materials before Chadwicks would be in a position to deliver, (we didn't give much notice in fairness), you were able to use your discretion and let the very experienced tradesman collect the materials and cut them down to size so that they could be loaded on his own trailer. (He would have been happy to sign any indemnity forms.) This allowed everyone to keep the work going and move on to the next job as planned. Several people and jobs would have been negatively impacted if we couldn't get the materials we needed that day. Thank you for letting us all keep moving.

Sales and delivery staff in Gorey branch
The delivery staff in Gorey couldn't have been more helpful. I am unable to move a pallet due to medical issues. I explained this to the sales person Mary and she obviously passed the message on. Today when I got the text with a 2.5 hour window (which I thought was reasonable) I spoke to the manager Michael requesting the driver call me when outside the house as I wouldn't have been able to see him arrive. Colin called me when he was outside the house. He had got the message about my predicament and very kindly brought the items inside the gate. All the staff were so pleasant and kind and went beyond expectations.
