Don't spend your money
Don't spend your money. I've done 30 moves and this was the worst.Got the date wrong, got the address wrong. Got a phone call asking how I will pay extra in overtime day before. Staff's attitude was negative, constantly looking at watch complaining about time, yet move was done within time period with my help. Threw boxes on trolley and six dinner plates were smashed at bottom of box. Really annoyed.
Rung to complain and was told to fill in complaint form which conveniently was not sent. Stay clear of this crowd, only after your money and customer service poor. I do not recommend.

Amazing experience
We Didnt have much things to move out. Again everything went smoothly. Workers were very polite. Waested no time and got straight into work. The workers were very precise about making sure we got everything moved into the truck with care and safely to our next home, everything was moved inside our new home safely and had to double check the truck before leaving, incase for any missing items in the truck.

Efficiency and courtesy
From start to finish the whole experience was very smooth and efficient. Cost was very reasonable and movers were polite and obliging. Perhaps protective blankets were forgotten in the truck that day but would be a very worthwhile addition in future especially when moving furniture which was our experience. Would definitely use this service again

Efficient and careful movers
The two gents were fantastic. They were polite, responsive to requests, understood directions. They took great care to wrap the furniture well and handled the furniture with care.

Pretty Good
Pretty Good. Even though it was a rainy day. Charged me an extra $50 or so because of the massage chair and I wasn't told about this beforehand. We couldn't find our coffee anywhere even though it was supposed to be in one of the boxes.

Got the wrong day and address
This is a genuine review of CBD Movers Wellington which has offices all over NZ and Australia.
First they got the wrong day!
Then got the wrong address. True!
Quoted $65 callout, $130 per hour, $30 extra for approx 20 stairs (to access property). Just moving one single item across Wellington - a 15 minute drive.
When they got to the delivery location, the mover guy wanted to charge $90 for a few more stairs and $100 more for a short path with one bend in it (maybe 20 metres). The extra pricing made no sense given it was $30 for 20 steps. The stairs were brand new and had just been built so we did not know exact number of steps but did not expect an unreasonable price hike.
Mover guy was a third party (CBD outsourced the job by the way) who made me ring head office to discuss the extra $190.
HQ kept me on hold for 30 minutes.
Then the mover guy wanted to charge me more than the hour even though for 30 minutes I was on hold.
In the end, we moved the item down the path and extra steps ourselves.
The mover guy was rude, transactional and used stand-over tactics. They even dropped the item at one point.
Would not recommend or use CBD Movers in Wellington again.
They absolutely have my records despite the flippant comment from CBD Movers below. My booking reference was 6904886 and I will upload an image to prove it.
