I spent a total of $30 on Roblox Gift Cards or £22 (because I reside in the UK) and my friends say they cannot view the link that i've sent to them because it says Page Not Found, so I tried going on the link myself and it said the same thing, i've sent an inquiry to Customer Support more than half a day ago and still no response, and calling has made it all the more difficult especially because i'm in the UK.

Received a usual promotional e-mail from a restaurant which I have a rewards card for (Sizzling Pubs). They were promoting a discount on gift cards so I went through the steps to purchase an e-gift card but received no order confirmation or the e-gift card itself as I arranged to have it directly sent to me.
I submitted a customer enquiry via the form on the site but not heard back so called customer services today (0331 630 5409) and spoke to Sam. He asked for some details but could not track my order and did not offer any alternative to try and help. Just kept reverting back to "I am unable to locate your order m'am". When I asked how I could escalate this, I was told to refer to the website. I confirmed I already submitted a form and calling was my only option left so I've now had to raise a dispute with my bank to try and get my money back!

I have paid £50 for a Roblox giftcard and I have not recieved my giftcard through email. They happily take my money, but provide me with nothing. I am extremely disappointed Roblox would pick such an awful service. Either provide me with my giftcard, or I want my money back.

This evening, I purchased a gift card via Hotels.com and it directed me to page to get this gift card.
I have completed the order, and I still have not recieved anything though via email or via the portal.
I have tried to sign in, but when I do this, I get no email and no link comes through.
I am very concerned that this is a scam and don't know what to do now.
Please can someone help regarding this, I have tried "Live help" but this does not work at all.
I have sent a customer service message, but still nothing.
Why is this so hard just to get a simple gift card.

I had to cancel an order I made (using both a gift card balance and my credit card). I got an email saying order was cancelled, and I would get a refund of both gift card and credit card. I then tried to use my gift card and it is showing that the "card has no available funds left." Tried calling CashStar and the automated message says I have $0 on my card. Horrible service. No one likes the feeling of having lost money. Companies should not be using CashStar. Even if it is not the company's fault, I will think twice about purchasing anything from a website that uses CashStar.

For some weird reason I got a Wawa gift card as a class action settlement (yes it was legit), and I was directed to this website to collect it. With the website open in the background, I noticed my computer wasn't going to sleep anymore when unattended.
After doing some investigation, I found that this site was constantly trying to open WebRTC connections to an API on BlackRock's website. In the few hours I had the tab open, CashStar tried to send OVER SEVEN THOUSAND tracking requests without my consent. I closed the tab, and my computer started working normally again.
If you can avoid using this website, please do so. It's extremely sketchy.

More than 30 minutes ago I bought a £250 egift voucher from CashStar for our work Christmas meal at the Queen's Arms. It said it would arrive in minutes and it hasn't. No email and no link. I can't find any customer services to contact, the telephone number 866 does not work, no live chat, no way of contacting CashStar. I am really worried particularly given that so many people have had problems with their gift cards and getting issues resolved. The link was saying wait a few minutes to see the egift card and now it is saying 'eGift cannot be viewed'. Please can someone help ASAP? Thank you.
22/11/2025 Update - I called the pub from whose website I bought the vouchers from and they gave me an email address to contact (Guest Care). They referred me to another email address to contact (Blackhawk) with a telephone number. I emailed Blackhawk (no reply) and I called the number and spoke to Alfred who looked up my order and explained that there was a “problem” with my order which was not visible to me, but visible to them, which required the order to be reviewed by another team. Whilst he was trying to help, this made little sense to me as my order had been confirmed when the payment was made, but no voucher received. He said someone would call me back in 2-3 hours, which they didn’t. I have now supplied the order reference as requested via Maurice’s CashStar response on Trust Pilot (below). I am at a loss to understand why it is so difficult to contact CashStar for help, and I still don’t have the £250 voucher purchased yesterday. Please help. Thank you.
23/11/2025 Update - thank you Maurice, but I am none the wiser as to what the issue is and why I have not received the £250 voucher which I ordered and paid for 2 days ago.
I have not received any communication from CashStar other the updates below, no promised call and still no solution or timescale as to when this will be resolved. This is very concerning and disappointing. Please can the voucher be supplied or a refund issue ASAP?
24/11/2025 Update - 3 days after purchasing a £250 gift card and still NOT received.
8:36 am - The voucher finally arrived after trying the link again, which finally worked (having previously said 'eGift cannot be viewed').
Very disappointed with the level of customer services which is not joined up. No explanation for what the internal "problem" was with my order or reason for the delay.

J'ai commandé une carte de Roblox deux fois (valeur 20€ chaque fois) pour l'anniversaire de mon fils. Chaque fois j'ai été debitée et j'ai récu un message disant que la transaction a été annulée à cause d'un problème avec la banque (???). Pourtant zéro problème pour CashStar de me débiter et de ne me pas rembourser de suite. Il ne s'agit pas d'une transaction compliquée ni d'une valeur improbable alors j'ai des grosses doutes sur la legitimité de cette organisation. En tant que partenaire, Roblox devrait aussi les denoncer. A FUIR!

Ni se os ocurra. La tarjeta regalo da fallo y te comunican que sera reembolsado. Procedes a comprarla en otro lugar, al de varios dias te escriben diciendo que finalmente se ha enviado. Por lo que gastas en la tarjeta que compras en otro lugar, y luego sin consentimiento (dado que se supone se estaba gestionando el reembolso) te cobran en cashtar. Estafadores.

I ordered from GameStop and they said they’d refund me with a virtual gift card through cashstar. I never received anything in my email spam/junk/promotion, nothing received. I tried to message cashstar about the gift card, but since GameStop bought it I didn’t have the necessay information. GameStop is telling me that cashstar sent it on 10/24/25 but still I didn’t receive anything.

Cashstar called me and told me why I didn’t receive the virtual gift card, apparently Gamestop never sent the funds. During my call with cashstar I got transferred to GameStop Support and explained the issue. 2-3 business days later Cashstar sent me the virtual gift card. I’m happy how fast cashstar contacted me, idk if GameStop would have sent it over if they didn’t, because they kept telling me it was already sent.

I used cashstar to attempt to by a lululemon gift card for my sister's bday. Lululemon uses cashstar and links to it from their website. My first attempt to purchase a gift card seemed to go through as I received a successful confirmation message initially, only to receive an immediate subsequent email that my order was cancelled for unknown reasons, absolutely no description of what went wrong. So I tried again, same results. I then logged into my bank account to see two pending charges, seems that cashstar will charge your credit card prior to performing any checks on your information. Now I'm stuck waiting for them to return my money, after talking to their customer service they said to wait another 2 days (its already been 2) to see if I get my money back, otherwise have my bank handle it! What kind of software/payment workflow charges you before actually validating all information? Cashstar!!!

Update: Issue was resolved. Turned out the card had been sent to my paypal email, not the email I requested it be sent to in the order form. Customer service reissued the card to the correct email address.
Original review: Bought a £20 gift card online for myself to add to my PSN account. Received an email link to view the card, but there is no card and my account still has £0. Tried contacting the customer support and got nothing back, tried to claim the money back through Paypal and lost that claim.

Straight up scam! They take your money with their broken service (broken for 4 years...) and only release the cash after some time... if at all!! You're literally just giving them a zero-interest loan!!

Worse company I have ever gone with. Very surprised big company’s use them. Cause these people like to steal your money. IMO! There a big scam. They keep telling me refund on the way. Ordered a $75 gift card through PlayStation and they keep telling me they did not take my money. But they are full of it. Don’t ever use this company what ever u do. I am always very careful usually. But this one tricked me good. Hope big company’s stop using um gonna give um a bad name. So like I said. Scam,scam,scam

J’ai commandé une carte Robux d’une valeur de 15 € le samedi 1er novembre sur le site de CashStar (roblox.cashstar.com).
La livraison était annoncée pour le jour même, mais nous sommes le lundi 3 novembre et je n’ai toujours rien reçu !
Aucun e-mail avec le code, aucune mise à jour, rien.
C’est inacceptable pour un service présenté comme officiel.
J’exige de recevoir ma carte Robux immédiatement ou d’être remboursé.
Sinon, pour moi, c’est clairement du scam.
Je déconseille fortement ce site tant qu’ils ne règlent pas leurs problèmes de livraison!!!

Ich habe per Mail einen PSN-Gutschein in Höhe von 20 € als Geschenk erhalten. Wenn ich auf den Link in der Mail klicke, werde ich weitergeleitet auf die Seite von cashstar und aufgefordert, meine E-Mail-Adresse einzugeben, um die Geschenkkarte zu erhalten. Doch trotz korrekter Eingabe der Adresse, erscheint jedes Mal eine Fehlermeldung und und die Aufforderung, es später erneut zu versuchen, was nichts bringt.
Natürlich habe ich mich bereits an den Kundensupport gewandt, wurde dort jedoch bereits 3 mal mit derselben Standard-Mail abgespeist, die in keinster Weise auf mein Problem eingeht und trotzdem tagelang auf sich warten lässt. Die Enttäuschung ist daher natürlich groß.
UPDATE:
Das Problem konnte mittlerweile gelöst werden. Zwar hat es lange gedauert und der Fehler war unglücklich, trotzdem hat es nun funktioniert.
