Bought a car one year and two months…

Bought a car one year and two months ago how the issue after 12 days and he’s getting reported they they sent me to different garages plus they kept the car with them mentioning they will repair themselves. They haven’t done anything to the car and the car has been sat in the garage me paying over £1000 a month total equivalent of £14,000 loss they don’t acknowledge anything they just lie constantly you’ve been numerous time to the branch asking to speak with the manager director somebody higher than the person in of the sales department and they tell me is nobody to speak with.

Scammer sold me a car full of rust underneath, got to a mechanic with a full report the car would not pass an mot , because i am under 30 days i am entitled to return the car , returned on Wednesday today is Monday no answer, they don't reply to emails and on the phone they put me on hold and after a while they said they can't contact the mechanics, happened twice today.I asked for a manager..he said he is on brake , scammers and keeping me with my founds blocked, no car .. money taken .Will get in touch with a 3rd party solicitor because they are taking the Mikey

I noticed the oil leak from my car and when I went to the garage for fixing the spectrum guys rejected the claim. They are doing fraud under the warranty name. Don’t buy car giant warranty ever

BEWARE OF CAR GIANT AT ALL COSTS. please all of those given negative comments i am happy to come together and take this further, this is ridiculous.
I purchased the Mercedes EQC Reg - on the 19th October,
details of logged emails from the date of the purchase to all the faults called to complaint about the faults

1st report - 13th November 2024 Fault Noise as car drives
2nd report - 11th Feb 2025 Fault Dashboard showed an error sign
3rd Report 19th April 2025 Fault - Car moves and stops , moves and stops
I purchased my vehicle in October 2024. While I was fully aware that it was a second-hand car, one of the main reasons I chose to buy from Car Giant—as I have done in the past—instead of a private seller, was the confidence and assurance your company provides regarding vehicle history and reliability. I expected that I was purchasing a car with no major faults and one that could be driven reliably for at least a few years.

Unfortunately, this has not been the case.

Shortly after purchase, I began to notice a strange noise while driving. I contacted Car Giant, and the vehicle was taken to Mercedes for diagnosis and repair. A few weeks later, I received the car back. However, not long after this, an error message appeared on the dashboard. Once again, I reported the issue, and the vehicle was sent to Mercedes and, I was told, repaired.

Approximately a month after that second repair, while driving, the car began to stop intermittently. I could barely drive any distance without the vehicle cutting out. I reported the issue to Car Giant again and was advised to contact Mercedes directly to arrange for the car to be taken in. I was extremely disappointed to learn that I had to pay out of pocket to have the car towed to Mercedes.

To add to my frustration, the customer service representative I spoke to at Car Giant was dismissive and rude, repeatedly insisting that the issue had nothing to do with Car Giant and that I was solely responsible for getting a software update, as advised by Mercedes. I fail to understand how a software issue could cause the car to completely shut down while driving. Nonetheless, I just wanted the issue resolved.

Mercedes eventually informed me the software update had been completed and that the vehicle was ready for collection. However, when I went to pick it up and attempted to drive it away, the car stopped again—before I had even left their premises.

Given the repeated issues and the significant inconvenience and distress this has caused, I have already requested—and I continue to insist on—a return and refund for this vehicle. I have not had any peace of mind or enjoyment from this car since the day I purchased it. It has spent more time in repair than on the road. I am no longer comfortable owning a car that has had so many faults from the outset, and I am particularly concerned about the potential costs and risks once the warranty period ends. And now barely 6 months car giant is trying to wash their hands off

i am now calling car giant and they are telling me they cant take it further, i have barely got to enjoy this car only bought it Oct and since then it has being in and out in the mercedes garage and it will be there for weeks, so to be honest i have not even gotten to really drive this car. one problem after another. and now car giant being rude about it is not willing to help. how can you buy a car between 6 months and 1 fault after another . and now the car that will not start is right now in the mercedes workshop and cargiant refusing to do anything about it i am afraid that if i take responsibility it will cost me thousands a car i have barely gotten to drive. How is this fair. i would have taken my chances and bought a private sale and known that the responsibility is mine. but i trusted CAR giant.. Anyone reading please advice me who can i take to. i am writing to the Ombudsman but i need to take this further. so if anyone can tell me who to reach out to , i will also find out about lawyers. because this is ridiculous.

Called them today to discuss part exchange a Mercedes GLA Sport 200d for a Range Rover Evoque and they put the phone down on me. I will not be taking my business there unfortunately. So rude and disrespectful, Never Again!!!! No money for you! I do have another word for them, but I'm too much of a lady to stooped down to their level.

Scammers and rude sales Staff!

My Dad brought a electric car from them for £1850.00 he asked about the range before it was purchased they told him 300 hence why he brought it. When he got home tried to charge it the range only went to 100!! called them up they said to bring the car in the following week they will check it. He dropped it off a week later they said the range will only go up t0 120-130 but he cant use his AC! Told them that it was sold under false pretense and we want to retune as within 30day period they said we can but will only get 16000.00 because of depreciation then Ali tried to bully him into getting another car from the lot for that price...when i called and spoke to Megan and the sales rep Ali who was so rude he said the manufacture had told them its 300 in range so its not in error i explained its a second hand car and they should have checked the range before saying it was 300. Megan who kindly helped us has issued a refund as found discrepancies in the sales and when documents were signed! PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! THEY ARE SCAMMERS. The sales reps give false information and are rude. I feel bad for the back office Admin and complainant’s staff. Please if you have issues keep calling and get your issues resolved.

I had a test drive on the 15th December 24 and during the test drive there was an engine noise the sales rep promised to have it looked. On the 19 December 24 I picked up the car in GOOD FAITH !!! Again the noise was from the engine I informed Car GAINT on the same day they would not acknowldge my compain and rejection of the car its surprising the car was not entered into there systems its only when I rang up and the car was booked for the 15th Jan 25 I wonder why the booked the returns so long ? So they can block me from the 30 Day period consumer protection section 15 they wanted me to miss this act. I asked if I can take it to VAUXHALL but it was refused its too expenseive and they take too long however I took the car a a proffessional garage where issues were identfied and CAR GIANT did not agreee to the report instead ask me to drop the car which I did they kept the car for SIX days coming back there is nothing wrong with the car which I disagree why would one keep the car for SIX days (We are not that thick) we know the car has been repaired I refused to collect they threathen to charge me £25 for storage when challanged they say its parked on Car Giant (PRIVATE) land they don't have parking space then this tactic did not work they then threaten to leave the car on double yellow lines again this tactic did not work they dropped the car at my home forcefully !! Yes that's RIGHT and on restriction parking zone also car arrived damaged pictures mailed . Be reminded CAR GIANT this does not end here I will challange you with your implied actions SEE YOU IN COURT - I WOULD NEVER BUT A CAR FROM THESE ROUGS MAY I ASK WHY THEY DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARD ????? ALSO THEY SKIPPED ADR TO YOU THIS MAY BE THE END I MUST REMIND YOU ARE BOUND BY CONSUMER PROTECTION SECTION 15 . THESE REVIEWS DOES NOT END HERE KARMA WILL CATCH UP WITH YOU I HOPE YOU FOLD ONE DAY WHICH IS VERY SOON GOD WILLING

Would you buy a car from here? I personally wouldn’t
The staff are all robotic with hardly any knowledge of cars. They are told to learn scrip’s which makes them all give the same replies to questions you ask. The staff have individual targets, if not met have a review and the company comes down harsh on them. They really don’t give a crap about customers there just numbers and want to flog dodgy cars to meet there targets. The reason I say dodgy is upon closely looking at cars I can see most of the cars have had previous unrecorded damage as i'very seen cars with a complete respray on one side done badly, car panels not aligned properly, incorrect tyres on cars or tyres with just about meeting the legal requirement, beak pads so thin that will require changing in under 100 miles, guaranteed to see many imperfections upon looking at the car closely, they wont tell you anything bad about the car and don’t even offer a test drive but offer a demo drive which is like a few minutes drive so can’t even drive in all gears as it’s a small side streets only. They also want to sell you guard x and all the other crap to make more commission as the staff get more commission selling all these other extras and less on the cars. Guard x is a total waste of money it doesn’t do what it says on the tin. This is how they will speak to you....."So what do you think of the car Dave? Do you like it Dave? Where are you from Dave? Where do you live Dave? Yeah it's nice isn't it Dave? Are you going to put a deposit down Dave?"
They will sell you a ticking time bomb with no qualms about reneging on their point of sale overtures. Example: Vehicle 5% oil level light would illuminate after 2 weeks, took vehicle to Vauxhall who found a failed drive shaft seal, and melted glove box lamp cover for one customer. If after you buy the car and got RAC to inspect it your guaranteed to have faults. Once you have bought the car that’s it if you come back and complain they won’t want to know

Very disappointing experience with…

Very disappointing experience with Cargiant. All I requested was to meet the responsible manager at the company, but that didn’t happen. I contacted Audi, and they confirmed the car is with them and should be ready next week or the week after.

I informed Cargiant that I am traveling with my family to Europe using this car and requested a replacement vehicle of the same value or equivalent. Instead, they provided me with a car worth only £2,000, which is completely unacceptable.

The purchase was based on assurances from their legal representative that the car was in Audi for repairs and that everything was clear in their records. However, they disregarded this. I requested a return of the car and a full refund, but this was refused.

It is unreasonable to purchase a car, and within two months, it has been out of service for over a month without resolution.

Do not buy from Cargiant, extra charge without any reason

Do not buy from Cargiant. Cargiant is full of scams. I did pay £15299 for my car and they charge for super Gard. It's around £500. without doing anything they take this money. whatever we saw on display we received the same. we pay super just to guard color. Evan, they do not clean the car properly. I 100% believe this service is a scam. without doing anything they take money. Tomorrow I am going to cancel the mechanical warranty which was around £1500 for 3 years. admin fee £199 and another £10 for something. I am 100% unhappy and their approach is what the f*** you are, we are a big company we have all rights. I just went back after 4 hours they said why not check on that time. ( SH21 XPX)

Awful Service, Really Annoyed and Disappointed

Bought a Kia from Car Gaint and paid over 20k all money in one go. After the sale completed I discovered that there's big issues with the documents i.e service history and stuff. I have been contacting the customer service agents pretty much every single day but did not get through to any helpful person. I have chased them up since I purchased the from August 2022 till October but no luck. Then I went to main dealer for find a solution and they advised without service history the car warranty is not valid.

Then contacted Car Gaint again and explain the all situation as this a big investment whereas I didn't go through finance and I don't want to lose my warranty for over 5 years. Nothing changes, they seems as soon as they get rid of the car their job done and you go to hell. They not really bothered after the sales completed and I am out of pocket using my new car without warranty in it. The car first registered on January 2020 and the warranty supposed to be till January 2027 because of Car Gaint negligence I do not have that.

I am avoiding and the people I know telling them to avoid do not buy from them, best to buy from main dealer i.e. Kia, Toyota, MG and so on.

I am really upset and that's the first car I spent all my savings for last 10 years, really disappointed and gave me a massive shock.

5 cars all excellent

I’ve bought 5 care through Cargiant and 3 friends and family have all bought through my recommendation.
All used care come with a risk but I’ve always had great cars and excellent service. Nik helped through this one with comprehensive help through videos because of lockdown.

I was given excellent support when…

I was given excellent support when needed by Livier and I’m very thankful . He helped me throughout my whole situation and find the suitable car for me and my family and also let me know that the company can help me at any time regarding an issue with the car. I would definitely recommend cargiants to my family members. Thank you to Livier and the other staff members during this difficult time
