Ordering was easy and delivery was…
Ordering was easy and delivery was prompt, however, my roses were laid sideways in their box, with compost spilling out all inside the box. The issue seems to be the fault of whoever packed them. As the arrows on the box where pointing up, suggesting that was the right way up, when it wasn't, the box should have stood on its end, instead of lying on its side. Please make sure in future you put them in the right box with arrows pointing the right way.

We're sorry to hear that some compost had spilled inside the box during transit.
We would just like to clarify that our parcels are intentionally packed with the plants lying on their sides. The arrows on the outside of the box indicate the correct orientation for handling and transporting the parcel, helping to prevent the plants from being turned upside down during delivery.
We appreciate that this may not have been clear, but please be assured that the packaging was arranged as intended.
We apologise for any mess caused by the loose compost and hope your roses are settling in well.

Disappointing. Gift ordered for next day delivery but didn’t leave till the morning it was meant to be delivered despite ordering in plenty of time. Was told Royal Mail delays were to blame but no issue with the 24 hr service - issue with the dispatch. Prompt response on email but no offer of a refund for the premium delivery option paid for.

Bulbs were small one particular bulb was tiny Only really got twenty viable cloves everything I’ve read about growing garlic says save ur largest cloves for seed most of these wouldn’t bother peeling for food

Beware ...you will not get what you ordered and not in the condition you would expect
The plants arrived quickly but badly packaged...all squashed in higgedly piggedly with insufficient protection so that the soil was loose and everywhere! NONE of the plants were upright so that a lot of the plants (a collection of succulents and cacti) were broken and/or had become completely unpotted and covered in soil...I know of no method to clean the soil off the top of a cactus! I will never ever order plants online and certainly not from this company.
Some further points:
1 the 10 "Cactus Indoor Mix" that arrived looks nothing like the cactii on the website.
2 What arrived is a collection of succulents minus the ceramic pots shown on the website - in other words I did NOT get the plants I ordered. NOT ONE OF THE SUCCULENTS IS A CACTUS - SURELY THAT IS NOT A FAIR SUBSTITUTION!!! I can see now that the company explanation says they can substitute based on availability and they say that somewhere in their smallprint is written that no ceramic pots are included ...I hope that others take note of this that what you get may end up bearing NO resemblance to what you order or what you see on the website.!!!
3 and NO labelling or care instructions!!! These definitely were NOT in the box and no labels are on the pots. In contrast, I bought a cactus from Morrisons a few months ago for £3 which came with a ceramic pot and a clear label with care instructions!
I have learnt an important less here...I will never ever order plants online again.
I am definitely NOT happy with the company response. They obviously care as little about customer satisfaction as they do about the way they package and send plants randomly because they can hide behind the smallprint that they can substitute any plant with another!!!

Having reviewed the photograph provided, the plants appear healthy and in generally good condition, with no obvious signs of significant damage across the collection. We do appreciate that some soil may have become loose and that plants can occasionally shift during transit.
We would also like to clarify a few points regarding the product purchased.
The Cactus Indoor Mix is an assorted collection, meaning the varieties supplied can vary depending on seasonal availability and current stock. The product images are representative of the collection, rather than a guarantee of the exact plants pictured.
The decorative ceramic pots shown in the listing images are for illustration purposes only and are not included with the plants. This information is stated within the product description, and the plants are supplied in their standard nursery pots.
Regarding care instructions, our standard packing procedure includes a care leaflet with a scannable QR code providing access to further plant care guidance. We're sorry to hear that you were unable to locate this in your parcel.
We appreciate that the collection may not have matched your expectations and are sorry that your experience has been disappointing.

Packaging needs to be more robust
Thankfully, the plant arrived intact although the flimsy box was damaged and open along one side. The plant is smaller than expected and many of the leaves are yellow - needs some TLC. I look forward to seeing the plant bloom next year and the tri-colours as shown on the website. Suggest the nursery uses more robust packaging.

We take care when packaging our plants to help protect them during delivery and appreciate your feedback regarding the box.
Regarding the appearance of your plant, many outdoor plants naturally begin to lose their foliage or show some yellowing as we move into autumn and they prepare for their winter dormancy. This is a normal part of their seasonal growth cycle and does not necessarily indicate that the plant is unhealthy.
We understand that the plant may appear smaller than expected at this time of year, but we hope you enjoy watching it establish and produce its beautiful tri-coloured blooms next season.

Poor Packaging, Damaged Plants, but Goodwill Partial Refund
I ordered a mix of 10 succulents. Unfortunately, they arrived in terrible condition, with broken leaves on many of the plants. This was due to poor packaging, as the plants had been placed on top of one another and wrapped in brown paper inside the box.
The company issued a 15% refund (as a gesture of good will, as they put it) and, when I explained that I felt the refund was insufficient (I had expected 50%), they offered a full refund if I returned the plants. However, I don't want to risk causing further damage to the poor plants during return shipping, so I have decided to keep them.
Plants are living things, and they deserve more care.
I would strongly recommend that the company improves its packaging to ensure that plants are properly protected during shipping and arrive in good condition.

Our plants are carefully packaged to help protect them during transit, although unfortunately some damage can occasionally occur during delivery.
Upon being made aware of your concerns, we issued a 15% partial refund as a gesture of goodwill. When you advised that you were unhappy with this resolution, we also offered the option of returning the plants for a full refund.
We feel it is important to clarify that a full refund was offered, but you chose to keep the plants rather than proceed with the return.
We appreciate your feedback regarding the packaging and will take your comments on board as we continue to review our packing methods.
