Lovely guy excellent service as my tap was peeling. No arguments customer service was second to none.

We had a new kitchen fitted a year ago.
Sourcing all the appliances ourselves, my brother warned me that every Caple item he had ever bought had not lasted the course.
So the only Caple item we bought was a cream composite double sink.
To say it looks cheap, stained, and generally crap after one year of very minor use, would be an understatement.
Be warned; their products are generally poor quality, short lasting, and expensive to repair.
AVOID!

I purchased the WI6135 under‑counter wine cabinet in March 2023. For the first year and a half it worked as expected, but unfortunately the unit failed just over a month ago — now out of warranty. I was advised to contact a local engineer to diagnose the issue, which cost me an £80 call‑out fee.

The engineer identified the problem within minutes: the compressor had failed. I was quoted around £800 for replacement parts and labour, with only a 30‑day guarantee on the repair due to the way the compressor is factory‑sealed. I was extremely disappointed to learn that a product costing £800 could suffer such a major failure so quickly, especially when the repair cost is essentially the price of a new unit.

Overall, I’m very unhappy with the durability of this appliance and the lack of long‑term reliability. A wine cabinet at this price point should last significantly longer than this, and customers shouldn’t be facing near‑replacement costs for a core component so soon after purchase.

Purchased a wine cooler for a new kitchen.. it stopped working after 2 years.
i contacted customer services, who promptly sent our a service technician to fix the fault. unfortunately, the issue couldnt be fixed, so i was supplied with a replacement.
have to say the customer service was excellent.

I bought a separate built in fridge and freezer three years ago and both appliances are already broken. Caple charged be £175 for each appliance to send out an engineer. Engineers are unreliable and not very helpful. They couldn't fix either of the appliances and caple said there is nothing further they can do . For both appliance's to fail after three years shows that they are not good quality. Moral of the story, do not buy Caple.
