If I could give 0 I would. This company is atrocious, incompetent and uncaring. I am still waiting for pension statements for the years ended 2024 and 2025. I have called and emailed nearly 100 times now and still not been provided with my pension information. Avoid at all costs if at all possible.

If it were possible to give zero that's what it would be. After giving intention to retire in October 2025 and retiring March 2026, I am still waiting for a quote of what I will receive, I will be lucky to start receiving pension this side of Christmas. Many thousands of people are in the same situation, Disgusting way to treat people who have given 20+ years service. I would leave a comment on their FB page but they have disabled commenting due to all the negativity already on there.

I'm not going to review Capita on helping get my benefits cut. That's what they do. I'm also not going to review them on late benefits or the cuts themselves. That's the DWP. I say this so you know there is no confusion on my part about what this company is expected to do, what they actually do, and how they go about it.

I put in for a change of circumstances - as my doctor diagnosed me as Type-2 Diabetic. Something that has incurred extra costs with new dietary. This is the only change to my circumstances. In the call to the Capita, the call was handled by two female agents, with myself being male. They were more than happy to enter the details I had before, as this was not a fresh claim, but a change of circumstances. That is, until we got to the bathing section - which they required more details about. I expressed my unease - as it had nothing to do with the diabetes. I questioned why they would need to have me go into detail - as they'd been happy to copy over the details from my previous form until this point. It got to the point, where they were pressing to details of my intimate areas that I snapped and ended the call. I logged a complaint of sexual misconduct, and sexual harassment - which was handled internally and they found themselves not a fault.

They found THEMSELVES not at fault.

One star as minus stars not available. My wife passed away on January 7th. Tell us once form submitted within 10 days. It is now June 25th and despite actually managing to speak to someone a few weeks back still no pension no correspondence no contact whatsoever. They apparently prioritise bereavement related claims so God help anyone with a straightforward claim. Absolutely horrendous service and they don't seem to care.

Giving Capita the Civil Service pension contract-what an absolute insult to us.
Even the exiting PM mentioned the lifelong dedication and hard work of civil servants and yet they have not paid my pension on time, or that owed to thousands of civil servants.
I have now decided I am being told any old rubbish by their call centre staff to get me off the phone-although I have been patient and considerate. I’ve heard nothing. NOTHING for 6 months.
What do you think we are living on Capita?
I have a lifelong disability, yet have still worked for 40 years and have looked forward to retirement. Capita are causing hardship, heartache and anxiety. Where are our payments ? Where is the money you owe me?
Does the CEO even care? I doubt it very much.

This company is beyond bad they will tell you they can’t do anything to assist . Emails forwarded to you but you cannot respond to has they are not monitored a portal that you cannot access and some staff that are rude beyond belief do not invest with these Cowboys. Coming up to three months to try and get a drawdown off my pension benefit only as far as day one after multiple calls beyond a joke.

Clearly not.Their website is truly dreadful - that's if your anti virus software lets you see it. Given that they have about the lowest score of any organisation on Trustpilot I must give them 5 stars so now they will have 3 !

Horrendous. I cannot rate this firm low enough they are the administrators for my pension and after over 8 months so far they are still saying I have to be patient. Simply awful customer service

My pension with AXA is through Capita and the website for managing my pension (Hartlink) is substandard. I am constantly being locked out of it and have to keep trying to reset my login details. Also, it keeps asking me for an answer to a security question which is "make of first car" I have no clue what this would be, as I have never owned a car. The emails I get sent resetting my password and pin never seem to work.

Why do any government depts of councils continue to use Capita? A litany of failing outsourcing Home Office cancelled a computer contract, and a council cancelled failed pension and planning services from Capita. Now unions are challenging the government on Capita's failing civil service pension provision. Can't give a minus score s needed.

No response to enquiries about my injury benefit appeal. Shocking service and the Government should cancel their contact and stop them being awarded any Government contracts

I retired in March 2026.
Having giving notice that I was going to retire in December 2025.Despite many phone calls and e mails I have heard nothing. I have contacted higher management who don’t seem to be able to help? .
I notice that the Royal Mail has withdrawn their contract from Capita as it is not fit for purpose. Why can’t we do this.
I have worked for the DWP for over 45 years what a way to be treated by a company. Who does not respond to correspondence .This is causing financial hardship . It looks like now I won’t hear anything until August appalling service. Enough said.

I think they do medicals for British army anyway they failed me for reserves as driver once month joke honestly but that’s capita anyway guys listen to this for some anxiety 15 years ago due to losing my mum, a headache when being flashed to much in eyes 5 years ago a small cyst cut from my hand five years ago and you know what even crazier everyone I served 10 years as marine I’m problay fitter than most in this country! Just like my wife said sod them let them struggle with very tiny armed forces because that’s all it will ever be when most medicals failed

After a traumatic divorce I found myself in need of a mortgage. I had to have a pension forecast for the mortgage company. Spent hours on the phone trying to get through. In the end my manager contacted civil service pay who contacted the bosses at capital and they refused to provide a pension forecast until august. This in turn meant the mortgage company wouldn’t lend me what I wanted and I’ve had to borrow off good friends or I would be homeless. Absolutely shocking service and if I could minus stars I would

I'm a beneficiary of my late husband's pension. It took Capita until April 2025, over 3 years after my husband passed away to sort out the Death Lump Sum payment. I've ended up with a big tax bill because of the delays. It should have been tax free. I've just discovered I can file a complaint about Capita's mishandling of the lump sum and then go to HMRC for a tax refund. It's a protracted process but given it's Capita's fault I lost out when I desperately needed the money and am still being hit for tax I may try.

I rang capita today. Got an obnoxious lady. Lost account of how many times I have called them. Promises of call backs never happened. Complaint raised several times but no acknowledgement. If you have health issues you are suppose to nearly top of the list but I am not. Left work because of health issues but have received no pension or quotes. Left struggling to pay bills. Lady today could not careless. Her attitude was you are going to have to wait. No care attitude. Lack of empathy. No help at all. Rude and lack of understanding. She needs training in customer service. How to be polite.

I can't put into words how useless Capita AFRS⁸ are!!!
My son has twice applied for Army and Navy and the complete morons have rejected him both times because he dislocated his shoulder, once, in 2019! Playing cricket when he was 11yrs old!!
He has played hockey since 7 and currently plays 1st team and at county level. He goes to the gym regurarly and is extremely fit.
But! Capita keep rejecting him because of 1 injury, which fixed itself without intervention, 7YEARS AGO!!
He was already fast tracked into leadership and engineering in Navy before the mongs at Capita 'unticked' the box!
The appeal will take 28 WEEKS!
I had 19yrs in signals and know my son will have an excellent career as soldier/sailor but for Capita!

On Facebook today, shares in Capita rallied yesterday, after the outsourcing specialist reaffirmed annual guidance following a solid start to the year, your having a blo### laugh, outsourcing specialists, 💩 their portal isn't fit for purpose, thousands of low paid decent civil servants, not your high paid senior and government civil servants, haven't received their pensions, many many months after they have retired, it's an absolute disgrace, shame on you Capita, and shame on the Cabinet Office, and the government, another post office scandal.
