I recently had the misfortune of hiring Calibre Cleaning, and if I could give zero stars, I would. Their service was nothing short of appalling.

We agreed on a specific date and time for the cleaning job, but the cleaners arrived over three hours late without any meaningful communication or explanation. This delay caused significant stress and financial loss. When they finally showed up, the cleaning was subpar and did not meet the agreed-upon standards. They had to return to complete the job, which was an inconvenience and further disrupted our schedule.

The customer service was equally disappointing. Despite multiple attempts to seek a resolution, I am still waiting for a satisfactory response. They offered a mere $50 discount on a botched job that cost me well over $1,000. This token gesture does not compensate for the poor service and the stress caused.

Looking at other reviews, it seems my experience is not unique.

Calibre Cleaning's lack of professionalism, poor communication, and inadequate service are unacceptable. I strongly advise others to avoid this company and seek out more reliable and customer-focused cleaning services.

Grossly failed to live up to their own standards despite $667 premium service for a 1 bedroom appartment

I hired Calibre Cleaning for their end-of-lease service, paying $667 total including an extra $155 specifically for balcony and window cleaning. What's particularly disappointing is that they failed to meet their own published checklist standards.

Items from THEIR checklist that were missed:
- "Dust and remove cobwebs" (listed for every room) - ceiling cobwebs completely untouched despite me specifically mentioning balcony cobwebs when paying the extra $155. Heating vent grille also not dusted
- "Clean light switches/power points" (every room) - not cleaned
- "Vacuum & Mop Floors" (every room) - floors neither vacuumed nor mopped throughout
- Bathroom tiles still had dust and dried soap despite "Scrub & Clean showers, wall tiles"
- Shower glass had soap scum remaining
- Balcony railings completely untouched despite paying an extra $155 for balcony cleaning

I wasn't present during the cleaning and only discovered these issues by chance when in the area for work. With my tenancy ending that day, I had to rush to buy cleaning supplies and complete the work myself to secure my bond return.

The real frustration: I specifically paid extra for balcony cleaning and chose their premium service for a stress-free move, but instead spent hours on moving day doing work I'd already paid for. I had to improvise tools to reach the cobwebs I'd specifically mentioned when agreeing to pay extra.

Customer service: After providing detailed feedback with photos, they offered a $100 partial refund - barely 15% of what I paid. Since I inspected the property the day the lease ended a reclean was not possible without delaying my bond return and causing friction with the property provider.

Bottom line: When a company can't meet their own published standards and ignores specific paid add-ons while unsupervised, it raises serious concerns about their service quality.

Would not recommend.

DO NOT use this company for cleaning. They cancelled my cleaning 3 times - and gave lies as to why they didn't show up. Then when they finally decided to show up the job was no where near the "100% end of lease gaurantee" as my real estate agent had to call their own cleaning company to come and clean the enitre house AGAIN. Further to this - their team also caused $1200 in damages to a marble bench top, which they refuse to refund me for as they don't believe it was caused by their company.

First time using Calibre Cleaning for our regular house clean. Cannot fault the cleaners and cleaning job (fast, unobtrusive, thorough and friendly) and the quote and customer service beforehand was also very professional and easy. Will happily use them now for our ongoing cleaning. Great job Ngawang!

Very worst service! Never trust this company. Please stay away from this company.

This company take your booking but cancel at the last minute when they can’t find a cleaner. They should be upfront about availability so you can source somebody else if needed.

I called last weekend to enquire about a deep clean. Spoke to DION, who insisted on getting card details for the clean. I didn't agree on the spot, so I was called 5-10 times a day for 3 days trying to get my card info. Too much, it's creepy. I was quoted $135 more than the others, no one wanted credit card details over the phone.

I booked Calibre Cleaning and they did an amazing job! the service was meticulous and professional. I highly recommend this company for any cleaning needs.

My experience with Calibre Cleaning was a complete disaster. They damaged my property, accusing me of it, and refused to take responsibility even laughing as they walked away. Their cleaning job was sloppy, leaving marks on the walls and ignoring crucial areas like door frames and the bathroom fan. To make matters worse, they stole cleaning products from my bathroom. When I tried to address these issues with their boss, I was met with indifference. He told me "why can't you just fix it yourself" and then did not answer my calls. Save yourself the trouble and money—stay far away from this unprofessional company.
