If I could have give zero stars I would have.
My husband is not the romantic type but as it is our 30th wedding anniversary he has sent flowers to work for me and what a waste of money, half dead and there's less than £10 worth of flowers. Horrible I would be so embarrassed sending them to someone. I will not be using them ever in the future. My husband will be so upset when I get home and show him them. Love him for sending them and having the thought but shame on your busy bee florist Scunthorpe

And I wish I could give this review '0' stars. I placed an order for funeral flowers for my sister and chose the Posy Arrangement (whites), which looked lovely in the picture. There are four size options: small, medium, large and extra large of which I chose the extra large at a cost of £51.99. When I arrived for her funeral today, I was mortified that what I expected to be a lovely large arrangement was a very small posy, no more than 12" circular in a cream coloured plastic pot, and frankly, the whole thing looked like it had seen better days. All the other lovely flowers and arrangements put mine to shame. So thank you Busy Bees for making a very sad day even worse for me, you should be ashamed. Obviously, I will not be recommending you to anyone I know.

DO NOT USE. A total disgrace of a company. You think you are using a local florist and it’s not. The child of the person I was sending flowers to has a fatal tumour. It was her birthday. She’s going through hell. I just wanted to make her smile for a few seconds. I paid for next day delivery. Nothing arrived. Nothing the next day. Still nothing. I’ve emailed, texted, and phoned. If I give the company the benefit of the doubt and it’s not a total scam and the positive reviews on this forum are not fake, (which I have to say I question), i can only assume that this company (based in Peterborough), misrepresents itself as a local florist, using various florists around the UK to fulfil orders - or NOT as it appears, taking a large commission from sales as what customers receive appear to only be (reading these reviews) worth a fraction of the actual cost. I found it’s central administration totally unprofessional, and based on my experience, it is run by people or persons (I’m yet to check Companies House), with appalling morals who have little care about those who they take money from. I agree with others on this review forum that Trading Standards should be involved for misrepresentation for the copy used on their website, and its use of Alt tags to make them appear they are local to the address you wish to send flowers. Even the STD phone numbers look local, further misrepresentation to the potential buyer that they are dealing with a local company. The fact that the vast majority of complaints on this review forum are suggesting the same is evidence of this.
Busy Bees, you are an absolute disgrace. When people send flowers, it’s usually for very personal and emotional reasons. Read all these reviews again and look at the pain you’ve caused. I want my money back and if you have an ounce of decency you will give it to me so I can send my friend flowers via another organisation.

The shop is not local, its located in Peterborough.

We are in Australia and ordered "same day" flowers and chocolates for my sisters 50th birthday (over $120 worth) in the UK. There was no delivery confirmation post the order confirmation. Arrived a day too late! - Do not recommend same day.

We then contacted them via email - no reply, contacted them on the phone number in the email and the one online and same again no answer, just a voicemail machine that always on even during open hours. The location is based in Peterborough area not local or at any other location that you think its coming from. WISH WE SAW THE REVIEWS LIKE EVERYONE ELSE!

The reviews on the website are actually really old, should of seen it, got blind sided.

Although the flowers I ordered for my sister weren’t delivered the same day as ordered, once I followed up they were delivered the following day. My sister was very happy with them and I think a lot of the negative reviews on this site are to do more with the delivery company rather than the florist.

This is the same scam as Amelia's Florist. Expect an email about your florist having an emergency too late for you to make alternative arrangements before getting a tiny bouquet squashed in a box through the post.

Really wish I’d read these reviews before ordering. I placed an order for some flowers for my mums birthday, I received an order confirmation email that they would be delivered on Monday 3rd July, which matched what it also said on my order online. They never arrived, couldn’t contact them by phone as when I called they was closed, so I emailed and was told I’d missed a cut off for them to be delivered on the Monday, but why send me a confirmation that they would be delivered for that day if they wouldn’t be. The flowers were then delivered on the Tuesday morning and I was absolutely embarrassed, I paid £25 and they are the smallest ‘bouquet’ I have ever seen. You can’t even call it a bouquet because there isn’t enough flowers in it! You can get a bigger bunch for much cheaper and nicer in the supermarket. Please don’t get ripped off by this awful company. I’ve emailed a complaint and been ignored which is disgusting customer service. I will be reporting them to trading standards.

It’s a rare event when I feel I have to write a negative review. My son & his partner ordered a bouquet of flowers for my birthday which was yesterday & they arrived today! When delivered they were squashed in a box with a small piece of damp oasis holding the flowers in place. I sent a photo to my son who was extremely dissatisfied with the size of the bouquet for what they’d paid for. Actually if I hadn’t known better I’d have put them down to a dearer bouquet from Aldi or Lidl priced at £6 not £40!! I certainly won’t be ordering or recommending this florist to family, friends or even strangers. 👎

DO NOT USE!!! Absolute rip-off! Appalling service. Flowers arrived a day late and were squashed. The size and quality of the bouquet didn't reflect the price at all! I contacted them to cancel and be fully refunded - they refused. No wonder their phone lines have limited hours; they must only receive complaints!

Not recieved flowers for my wife's birthday,ordered next day delivery.looking at the comments looks like they probably won't turn up either.think there's a shop local EXPECT A VISIT

When the flowers were eventually arrived, paid for same day but delivered the next day. They looked nice, but within 3 days they were rotting and smelled bad.
My personal opinion of this company is to stay well clear of them.

Ordered same day delivery, flowers delivered following day, 24 hours to late. Useless, avoid.

Wish I knew this was a national rip off company, not a local florist. Wanted to cheer up a friend having a bad day, so tried to find same day delivery. Busy Bees said if ordered by the cut off, would be same day. Nope, arrived late at night the next day after I emailed asking if they had been delivered.
When I was sent a photo of what arrived, I was disgusted. You would get more for a fiver in Tesco than what I paid £45 for.
Please, use a reputable company instead of these charlatans.

Ordered flowers for a special day today. The booking was accepted and confirmed.
Busy Bees, without notifying me, then decided to deliver my order a day earlier for their own personal reasons.
I would not recommend.

Wish I read reviews on here before I ordered from busy bees florist. First time ordering flower bouquet online and now the last! Ordered a large and received medium. Supposed to have white roses in it, there was none. Asked for no lilies, got a type of lily. The bouquet was to tiny, if I would have delivered it to someone not in my home, it would have been a big embarrassment. Bad enough I had to show what the flowers was supposed to look like. They were so disappointed and I was fuming. Thanks for nothing. Customer service blanked me since I said I would like a refund.

Ordered flowers within an hour emailed back stating they might not be able to deliver for Monday but they might it’s 97% chance they’ll be there and if it was an issue to reply back before 10am on the Sunday… I replied back Saturday so wayyyy in advance. The flowers still came a day later when I told them in advance not to bother. No phone line is working and nobody is replying to emails. I would like a refund

I ordered flowers for same day delivery and they never arrived. I asked the receiver to wait in all day and they never showed up.

Flowers arrived a day late, not on the birthday which I paid extra money for the flowers were delivered with the parcel company not the florist as promised no good go to your local florist

DO NOT RECOMMEND. Customer service is abysmal and communication very unprofessional. This company cannot get their story straight between emails. The excuses and reasons for errors are constantly changing. Company will not offer refunds…. I wonder why. They would be bankrupt if they offered full refunds to every customer experiencing issues. Go to Interflora.

**Edit - Busybees, no not the wrong company. I have the correct company here. This was not my personal experience but one of a close family members.

Flowers didn't arrive the day paid and they gave me the excuse of "northern Scotland can take longer and you possibly ordered close to the cut off point". It wasn't northern Scotland and it was 20 hours before the cut off point. There was no communication prior to it being late, and when my fiancé phoned up to ask about the situation, they refused to help him because he was not the one who placed the order. So instead, he asked them to contact me ASAP - which they didn't, causing me to have to phone up an hour and a half later myself.

I am never using this service again and I strongly recommend against this.

I also emailed the company stating my complaint and they responded at first to only a small section of it. I further complained that they didn't take my email seriously, to which I got an unprofessional and passive aggressive email back which also asked me to change my review on this site. I have edited it instead to add more information.
