I have tried to cancel on 3 occasions in the last few days and nobody has confirmed anything back to me. They said confirm my dob to which I did but then I have heard nothing back

So I did have a problem with BMCS due to some late payment fees but they have since given a good will gesture and I now only have to pay the actual balance owed. BMCS hasn't improved my credit score... Se mere
Very easy to set up an account. Helps to improve your credit score. The account is linked to your bank account , so you are in control of your spending. You will get an actual card for your daily shop... Se mere
The card is a great concept, but I've had real trouble with my direct debit being taken from my account which in turn blocked my account for at least 2 months. Other than this it does provide real... Se mere

I joined Buildmycreditscore and I regret the day I joined, I have had nothing but problems.
I have been out of my account for about a month I am unable to reset my password the email they send doesn't do the job, I have complained many times but I only get the same answers from different people who know nothing at all. I asked them to cancel my card altogether then they come with their threats that they cant cancel anything at all that I will have to pay the full subscription fees. Nice way to handle your clients. So they wont be hearing from me ever again and I will not pay their subscription fees. Enough is Enough !

The support is non existing I had emailed the support team to help me to activate the, did not get a response to any of my emails. and still cant activate the card. I just want to cancel this card, now if you can do that for me that great

It’s the first thing that came up to help me with my credit score and I have yet to use it but my credit score is climbing already.
I nearly opened an account when I noticed there was no mention of monthly subscription costs before you give your personal details and ID check, this is very unusual, and I can see why they have so many negative reviews. At least have a full monthly cost visible to people before they sign up, it seems they’re using people’s desperation to get a better credit score to their advantage?

All was going well for my one year subscription not until 1 month to end of subscritpion which I sent an email that I want my account closed which they acknowledged. Surprisely on end of contract I was notified I have a pending 75 pounds to pay even after notifying the support team I want my account closed.
Took a sharp one to close my direct debit before they could collect 75 pounds yearly renewal. Please kindly stop any pending payment or legal actions as I already notified I want my account closed.

After realising that the card is rubbish and doesn’t affect your score, I wanted to cancel it. However an email came through saying they will take payment soon, and it’s too late to stop the process. I wasn’t given an option whether to renew or not. £75 for this is mental. Now I have to fight for my money back.
The card doesn’t do what it says it does, it’s a mess about and it’s expensive and there is a high level of ‘scamminess’ around the customer service and their set up.

I RECIEVE CARD AND HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO USE OR ACTIVATE DUE TO CODE CONSTANTLY WRONG , YET IT TAKES 20 EMAILS TO GET ANY SORT OF ANSWER AFTER PAYING SUBSCRIPTION, I AM DISGUSTED AND FURIOUS . NO CALL FROM CUSTOMER TO SERVICE TO RESOLVE , IS THERE ONLY ONE PERSON HANDLING REQUEST AND COMPLAINTS ??? I AM CONTACTING MY BANK AND REJECTING THEM.FROM MY ACCOUNT , FURIOUS WITH THERE NON SERVICE !! GO ELSEWHERE

Awful support, someone scammed me, did direct debit with wizzair, luckily I noticed after one month, when they charged £100.60. I never setup any direct debit with wizzair. Since when you buy tickets with wizzair airlines and you can pay direct debit. I used wizzair to buy tickets many years never had this issue before. You can check my credit story. It was setup with currency card but attached with my bank. My bank was very good they paid me back straight away. But now buildMyCreditScore keeps sending me emails that I owed them money!!! Don’t understand, I didn’t spend those money.They need to find those scammers and get money from them. Very unsupported. Bad experience no support no help. Someone tried to scammed you and you still own money it’s ridiculous. So stressful. I thought they helped people and tried to help them. Supposed I was wrong.

BMCS hasn't improved my credit score yet but I am hoping to see a change soon. Especially considering the monthly charge for using the service.
Also registering on the electoral role has lifted my score a little
Avoid. I tried to close my account multiple times and I had emails saying it would affect my credit score which they didn’t mention when I signed up. I have tried to close it 2 times now and they are still taking money out of my account for a subscription I don’t want.

I had been using the service for ten months when, one day, my card suddenly showed a freeze alert, and I couldn’t use it anymore. I emailed customer support and received an automated response saying that my connection to the bank had been interrupted. I checked, and the connection was perfectly fine. I tried again, but the card was still frozen. I emailed support once more and got the same automated reply, telling me to wait 5 to 10 days!
I then requested to cancel the card to avoid being charged for the subscription but again received an automated response with no real assistance. There’s no phone number available in their system to contact anyone directly!
In the end, they still charged me for this month’s subscription, even though my card is still frozen, and I haven’t received any real response. It’s a complete disaster that they rely solely on an AI assistant to respond to messages, leaving customers waiting for over two weeks with no proper support!

Really good way of raising your credit rating

I asked to cancel my subscription as I signed up thinking it was something else, the original description of what it was wasn't very clear, and now I have been charged a second month for something I don't want, when I was told it was cancelled

I had a very disappointing experience with BuildMyCreditScore. Despite requesting to close my account before the subscription renewal date, the company insisted that I pay the full annual fee before they would process my cancellation. This policy feels unfair and exploitative, especially when I no longer have any use for the app.
To make matters worse, the app did not deliver on its primary promise: improving my credit score. Despite following their guidance, I saw no meaningful improvement. I feel misled and regret subscribing in the first place. I cannot recommend this service to anyone looking to improve their credit score. Its a scam
