Oh my goodness this place is so peaceful and the perfect place to relax. We are regulars staying there as we can’t wait to return when we are sad to leave. It’s now our home from home and if we could buy it and live there then we would in a heartbeat. Don’t book the available slots though because we would want them!

Was here for my Brothers wedding and what a place this is. Absolutely magical weekend. The little wren cabin is cosy but comfortable. Unfortunately we didn’t make use of the decking area but the view over the lake was stunning and would definitely recommend.

Amenities were great and nothing negative to say. Lovely shower also! So lovely to have been a little bit away from the main site but only a 5 minute walk felt like close to everything.

We had a wonderful first stay at Browning Bro's Kingfisher's Nest and couldn't have asked for a better countryside escape. From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed and welcomed. The cabin was spotless, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and luxurious stay.

The hot tub and sauna were perfect additions, making it easy to unwind while taking in the peaceful surroundings. It is a beautiful setting, and whether enjoying morning coffee overlooking the lake or relaxing under the stars, it is the perfect place to switch off and recharge.

What really stood out was the care and attention put into every detail. From the high-quality furnishings to the handwritten notes and thoughtful touches throughout the cabin, everything was carefully considered. It is clear you are passionate about creating a special experience.

We left feeling refreshed and are already planning our next visit. We will highly recommend Browning Bros to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious getaway. Thank you to the entire team for such a memorable stay. we cannot wait to return.

Stayed at Water Lily Lodge. This was our first summer stay but we have stayed a few times in December and enjoyed the cosy log burner. It is always lovely, but it was nice to enjoy the longer evenings outside on the deck, while knowing there is fantastic air conditioning inside for our increasingly hot summers. It's so homely and comfortable. We'll be back in December.

We are just home from a very relaxing day in Kingfishers nest for my husbands 40th Birthday. This was a beautiful retreat away from busy Cambridge life and we had a wonderful time relaxing, enjoying the hot tub and sauna and taking in the peace and quiet. We had beautiful weather whilst we stayed so enjoyed a walk around the lake, taking in the views and getting to enjoy the beautiful weather whilst also enjoying the benefits of AC.
The lodge had everything we needed and it was truly just a wonderful stay. Thank you.

Good for get always and fisherman

We stayed in the water Lilly lodge which had air con (life saver) and was very well present and cosy to stay in

Very secluded which I feel is a must for staying in lodges

Dog Friendly and quite closed in to avoid loosing the pooch

Bbq was amazing and hot tub was good

If you’re an angler the lake is a syndicate with 30Lbs carp from what I could find online. The only downside was that even thought you are allowed to fish form the balcony it isn’t practical (I was told this right away) but there is your own private swim 10 steps down. It would be nice to have the decking area adapted so everyone can remain together but that deffo won’t stop us going again

Oh and if you want extras the hosts can provide them for you and reply very quickly

The most magical lakeside cabin on a really peaceful site. We had a wonderful few days using the hot tub, bbq-ing and playing games (the cabin has a lots there). I would recommend taking bug spray as its next to the lake.

We had a wonderful break everything was perfect the view is so peaceful lots of wildlife with the lily’s on the lake just sit & chill inside the lodge decorated to a high standard loved the bathroom I want one & very spacious decking area lots off comfortable seating the Hot Tub is nice & private with all the the lovely tree round it & if you like fishing there a nice shaded area also great parking outside the lodge.

The surroundings were stunning, with plenty of nature to enjoy and a real sense of tranquillity. It was the perfect place to switch off, unwind, and spend some quality time together. We especially loved sitting outside in the evenings, taking in the peaceful atmosphere.

Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and it was clear that a lot of care has gone into creating such a special place. We’d highly recommend Kingfishers Nest to anyone looking for a relaxing escape, and we can’t wait to return!

A beautiful location, well appoint d accommodation and the rare experience of being left in peace. No intrusive check-in and staff and no overlooking by the other lodges. A real get a away

We have stayed here in the past and will definitely return again. Its our bolt hole to go and recharge. Absolutely love it

My fiance and I stayed at Kingfishers Next, one of our last getaways before getting married. We loved everything about the cabin and surrounding areas. The hot tub, sauna, bbq, everything was better than we could have hoped and it was a great booking process with great help from Sarah. Thanks so much and we will be back!

Our stay at Little Wren was absolutely wonderful. The cabin had everything you would need, coupled with the most tranquil views. A great spot to switch off and slow down. We bought our dog and utilised walks around the lake and into the woods - he loved it! Sweet little towns just a short drive away from the cabin too. Would recommend to others and hope to revisit in the future.

What a beautiful stay. Loved the very well thought out cabin (we stayed in water lily lodge) & all its decor, those bathroom sinks & sofas & the climbing plant (& of course the fire) were my fav parts. Had everything you need. We had the most tranquil stay looking out over the lake. The bed was so comfy, the hot tub amazing, Didn’t want to leave. Would def love to come back

Myself and my partner stayed at Water Lily Lodge for a long weekend and it was lovely. Thank goodness the weather was good! The lodge itself was clean and cosy with fab views of the lake. The bed was very comfortable and the hot tub was bliss! My partner enjoyed his fishing time on the lake, even though he didn't catch anything 😂 The swans, ducks and geese keep you company with their quacks and honks but that certainly adds to the charm of the location. We would definitely stay there again! Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at Kingfisher’s Nest with my partner to celebrate his birthday. The cabin exceeded our expectations - the place was absolutely beautiful and furnished well. It was a shame we did not have the time to use the hot tub and sauna! The views from the cabin were breathtaking and the atmosphere was so peaceful as the cabin was secluded. We are already planning our next stay here! Thank you to the Browning Bros, your hospitality has been fantastic!

We booked Water Lily Lodge for my sister 30th. It was so beautiful and peaceful. We had the best time, went to a local River for some kayaking, did some painting and had a BBQ. The lodge was perfect. Definitely hoping to visit again!

Kingfishers nest is the perfect place to reset and unwind. We love the natural decoration and feel of the place. Everything you need to have the perfect mini get away, from a log fire to a hot tub and sauna and gorgeous bath.

We had perfect stay at Little Wren for 3 nights. Situated by a beautiful lake it's perfect to get away from it all.
The cabin is small but has everything you need for 2 people.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very appreciative of the message on the last morning telling us we could check out later than expected.
