The people on the ground at Bromford are brilliant I had Christopher, Nick W and Keith M come out. But there hands are tied to what they can do. I keep reporting the same issue but the jobs don’t get replayed to the men actually coming out. But these men were so good today and did what they could

The man (keith morgan) that came to do my door and toilet was brilliant, polite, chatty, every thing that you could want from a maintenance person, he also talked through what he was doing, brilliant, he can come again, Christine Evans.

Dawn at customer service provided great assistance today in sorting all my enquiries that I have been chasing for months on. Other people passed me around to different teams but Dawn sorted everything for me, thank you for your help today :)

Today (Thursday) I had two repairs booked, the first for a defective exterior down pipe, and the second to adjust two internal doors that were defective through slight settlement ( being relatively new build property) the repair operative arrived and discussed my repair requests. He advised me that he had not been assigned to look at the internal doors. However, he said he would take a look at them for us.

He completed the first repair to the down pipe and then kindly took a look at the doors and determined that they just needed slight adjustment and said he would adjust them for us, he very professionally adjusted both doors and they are now correctly opening and closing.

I cannot speak highly enough of your operative, he was polite and friendly and very professional and he is a credit and ambassador for Bromford

Based on our experience today, it was really good. Dawn who we spoke to at customer service was able to see what the issue was, told me that there was an additional issue. She was able to raise an urgent ticket for an electrician to attend the property.

Jason came out and assessed the problem really well and has sent the feedback to follow up our repair so it is done correctly.

Bromford are absolute trash. My mother has had issues with her bathroom since she moved in years ago, they were supposed to be sorting it out since June bearing in mind she is a carer and cannot always get time off. So when she does and the workmen don't turn up it's a complete joke. Do you think she wants to waste her life waiting for useless workmen to turn up. Her bathroom is literally rotting. What a joke. She'll be on her deathbed before the idiots turn up.

As of the 25th September. They were supposed to come again today. The workman sit outside for 40 minutes stuffing his face while I watched and as soon as my mum came back she watched him drive away. He never even knocked on the door. This is disgusting behaviour.

We have lived in the same Bromford property for 10 years, after swapping with a tenant whom had 2 daughters in 2016.
We have now applied for a mutual exchange to be able to move back to Scotland (where I was born!) after coming to an agreement with a woman with 2 daughters who wants to move back to England.
Bromford however have refused the mutual exchange, claiming that the incoming tenant would be under-occupying this house.
This doesn’t make sense of course, when taking into account the fact that we are doing a like for like exchange of a 3 bed house for another 3 bed house, and in fact this house is smaller in size due to the 3rd bedroom only being a box room.
My 3 daughters (the eldest being 19) are cramped into 2 bedrooms in this house and would benefit from a home with double bedrooms and no box room.
I am extremely upset that they have declined this swap, without taking into account the mental health damage that it can cause when you are preventing somebody moving home due to family ties and anxiety at being stuck somewhere with no support.
There is no human factor involved in their decision making process at all, and in fact are clearly in violation of the housing act 1985 that states under-occupation is not classed as having only one spare bedroom, so even by their standards of 2 girls having to share one room, there would only be technically one ‘spare’ bedroom anyway. This would be utilised due to the incoming tenants youngest daughter having additional needs, but Bromford are requesting that the incoming tenant proves this. She shouldn’t have to!
I am seeking further advise on this matter.

Chris Taylor was amazing. He put right all the previous “bodged” jobs and removed around four windows so that he could repair them properly. He added sealing around all the windows, fitted security tags and left everything clean and tidy.

Thank you so much, Chris - a job very well done! Hopefully, I’ll now have a warmer winter - especially if my heating is replaced too!

I had Lee and Adam porter out for the whole day to do a complete rip out and install of my bathroom, they left it clean and tidy and done a phenomenal job, very happy with their work, and lovely and polite customer service also.

Great service throughout out engineer was brilliant
