I found the webinar hugely helpful and it gave me confidence to approach my Council again with a view to formalising a Communications Strategy and implementing an e-newletter as soon as possible as we have some massive upcoming projects, some of which are being misinterpreted within the Community, which we can promote, publicise and gain feedback.

As a relatively small parish council (116 dwellings), some of the information wasn't applicable but, even so, it was all fascinating and most helpful particularly how to make the best use of the website, newsletter (both paper and e-type) and to challenge where we are with our parishioners. Thank you.

I felt the Training course was extremely enlightening as I have only recently joined the council, It really helped highlight how to move forward … Planning, Review, Focus and Humour!!.. Thank you!

Good presentation very broad, would have liked a bit more focus on the e-newsletters and some indications of cost / work involved.

I found the session very easy to follow and engaging with plenty of visuals and relevant - but not excessive - information. Especially pleased that the session was recorded and a link will be distributed along with other helpful resources, this makes sharing this with all the officers who deal with our various comms much easier. The guys are really helpful, nothing too much trouble. As a result of taking on their ideas about Facebook Live etc, we broadcast our meeting on Monday Night and many of our residents listened in and said they wanted us to do it more regularly. Really helping us to reach new audiences, particularly in these unconventional times.
