First time I've bought fish & chips from here.
Staff were marvellous and the food was fantastic.
Will definitely be going back to Bradley's in the future. 👍
My wife ordered a selection of fish and unfortunately the initial delivery did not arrive and this was only the start of the problems !
The second delivery arrived all frozen except for the cartons of jellied eels, which apparently according to the very unprofessional response from a Dax Bradley’s was not “Their fault if fresh jellied eels were packed with frozen fish,” Dax then did not comment on the appalling standard of the prawns in filo pastry, I.e. a very small amount of prawns or the smallest amount of vegetables contained within the spring rolls, he also defended the pieces of shell we found within the dressed crab, and then blamed our cooking methods for the awful standard of mussels, also please note Bradley’s have across their website numerous references to “fresh fish,” but contained in very small font are the words “frozen within three hours,” when again Dax was confronted with our complaint he insinuated that we expected a fresh fish delivery, which we did not, but on the packaging of the wholesale boxed items from their third party suppliers, it states that the fish can be frozen for up to two years, Dax further commented that they were now allowed to freeze fish for up to three years during this awful pandemic.
Appalling customer service and product and attention to detail from start to finish, happy to use a fresh fishmonger from now on or a supplier that flash freezes fresh fish and packages and sends within 24hrs, not three years. Be warned !
As you can see from the response Mr Bradley is very selective in the company response, to suggest you treat people as you would like to be treated is acceptable, as I have treated yourself with a short sharp attention to detail which you require from your awful initial email to myself which was neither compassionate nor professional,
We did not expect fresh fish, you do sell products that could have been frozen for up to two years as it clearly states on your third party suppliers packaging.
I do not intend any further text on this matter as the facts have been presented to your company and not dealt with accordingly.

On one occasion I had a problem, this was sorted quickly and efficiently by Eileen.
Always pleased with the quality.
Able to select date/day of delivery.

With regards to to your reply, I am glad that my review has made you to reflect on your action. To provide an outcome of my experience, I hope you understand the aftermath of leaving a frozen package upside down in someone else property. As a result their floor smells of fish where I had to apologise on your behalf. Paying for a product and hunting for it is not an outcome anyone would like. Thus the conversation might have reflected the frustration. Which you have misinterpreted it as a form of shouting. To handle such frustration of a customer you need to have appropriate customer relation skill rather than bringing your emotions into play. Suggestion: Perhaps it’s time for you to consider or seek appropriate training for your role.
Instead of my direct intervention, I should have left the package for you to deal with. However, I demonstrated my generosity by getting the wrongly delivered parcel from someone else’s house.

First review
Online order placed with a delivery instruction; fish was delivered to another house hold and received a text message and email with an address stating that the order is delivered to my neighbour.
Contacted Bradley’s customer service and response was they will email the courier service and update.
Used google map to find the neighbour as it was on another road and got the parcel. T/c Bradley’s and updated them, their response was the delivery company they use is outstanding and they have no concerns. Instead of listening to the customer they placed an emphasis on supporting courier service.
The person I spoke appears to have less customer service experience and transferred the call to their boss. Claiming that, They don’t like to be shouted at. Luckily, the second person I spoke to was good listener, however repeated same conversation stating how good the courier company is.
Instead of addressing the highlighted issues, they mainly focused on justifying the courier companies action.
Lessons learned
1) look at the reviews prior to placing the order.
2) be skilful on google map to identify your delivered order.
3) ensure to have plenty of spare time
Based on my experience I will never approach Bradley’s again.

My first order and certainly not my last! Huge natural smoked haddocks fillets, which look very impressive and our dinner for tonight. The crabs look wonderful, especially the huge one (1.5 kilo - which I shall prep for tomorrow as a massive treat (crab is my catnip!)
I am absolutely delighted with my order (delivery was bang on time and beautifully packed), and so looking forward to the feast. Thank you so much I will definitely be back for more. Can't praise enough.

Exellent service from Bradleysfish and I was really excited about my order I revived this morning. The prawn was delicious and it's so convenient with the fish already frozen as I would have froze the fish anyway. Will ordner again soon as the value for money is really good.

" I bought your box of mackeral but it won't fit into any of my 3 upright freezers and the fish inside are frozen together in a huge block. I don't know what to do?"
"Well that box fits into my freezer. Why didn't you buy a bag?"
" The mackeral were fished in waters North of Scotland in the description but they are actually Norwegian according to the box"
