I used to trust only fish at the market but an accident made me do fish shopping online and I am so pleased to choose Bradley fish It's seafood is class 1 quality and so well packed in box with dry ice. Now I can't wait to cook my favourite South East Asian seafood cuisines .
Having used Bradleys for years, I will not longer buy anything from them. We ordered a kilo of kippers, sold in a bag and they are AWFUL! Goodness knows how old they are, but hardly any flesh on them, dry and with an 'over-ripe' taste. So bad were they, we have thrown half of them away! We also ordered jellied eels which came in a pot of water not jelly and when I complained, they said they have it on the website that if they have been frozen (and defrosted) en route to put a hole in the lid and put in a microwave and then let cool! The jelly will reform, they said. Really? A weird way to sell jellied eels. I would never, ever recommend this company, in my opinion their quality has gone down over the years and there are now plenty of other fish providers to choose from. But, if you do order from this company make sure you read all the small print.

I have used Bradley’s previously and been very happy with the service and products, sadly the last order for 6 items, had 2 items which only had 2 months shelf life left, which for bulk items of frozen goods is for me too short.
The other items did have over 6 months on them.
On my previous order the frozen goods had between 9 and 18 months shelf life.
On contacting the firm I was told they were having to source from different places to maintain prices, sadly if this means short shelf life for the products I won’t be buying from them again.
Avoid them. I was order Turbot skin fillet on Friday 16th around 10:00am, I have paid for Saturday delivery.
It arrived to me after 3 days on Monday 19th. The fillet was defreeze, courier company kept it without a freezer for over 2 days.
Instead of fresh frozen Turbot I have spoiled smelly fish. Customer service didn't reply to my complaint.

I did have an issue with delivery in that the items didn't arrive on the chosen date but it was the week before Xmas and it was a very busy time. The items were still frozen and of good quality despite arriving a day later than I had requested. One item was missing but Eileen was helpful and refunded me for that without hesitation. I am sorry I couldn't give 5 stars because of the delivery issues which I accept was the couriers but I have to base my review on the whole experience. Overall happy (hence 4 star) and I would order again. I have ordered before from Bradleys and there was no issue with my order on that occasion so it was down to ordering at a very busy time of the year and issues with the courier
Jellied eels arrived frozen with seals popped open. I ordered 2 packs of brown shrimp and only 1 arrived.
Was informed I was lucky to get my part order as it is manic this year and they are finding it hard to cope. Courier blamed for the frozen eels. Told to heat jelly in microwave and leave in fridge to set it to normal.Very bad service. I would have liked a complete new order. Not just a refund for the shrimp.
Fish delivered on time and was notified when delivered no strange o’ders were found crab was kept contained and safe no defaults everything ordered has arrived and will definitely be ordering from them again . Fish tasted excellent
My first time venturing to Bradley’s! I didn’t know what to expect as I needed particular fish and after googling Bradleys popped up. As I walked in the industrial plastic hanging entrance I was shocked with the amount of fish from all over the world that was on offer! I hadn’t a clue what I was to choose for my dinner party now that I had so much choice! After feeling confused clearly the expression on my face said it all! Cue SUPER WENDY!! I took her name as she genuinely was one of the most helpful, respectful and amazing people I have ever had serve me in any place anywhere!! So thank you for your help once more and I will certainly be back again!!
Marinated butterflied king prawns. Nowhere near as delicious as the last ones that I ordered. The last ones came in nicely packed 500g boxes with separate sleeves. These came in 1kg plastic bags all clumped together difficult to separate and messy. The prawns are not king sized and very dry with no flavour. These are a different supplier they are not the Thai Star butterfly marinated prawns that I was led to believe they were. Very disappointed will not be purchasing again. Order Number 332722
Big issue with one of the drivers parking outside our house. Van is smelly as if never cleaned.
At one stage he had fish in there from Saturday afternoon until Monday morning and the van is not refrigerated. Still have smelly fish liquid leaking out onto the road.
Doubt very much your fish is fresh, and can quite understand how some of the other reviewers get food poisoning.
Clearly a company that cares very little about the general public, or at least hires drivers that don’t care
I would give them a miss and go elsewhere
As a massive foodie I order from lots of specialist food suppliers online, and I have to say Bradley’s are by far the best company I deal with. The range is fantastic, especially as I look to recreate a lot of recipes that require exotic ingredients, and the customer service is literally second to none. Delivery always takes me by surprise it is so quick, but most of all, they ‘care’. I have had cause to speak to them both over the phone and by email and, on both occasions, the advice and genuine desire to please are what is so sadly missing from so many businesses today. I cannot praise highly enough.. Everything is great quality, but special shout for the Blazing Shrimp, I can recreate the Shrimp Tacos I miss so much when I’m not in Florida to a tee!! The rock lobster is also the best I’ve bought… congrats on a great job Bradley’s…
Ordered fish to be delivered on Thursday but did not arrive. Rang Bradleys to be told that my order hadn't been processed but never mind we can get it to you tomorrow. I advised them that I had ordered it to be delivered on Thursday as I was working from home that day and would not be around to take the order on Friday, they agreed to send it to me Saturday am as I was going out pm. Received a text Saturday morning to say that it was not going to be delivered until the afternoon, rang Bradleys once again who were very unhelpful and told me that in future I should use a local fish monger. Saturday was a very hot day and I had to go home early from the event I was at to take my order in which had been left outside, I don't think that I will use this company again
