We once ordered from Rick Stein for my birthday it came two days late. The apology we got was a coupon for money off the next order lol we vowed never to order from them again.

So had pretty low expectations from Bradley's Fish. I can honestly say they are brilliant. The order arrived within two days, great packaging and still frozen. The best quality fish we have ever had. NZ Oysters were beautiful. Herrings we large and perfect. Jellied Eels, Kippers, Dressed Crab, Whitebait, Trout, and Crevettes.

Everything has been top quality. Ordered twice so far and will be back for more.

I bought Red Mullet fillets from Bradley and it was not Mediterranean red mullet. It came from Indonesia and taste nothing. They should say clearly on their website that origin far east. But they did not.. they are misleading customers..I never heard also red mullet catches in far east. This fish is cold water fish and caught in deep waters of med and Atlantic. I think this is red snapper not red mullet!….

I am compelled to retract my comments as not longer after I posted I was contacted by Bradley's who went over and above to correct the issue.
This displayed the ultimate of trust and honesty something so rare these days when others would just ignore you.
If they will accept my future orders I will certainly buy from them again.
They are clearly a business of integrity

I’ve been ordering from them for years, but this time would be the last. They just don’t seem to care about their customers anymore.

I sent the following email and no response. I called them about the email and they asked me to resend it. I resent it. No response.

“I’ve been ordering seafood from you for years and I’ve been referring to many Japanese people who struggle to get good fish in this country.

I’ve always ordered salmon fillet to have for sushi as I knew the salmon from you was always freshly frozen (a few days before delivery date). However, this time, the salmon fillet was frozen a year ago! We were so looking forward to having a sushi in a while and we’re very disappointed.

The only reason why we buy from you is because fish fillets are freshly frozen. If we don’t get that, there’s no reason to buy from you.

I’d like a refund for the Salmon Fillet 1.1-1.3kg (£36) please. Order number XXXXXX.”

With the current higher price and this quality we get, we won’t be ordering from them again.

1. They never got back to me. It’s just unbelievable how they can lie so easily. By the way they never got back to me on my query regarding prawns either.

2. Salmon description suggests this can be eaten raw.

I don’t want negative energy so this is the end of this matter unless they have at least a little bit of conscience to make things right.

First impression of this company is very good. Eileen answered a question I had within an hour of emailing and I only made the order yesterday and it has come today still fully frozen and extremely well packaged. I was that impressed I felt compelled to make this review straight away. I am looking forward to my dinner tonight now!

Absolutely outstanding quality, price and service. Very rare to find such an amazing, family run business that genuinely cares about their customers and who will go the extra mile.
The quality of their products is as good as if not better than some more expensive sites. I can’t recommend them highly enough and a chat to the lovely Eileen will definitely brighten your day.

Excellently cooked and presented fish, chips and peas with very friendly service. Had the seniors version which was amazing value. The puddings are top rate as well.

Delivery was flung over fence box damaged I specified front door Delivery & courier sent left on rear porch I don't have a rear porch .I was sat in house waiting my dog enjoyed the polystyrene

ordered herrings and kippers. Kippers are the biggest I've ever seen, the herrings were in tact, so hoping there are some with soft roes, would deffo order again, very satisfied with my order and prompt delivery.

Great fish company, my order arrived promptly at 08:30 this morning.

Our order arrived in good time and had been well packaged. We ordered the Plaice in breadcrumbs and Cod fishcakes. We've only had the Plaice so far and it was absolutely delicious, well prepared and worth what we paid. We will certainly be ordering again. I highly recommend this company.

Ordered 4 x 1kg of supposedly 'Frozen at Sea' Cod.
It most certainly cannot have been.
I ordered skin on fillets. 2 bags had no skin.
The fillets expelled a lot of water when cooked and shrunk to a tough piece of unacceptable cod. I actually weighed the fish pre and post cooking and the weight of the water given up by the fillets was quite scandalous- meaning your paying for a lot of water.
I have heard fish being injected with water to bulk it out (it certainly happens with poultry).
The smell was very bad and far from fresh. I couldn't believe that they were passing this off as frozen at sea! It wasn't fit for sale and far from edible or fresh.
I bought the fillets as I have a histamine intolerance and had ordered this cod once before and on that occasion the quality was clearly as stated on the site , however the next batch was awful.
I have since bought Frozen at Sea from a wholesaler and can now testify as to what is FAS quality. What I bought was NOT. It was unbelievable what they were trying to get away with.
I honestly feel that what goes on behind closed doors at Bradleys/Frozenatsea.direct (same company) is not in the customers interests and fairly shady to say the least.
I had also bought 1kg Coley 'Frozen at Sea' on my order previous to the 4 x 1kg Cod order. Again awful quality.
I was given a refund for the 4 x 1kg Cod yet they said I couldn't get one when I brought up the bad 1kg Coley previously bought (I had originally let the bad Coley 'go' and didn't complain as perhaps it was some sort of blip on their behalf and gave them the benefit of the doubt- turned out to not be a blip but a consistency).
Wouldn't order again. Stay clear for health and quality.

Having bought from this company on several occasions I would highly recommend Bradleys for great quality, choice & price. Any queries or problems are quickly, professionally & efficiently dealt with by Eileen.

Do not order red king crab you get four legs and it costs you Twenty two pounds fifty per leg rip off

after attempting to deliver to address which had been corrupted. A promised pre delivery call was not made. Bradleys were immediately contacted after missed delivery, they demanded 50% surcharge of order value to redeliver to correct address. I had to decline, as an OAP with terminal cancer I could not afford this. Bradleys refused any refund, and I have had to arrange credit card chargeback. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

Ordered 2 bags of cod fillets and 2 bags of haddock fillets. Don't know what it is just had some and it was the worst tasting and looking fish I have ever had.Spent £82..what a waste of money that certainly was not cod , it was disgusting..won't buy off them again.

Amazing service.I have placed an order on Thursday and it was delivered by DPD at 12.30pm on Friday. Fish was very well packaged. Fantastic company!

Some of the best frozen seafood I’ve ever had! Delivery and service is always impeccable, it makes my day when I receive a Bradley’s Fish delivery!

When i received reply i sent email to explain i didn't have order number as thus was irdered in april and on my phone so been deleted i told them i had complained to there customer service so they should have a record of this complaint this was on the 7th july but had no response. Sadly to say but my last order was not to usual standard spent over £80 and most if the order uneatable whiting rubbery and chewy plaice small and filleted terrible just defrosted the pollock full of worms will not be ordering again i asked if they had changed supplier they wouldn't say so ordered elsewhere im afraid so dissatisfied.

Delivery was on time. Packed exceptionally well and price was within my budget. Will definitely purchase again. Thank you
